Anelka on the bench
Nicolas Anelka begins his Chelsea career on the bench as Grant keeps faith with Pizarro up front against Spurs.
Stlll at Chelsea, Ashley Cole is back in at left-back for Bridge. Bullard is back on the bench for Fulham, as is Faubert for West Ham. Sven has gone with both Elano and Castillo in his lineup at Everton. Valente gets the nod over Baines at left-back for Everton while Anichebe starts alongside McFadden, with Johnson out of the sixteen with an injury. Crouch is another who is out of the squad for Liverpool at Boro. On his way perhaps?
As always I’ll sum up the team selections in the weekend scout notes but there’s certainly some interesting decisions of note already.

OMG!6-0! As a Man U fan, best day of the season. As a fantasy manager, most frustrating. I transferred Adebayor in for Tevez, who I thought was injured then goes and has a blinder, instead of transferring him in for Anelka. Even worse, I put Fab as my captain instead of Ronaldo! Surely he has scored the most in one gameweek this season in FPL? Well, I suppose you can’t have everything

I transfered in Adebayor for Santa Cruz instead of Tevez, referring to Mark, saying that the news is all about Hargreaves. Still waiting for James and Bentley tomorrow.
Ronaldo must be the captain. Fabregas and Arsenal are not playing that well in the moment, so it was easy for me to choose Ronaldo, as he is totally on form this last few weeks.

Get rid of Santa Cruz for a cheap forward like Forssel and swap Gerrard for Ronaldo and You need at least a decent defender.

Moz: I transfered out James for Alumnia for exacly same reason as i have campbell. the arsenal keeper has the best form at the moment in FPL ranking and with fulham/newcastle next 2 games it looks like clean sheets, ha ha then it looked like a banker yesterday against birmingham.

Know it all, But I have Clichy! I was thinking about Hart though - he’s making a decent number of saves but they have some tricky fixtures 3-4 weeks away!
Ollie, stick with the same midfield - they will come good next week. think about Jagielka for Melburg if you can stomach another Everton player!
Santa Cruz for Jerome - against Sunderland and Derby soon. That’ll free up 2.3 million to get Lescott or Laursen. Avram Grant is swapping his full backs too frequently to take a chance on Belleti - you’d be better off with Carvalho as long as he doesn’t get injured or red carded again!!!

the moz:A bit hit and miss city at the moment, only other keeper apart from the big guns is Howard who is having a good spell between the sticks at the moment and future fixture list look good but I guess u will already have lescott. Flip a coin. I had same same dilema last week and choose tails

You’ve currently got 5 first choice midfielders, 3 first choice forwards and 2 first choice goalies. If you bring in people like Maik Taylor and Forsell or Muamba (no I’m not a Brum fan) you can respend the money elsewhere without weakening your first choice team. As long as the cheapo’s start every match you’ll be guarantied a couple of points if they have to come on as subs. The only place you need cover is in defence where you may need to rotate dependingg on fixtures (though goalies will usually always score well due to saves).
Inshaman and Moz’s suggestions are all good. If you need even more cash though, try going 4-3-3 with Santa Cruz for Young, Petrov for Muamba, James for Taylor, freeing up 5.4 million to blow on Ronaldo and a couple of defenders.

Thinking about it, Bent may be the one to go for; decent fixtures, good points per game and a bit cheaper than Jones or Jerome. Be wary of Forsell as he doesn’t always start.

I’m thinking of putting him in for Gerrard to free up some cash for Anelka or Tevez.

In one of my games I am not allowed more than three players for any one team. Since Anelka has transferred to Chelsea, I now have to get rid of one of either Beletti, Carvalho or Anelka. Any advice who I should get rid of would be appreciated.

Although I do know a cheat to get unlimited transfers. You have to press ctrl+f4 on the transfer page. It doesn’t work unless you’re wearing nothing but a towel…

its just the highest scoring team and it just worked out that van der sar, ferdinand, ronaldo and tevez were in it……..check again..

This “mustafa” guy that has got the highest scoring team for last gameweek (131 pts) has never transfered anyone since the first gameweek.
And the fact that he already has Tevez since he’s still wearing the west ham jersey until now.
So I guess like someone already mentioned here, that normally they will tell you to transfer out 1 player if a player move to a new team that make our team consist more than 3 players per team.
I don’t know the penalty if you don’t, but i guess this mustafa’s account is freezed (no transfers, no squad changing).
