Can You Kick it? Well yes, you really should

Another game that’s recently launched that you should definitely run you beady eye over is “Can You Kick It”. Developed by ISM, the team behind the superb Fantasy Premier League Game, it shares much of the same rules and systems and is free to play - here’s the big difference though - unlike the Premier League game, it has £50,000 in prize money to hand out. Now you’re interested right?

Despite the prize pot, this is not a multi-entrant job so you’re limited to one team. That will put off the big boys who like to chase the cash prizes with multiple teams but levels the playing field rather for the rest of us rather nicely. Although the rules and systems for this game are very similar to the Premier League game, CYKI puts a twist on things by upping the player values and limiting you to just a 12-man squad. That effectively means you have to focus on players that are certs to be ever-presents and generally makes the game less hands-on. You do however, get 2 free transfers per week as opposed to just the one in the Premier League game, so you can juggle your side to form and fixtures regularly if you’re the attentive type.

There’s a £20,000 prize for the overall winner, runners-up prizes and 7 monthly prizes of a grand a throw. Not bad at all for a free game. If you’ve already registered a side for the Fantasy Premier League Game - and you really should have - then translating your selections to CYKI shuould be easy enough, and you could be in for a few grand for the effort. Okay, so it’s not quite as polished as its Budweiser sponsored friend, but I’m sure the potential for a few grand will soon take your mind off that. I’m currently looking for a catch but can’t find one as yet. Looks like a no-brainer.
