  1. champ says:

Please supply a link if what you say is true. I was on the man utd site earlier and all fergie had said on rooney is that he’s a doubt

  2. lightspeed says:

For this week – fielding 10 (2 doubtful):

    Hart
    Zayatte/Dann/Bramble/Hughes or Dawson (both absent)
    Fabs/N’zog (doubt)/Pienaar/Bowyer
    Rooney (Doubt)/Bendtner

    Subs:lamps/Drogs/sorenson

Already used 2 free’s thinking of bolstering my defence for a hit which has been bargain basement all season – looking at Distin/Baines (the latter would cost me Dawson who has favorable upcoming fixtures.

    Worth it?

  3. My brother’s asked my to have a look at his team, as he’s wallowing at the bottom of our league.

He ‘s already made an 8 pt hit to field 10 (inc a doubtful Etherington).

Worth an extra 4 pt hit to bring in Torres for Drogba?

    • richyd says:

maybe not if chelsea get there double gameweek hell want drogba back then. and i can see rafa subbing torres after about 60mins

  4. richyd says:

so who do you guys think i should play ?

scharner at home to mighty liverpool
    or
    carr away at pompey???

  5. Chris 1 says:

Is it worth a 4 point hit to bring in a <6m defender for song? I currently only have 9 available players, two of those being scharner and n'zogbia.

    Thanks

  6. byeronaldo says:

Which should I bench? Scharner, N’Zogbia or Diaby?

  7. lightspeed says:

    My logic:

4 point hits are well worth it if:

    1) You cant field 11 players and you are ditching a player that is not playing (technically makes it a 2pt hit)

    2) If the player you are bringing in has “potential” to score more than the bog standard 2pts.

  8. RaspingDrive says:

If Rooney’s knee really is swollen, it doesn’t make sense for Fergie to risk playing him against Wolves, as it will probably only make the problem worse.

Right pain in the ass that is for all us FF fans. I have already done 4 points; do I do another 4 (Dawson to Distin) and bench Rooney or sit tight? What’s everyone else doing?

  9. stevemac1983 says:

    Team currently:

    Hart (Sorenson)
    Evra Scharner Fox (Dunne) (Ivanovic)
Lee Taylor Fabregas (C) Pienaar N’Zogbia
    Rooney Rodallega (Drogba)

Already used my free transfer bringing Pienaar in for Duff, should i make another 1 or 2 considering quite a few people will be taking hits this week, options would be:

    1. Scharner to Baines
    2. Taylor to Diaby, even though he has a double will he play? But is Diaby fit?
    3. Rodallega to Bendtner?

I’m leaning towards taking an 8 point hit and doing subs 1 and 3!!Any opinions?

  10. SkyBlueArmy says:

    Morning all,
need a defender to replace Song. No more than &5.2m to enable me to carry out my plan over the next 3 weeks. Should be someone to hold onto, be playing this gw and maybe have a double gw coming up.
already have Ollson, M Dawson, Dann and Ricketts.

I’m leaning towards Tomkins. Any better suggestions at that price?

  11. lightspeed says:

Tomkins run isnt great after this GW

  12. mucka says:

    Hi lads who to buy
    A: Lee
    B: Diaby

please can I have a few opinions please

    • NewtonHeath says:

      B if looking longterm

    • champ says:

lee’s could be good for this week but after that I’d say diaby is better. Can you please provide a link for your rooney claim on the last page? I’ve only heard that fergie said he’s a doubt

      • mucka says:

It was on Mutv.. I dunno where to find it but about 5 guys came on here and sed that he sed it on mutv!! The link may be on the website but I’m not sure really sorry

  13. hayden77 says:

Team currently:Hart (Sorenson) Ridgewell Ricketts Craddock Vermaelen (Dunne) Lee Kuyt Fabregas (C) N’Zogbia (Milner) Rooney Bendtner (Drogba)

Any thoughts? Was considering Kuyt out for a 4 pointer but may wait til next week. lucky to field 11 players at the mo (if Nzogbia fit)

    Thanks

    • hayden77 says:

      Guys?

      • Slasher says:

        Playing Hart over Sorensen?

Don’t take the hit, this is one of those week where not every one can field 11 without a hit,So if you can you have a head start

  14. lightspeed says:

B – more risky but way more potential

  15. NewtonHeath says:

Want to bring in an arsenal defnder but can afford Vamaelen. So kinda leaves me with sagna or clichy?
    Your thoughts would be appriciated.

    • champ says:

really nothing between them imo. Is one cheaper? if so go for that one

      • NewtonHeath says:

both 6.2. Swayed towards Clichy as more attacking?

        • champ says:

yeah usually but he’s struggled for form this year. If anything I’d say clichy slight better assist threat and sagna slight better goal threat. But like I said I can’t really see anything to seperate them. Though there’s a bit more of a chance of sagna getting rested at times with eboue doing a good job recently

    • Chill Pill says:

Don’t pick Sagna, Eboue has played there a number of times and Wenger seems to rotate that spot a bit more then anywhere else.

  16. Which one to bench out of these 3? Bent, O’Hara or N’zogbia?

  17. juniorbaiano says:

to start, J McCarthy or C Jerome?

  18. Slasher says:

Guys need a bit of help here
Selling Hughes/dawson[most Probably Hughes] for an everton Defender .i was set on getting Baines however now am wondering if he is worth 1.3m more than Distin?!

    Thanks

    • Big Dunc says:

i went Distin. extra 1.3m means i can get lampard in 2 weeks

    • champ says:

he’s worth it imo, depends if you need cash elsewhere

      • Slasher says:

Thank you guys:)But the Split decision does not help one bit :(
Can’t really think of spending it elsewhere.
If you have a look at my notes it would seem like I have planned for the rest of the season :D however the one problem is every time i have updated my notes I would be hit with an injury and would invariably be forced to brush away my plans which may require an extra 1 m,that is what is preventing me from being certain of this trade

        • champ says:

I got baines, well worth it imo, good attacking threat and good chance of cs. I don’t completely trust the everton defence though even with good fixtures so I like the attacking potential of baines, money well spent.

  19. lmurphy718 says:

had to change half my team this week… i had nobody playing!

  20. lmurphy718 says:

    will Rooney be playing though?

  21. metalhead says:

any good Samaritans out there willing to tell me what to do with my team for this gw?

7 playing so far if rooney nzog cohen all play :(

    • I would be getting rid of-
      Gomes
      Dunn
      Baird

You already have money invested in Given and he has a double coming up.
Fulham are missing this week and fixtures look stiff, same for Dunn and Blackburn plus dont think hes playing much anyway

    • You in a world of hurt alright. How about Gomes to Jaaskelainen, Tevez to Bendtner and Baird to Baines/Distin?

  22. gaspar says:

    Hi guys!
Is it worth a 4 point hit to swap Etherington or N’Zogbia for Lee? If yes, who should go?
I’m still in Fantasy Cup and my rival didn’t make any transfers this week.
    My team is:
    Hart
    Baines – Evra – Fox
    Fabregas(C) – Pienaar – Taylor – N’Zogbia – Etherington
    Bent – Rooney
    Bench: Sorensen, Drogba, Dawson, Baird.

  23. grimeyal says:

    is n’zogbia injured?

  24. NewtonHeath says:

Hart away at pompey? or Sorensen away at burnley? Got a feeling i wont be the only 1 debating this!

  25. ZB FC says:

Guys i have a serious qn for serious players.

do i buy valencia or piennar?

piennar has crazy fixtures, is a good cheap prospect and double gwk coming up – but unlikely to absolutely explode with points this week as he’s not a destroyer of teams

valencia – gun, not so hot fixtures (more a one week trade), also a risk if nani playes – but could seriously explode against wolves especially if rooney doesnt play or is subbed off.

personally i think valencia will play this week and could go nuts. also a lot of the top teams have him and i’m really worried about that.

very tough call i’ve been pondering it all week. always felt valencia was the best choice but now am not so sure.
