Ronaldo Starts…
Of course he does. Never had any doubt. The lineups from Goodison’s noon kick off are in and Ronaldo is on the team sheet, as is Wes Brown at right back.
United have Vidic and Ferdinand back as expected, Park is recalled to the midfield and Fletcher and Giggs keep their places. Tevez and Anderson are on the bench with Rooney and Berbatov up front once again.
As for Everton - it’s a 4-4-2 from Moyes with Saha partnering Yakubu - Rodwell is dropped. Baines is dropped to the bench with Yobo coming back into the defence.

Thank god cmon United

Viva Ronaldo. A brace today will send me top of my league, and have the other Ronaldoless managers panicking.
[Reply]
Reply by Fran on October 25 9:43 pm:
Who’s panicking now Akers? Ronaldo will not score as much as last season it is impossible! Could be a good idea getting cheap defenders at this rate?!

had SWP as capt till there now and chickened out….
[Reply]
I’d rather be sitting here with Ronnie hoping he scores than not having him and hoping he doesnt score! Ronaldoless players.. prepare for an uncomfortable couple of hours!
[Reply]
Have put club before logic and gone for Agger over Clichy. Didn’t work for me last week so hoping it will this GW. Think it will be a stalemate at the bridge and can see Arsenal conceding… I hope.

Any ideas on who’s most likely to start of Denilson, Woodgate and Nosworthy?
[Reply]
Reply by Team d2b. on October 25 10:44 am:
Woodgate should start, Denilson may be rested, Nosworthy won’t start.
So Woodgate then

Reply by dunk on October 25 10:48 am:
Thanks Team d2b, It’s Woodgate or Denilson. I’ll prob go woodgate, but last time I benched Den due to rotation fears the bugger got a goal and two assists!

Thanks again d2b, Hoping for a clean sheet from your lads today, I’ve had C Gordon since the start. What’s your fans opinion on Nosworthy this season?
[Reply]
Reply by Team d2b. on October 25 11:00 am:
For me, and I think for most Sunderland fans, he’s too hit and miss. It’s kind of a love-hate relationship with Nozza’s. Although despite what I’ve just said, he’s still kind of a fans favourite, mainly due to the contribution he’s had in past 2 seasons I think though. I’m not too keen on him to be honest.

Reply by dunk on October 25 11:24 am:
Until his injury he was flying high in the Guardian game, lots of tackles, interceptions and clearances. Statistically at least he looked a very hard working defender, but I don’t really Know him as a player. Great to get your feedback.

Chris Kamara has just said it’s 90% certain that Rooney will score. Too late to change now Rooney backers. Unbelievable.

I don’t like all the tension of watching the matches sometimes, I prefer to go out and do something and check later at full time to get the good or bad news. Bad news Berbatov did not score, good news my 3 Hull players did excellent - lots of points. Yes, I am hoping for a Liverpool win and Lampard not to score!
I hope this weekend puts second thoughts about how we should spend our money i.e. on one player like Ronaldo or share it about a bit.
This will be the BIGGEST question if Ronaldo fails to score again.

fletcher is no way the new giggs but he is playing very well. very solid and he grafts

“Pursuit of specific and narrow areas of interest is one of the most striking features of Asperger Syndrome. Individuals with Asperger Syndrome may collect volumes of detailed information on a relatively narrow topic such as dinosaurs or deep fat fryers, without necessarily having genuine understanding of the broader topic.”
