City Agree Zabaleta Fee
Man City are closing in on another signing after it was reported that a fee had been agreed for Argentinian full-back Pablo Zabaleta. A sum of around £8 million has apparently been accepted by his club Espanyol.
The defender has just returned from a triumphant Olympics in Beijing with Argentina and is expected at Eastlands today to close the deal. What’s significant about this move from a fantasy perspective is that Zabaleta is right-sided and will operate at right-back or right midfield. With Wright-Phillips destined for a position on the right wing, it would seem that this signing could well displace Corluka at right full-back and perhaps see the Croatian depart the club after all.
Coluka is currently the most popular City defender in the Fantasy Premier League game and is owned by 12% of managers.

Might get him. Need a decent defender, and i need an argentine

So Everton have Saha, does that mean the Yak isn’t such a good shout?
Also what will Milner joining Villa do to Youngs value?

Can maybe see the Yak & Saha rotating as per marks comments. Don’t think Milner will have any impact on Young though.

I think Yak is always a good shout, hes a proven scorer, even though i don’t have him, with his upcoming fixtures i think he’s a bargain.
Saha will be struggling for match fitness and were yet to see if he can remain injury free, i certainly wouldn’t make any transfers on the basis of his arrival.
Young is a key player in the villa side, so i doubt it’ll affect him to be honest. If anything i personally think it’ll make him ‘up’ his game….

Depends if Saha can keep fit, if he can theres nothing to suggest there won’t be rotations.

Where do you think Robinho will be priced in the EPL fantasy league and is he a must have for any fantasy team?

I personally think Saha’s days are numbered in terms of playing 25+ games per season - Everton cannot afford to rotate and drop Yak as he is a proven 15+ goals a season player and reliable for lack of injury time off.
Alves or Zaki this week in for Bent?

Used my wildcard as i had 4 players injured and two suspended. My team at the moment is:
Reina (Schwarzer)
Figueroa Clichy Bosingwa Huth (Young)
Lampard(C) Young Arteta (Guthrie Gutierrez)
Torres Carew Ashton
What are peoples thoughts?

Captain dilemma..
Who would you go for this wknd out of -
Cech, Arteta, Downing, Adebayor.
Thinking of sticking with Adebayor - no doubt will get it wrong again
Any thoughts?

I’ve gone for Zaki over Alves firstly becuase he’s cheeper and secondly i think that Mido will get a run out. Zaki has played 180 mins so far and Alves has been subbed in the second half for both games.
