New Polls Arrive

Tuesday is poll update day - well at least it is this week. The usual FPL captains poll has arrived to stroke Ronaldo’s ego that little bit more ( I know he is a keen visitor to the site ). Will anyone get close considering that United take on the Gunners? Maybe.

As for the second poll - with Defoe and Torres topping the “strikers most likely to do the damage over the remaining five games”, it’s time to test out your views on defences. So who has the best chances of reaping those clean sheets over the final five? Not so easy given the injuries to Vidic, Ferdinand and Cech. There are some dark horses here, so this one could be pretty pretty close.

  1. Chelsea for the stingiest defence and you-know-who for captain, unless our good friend MJ advises otherwise :)

Good win for your boys Martin and Rochdale AFC cement their place in the play off positions. Not a bad night. I might even get Chelsea’s 3rd choice keeper this weekend and finally boot Alumunia into touch. Englands No 1, “my arse” as the great Mike Bassett used to say.

Thanks. We rode our luck I suppose, but that’s football, Brian.
A Pompey clean sheet, losses for Wrexham and Notts County (I’m a part-time Chester City fan too) and a bottle of mid-priced Shiraz topped off the evening nicely…
