Fuller Doubt For Baggies Clash
Stoke’s Ricardo Fuller is set to miss their next home game with West Brom due to international commitments with Jamaica. Some of you may have missed this little snippet in the web links so I’d thought I’d ram it home just in case (nearly 2000 FPL managers have already bought him since the weekend).
Fuller has been called up for their World Cup Qualifier with Canada on November 19 and with Stoke’s game following just a few days later, boss Pulis expects Fuller to be in no fit state to take his place in the side…
That might be mind games from Pulis, who in my opinion, is likely to have him on the bench at the very least, given his importance to Stoke’s pattern of play. However, with a trip to Old Trafford this weekend and doubts over a starting role against West Brom - you’d perhaps be wise to hold fire on considering the Stoke striker for a gameweek or two.
On a similar theme - Tim Cahill has been called up for Australia for their game with Bahrain on the same day. Everton however, don’t play their Premiership fixture with Wigan until Monday November 24; that should give Cahill plenty of time to get over his fatigue and take his place in the Everton lineup.

Good work. Nice navigation of the swear filter too.

I don’t think Fuller will miss that game.. mark, u are maybe right in saying that maybe he will not score big pts against Manu but the game against WBA will be VERY important for Stoke in the relegation battle. I do not see Pulis resting his player if he arrives 2 days before the match taking in consideration that he is by far the most important attacking player for Stoke (already 5 goals)..

Nope can’t see it either, as I mentioned - could well be Pulis playing games. I just pass the information on though just in case - there’s clearly a doubt that he’ll start.

Mark I think Manu is going to play the FIFA World Club Cup on GW 18.. How would someone manage if he has 3 star Manu players, may be for example Ronaldo, Berbatov and ferdinand??

Well, without giving this much thought, it has to be the defenders who are sacrificed first. United’s games approaching GW18 aren’t easy (Villa, City and Spurs away) and defenders haven’t had too much of a price increase so selling then buying back is an option. Nobody is selling Ronaldo - Berbatov? Maybe. I think he’ll need goals in the next 3-4 to prevent him being sold on by a good few managers.

Fuller’s onw yellow away from suspension. Wouldn’t be surprised if he gets a booking against ManU so he’s suspended for the West Brom game. I’m not a great fan of Tony Pulis but can’t see him lying so blatantly to his own fans.

Bugger. Last season Ricardo scored a hatrick against the Baggies.

On the other hand, what do you think about bednar for the stoke game?

PNE used to sell tee-shirts with his pic (Ricardo’s, not Mark’s), and the legend “Fuller Class”.
