Wenger Ready for More Tinkering
Wenger is set to blood another youngster or two for the final game against Sunderland on Sunday. Arsenal’s official site have hinted that the manager will draft in Mark Randall, in addition to Kieran Gibbs who was on the bench against Everton last weekend. There’s also every possibility that Traore could get a start having impressed on his arrival as sub against Moyes’ men. Wenger has once again hinted that one of his established players could make way…
“I could give one or two players an early breather because they go to Euro 2008 or the African qualifiers”, he remarked.
Who could be set for the chop? The smart money has got to be on Eboue. Both Gibbs and Randall are midfield players so that looks likely to be the area in question that’s under threat. Eboue stands out as the player likely to be rested although, given Wenger’s vague criteria, he could look to rest Toure, Clichy or even Gallas.

Cant believe everyone is overlooking Lamps so much this weekend i just brought him in for Fabregas.Ballack is in good form but we all know with Lampard all he needs to do is bang in a free kick and he could score all day.Bolton have been weak on set-pieces all year so it is made for Lamps.Have 60 point lead after a really tough battle for 1st in my league all year.
Thinking of taking a 4 point hit to either
Change GK Hart or Howard for Cech OR
Change Adebayor for Tevez
I cant see Arsenal doing much about a Sunderland team looking on to next season and with a point to prove and see Arsenal winning 2-1, so Adebayor could figure, anyone think it is worth a 4 point hit for Tevez?would have 9.8 in the bank, 4 point hits are rarely worth it

I too think that Lamps is a more solid choice over Ballack. While Ballack has had a couple of recent high scoring performances (both in the league and champions league), i still believe that Lamps is their man and will be their go-to-guy in an effort to nick the title. Crunch time players to stand up in crunch time games.

This is NOT welcome news. My backline already includes two ‘doubtful’ players (Carvalho and Bikey) - the last thing I need is a question mark over Gallas as well. Why oh why are you doing this to me Mr Wenger??

its not that every1 is overlooking lamps lads..its that fab into ballack is a straight swap and it frees up cash, with doing that i was also able to get drogba for berbs, doesnt it make more sense. I do prefer lampard any day of the week

I’d prefer lamps too, but have the same problem of not having enough cash to get him in, therefore ballack makes sense
