The gameweek gets started at Stamford Bridge where there’s more attention on the pre-match handshakes than the ninety minutes that follow. For us Fantasy Managers it will be all about Drogba who wears the Fantasy Premier League armband for thousands today.
Team news from the Bridge finds Malouda at left-back again for the home side with Joe Cole coming in for Kalou. As for City, Kompany replaces the injured Toure alongside Lescott, while Zabaleta, De Jong and Barry form a midfield three with Adam Johnson and Bellamy out wide and Tevez back to lead the attack.

just reaslised i can field 13 (2 DGW) players for 4 point hit…….nice one and my main rivals only have 7.

part of me wouldnt mind n zogbia goin…….looking ahead to week 31 il have 6 dgw players (if fit) and only 1 of my 15 with an away game.
just did a run through of a potential squad and i couldnt bench any of them based on fixtures…….a suspension/injury would ease a few things for me that week for sure.

im know this is rather late but looking at week 31 with the planned squad id have to chose 3 subs (ricketts would be 1) from this lot so n zogbia out by then wouldnt be the worst thing to happen.

if he had scored he would have got +5
plus would ahve taken second pen and got +5 again
and prob would have got +3 bonus
so a total of 2 for playing +5 +5 +3 = 15
instead he missed the pen and got -2, and therefore didnt take the 2nd pen, and ended up with 2 overall
so his total was 2
If he had of scored the penalty then the series of events afterwards would not have been the same so you have no idea of knowing if they would have got a second penalty or if he would have taken it anyway.

Guy at top of my league left his team as is – he never changed subs or did any transfers. He kept Tevez too. Rooney was his captain so it will either be drogs or fabs who comes in depending if he chose form/value and knowing my luck it will be Fabs.

OK, I am officially going to be on the Bendy bus now.
I have 2 free transfers this GW (need two players in to field XI in GW29) and I am now quite prepared and happy to take a 4 pt hit to make it 3 just so that I can get Rodallega the hell out of town now.
There are only so many times you can handle your striker getting you 1 pt per game before you have to say enough is a freakin nuff!
At £6.6M I can get 1pt per game from a lot cheaper strikers than this assclown. Bendtner will be coming in for me now. Good luck to whoever has Roda for the Liverpool game. That’s another 1 pointer for sure!

You’re like me today, olivebj. I have Gomes in goal but Pienaar in midfield. League rival has Bale, so I’d prob rather have a 1-0 Everton win with either the goal or assist by Pienaar, as that would benefit me more than him.

Yes, he’s one of the freebies I was going to use this weekend. Baines is scheduled to replace Ivanovic, as long as he comes through today and Wednesday’s’ Egypt friendly unscathed.

I never seen the tackle and am unsure if you only get a three match ban only if it is classed as a very dangerous tackle with intent. So i would wait to see if he gets the three match ban or just the one before deciding.
Will do! Going to replace him with Ricketts I think, with his DGW and being only 3.9 it would set me up to get Milner in for Johnson for GW30! So if he gets 3 its not the end of the world.

Agreed, but I even if they appeal and it gets reduced to a single match ban, from a fantasy football point of view, he looked so distraught he’s not going to play to 100% for a while, and prob neither will the team (Not that investing in Stoke looked like a plan for the run in… )
