Robinho – The Signs Are Good

Filed under: Injury News, Team News - Posted by: Mark

It looks as though this morning’s scares over the fitness of Robinho have been allayed. Although the Brazilian is due to arrive at Eastlands for a thorough examination of his thigh strain, his national team doctor has given him the all clear to play for City on Monday.

The sight of the stretcher coming on to the field won’t have done Hughes or Robinho’s fantasy owners any good but as often happens, it appears that went a long way to making the his injury look far worse than it was. We’ll await confirmation from City of course, but right now, things are looking good for him to lineup against Newcastle on Monday.

We can only speculate what Kinnear will say when he hears this…I think we all have a pretty good idea though.
