I wouldn’t say clearly, Chelsea are likely to explode all over someone very soon if they want that Champions League place.

Don’t get me wrong its blatently obvious that Swansea are good at home, but sooner or later they are going to get trolloped on just like Newcastle did at Fulham.

Yeah but you go with the percentages, Swansea are more likely to keep a cs at home to Chelsea than Stoke are away to United. Obvious.

            Ryannn says:

Agreed I’d still go with Caulker anyways as Shotton is a rotation risk. But Caulker is still a gamble. Blackpool started off good last season then they got tired and took alot of hidings. Same with Hull the season before, it is going to happen sooner or later :)

          It is obvious.
Swansea can keep possession and have more possession everytime the play – especially at home and Chelsea are firing blanks.
Stoke cant keep possession for more than 3 passes and will be camped in their own half at OT and have no chance of a clean sheet the way theyve been defending recently,
          Caulker, by a mile

      Frazek says:

If you can afford him, Ade is still well worth having. Virtually guaranteed league starts with no Europe to worry about and limited use in FA Cup in early rounds. Spurs in very good form despite MC loss, and Ade will be back among goals/assists sooner rather than later, IMO. Far better bet for regular points than Keane (huge gamble). Studge is another good option, although I prefer Fletch (WOL) or Zamoroa (FUL) for the short-term.

Spurs were very unlucky to lose against City. To come back from 2-0 down then to get cheated into a penalty decision when the player clearly should have been sent off minutes before must be pretty frustrating for Spurs fans.

Yep. Especially so late in the game just moments after Defoe very nearly nicked a winner himself. Still, Tottenham competed with cashed-up Citeh in their own backyard, and most Spurs fans (certainly this one) will be very pleased about that.

If Welbeck doesn’t start Aguero is straight on. But i’m thinking his pace will be to much for Stoke defence especially with Stoke being away and their home form.

Evans is looking very good at the moment. He was unlucky not to have scored a hatrick against Wigan :D

I’ll openly admit I was one of those fans that perceived Evans as useless and was begging for him to be sold. However now he is looking very reliable at the back. I wouldn’t be suprised if he pipped Ferdinand for that starting spot.

Smalling on the other hand looked a bit shaky at times in the middle. Hes more reliable at rightback but his link up at RB is atrocious he seems so negative passing forward.

          IMO Smalling’s more a Rio-type and Evans more a Vidic-type.

Everyones entitled to their opinions but I respect yours.

Regarding Smalling, he looked pretty shaky at times some of his errors could have been costly like that slip for example? How often do you see RVP miss chances like that? I think it was probably down to linking up with Evans in the centre when before hand he was usually alongside Rio or Vidic.

I thought he played very good last season. His start to this season was great scoring against City in the Charity Shield etc. Its since hes come back from injury, which is no excuse as hes had his run of games.

I don’t think you need to have both Bale and VDV. IMO Bale is the only Spurs mid worth holding onto at the moment. You could then do VDV > Dempsey maybe? He’s in form and has some nice fixtures coming up too. I’d probably consider getting some City defensive coverage in the form of Richards/Kompany if your looking to oust Jones. Other than that I don’t think your team is that bad, so maybe hold onto the WC? All up to you though!

Should I work towards the below team? Would need Ba, morison, terry and Kompany in for aguero, sturridge, shotton and caulker:

    Vorm, Lindegaard
    Richards, Kompany, Smalling, terry, Williamson
    Valencia, bale, silva, dempsey, sessegnon
    Rvp, Ba, morison/helguson

In my opinion that is the best midfield (currently). Attack looks cheap but Ba is as good as anyone and morison/helguson would usually be sub, unless preferred to dempsey or sess.

    Cheers!

          Luiz, Cahill, Terry, Cashley
          —————-Essien————-

I might go Cech after that great fixtures for City. Or maybe Reina. I don’t know who to play this week Vorm or Hart. Vorm according to me has huge potential if he keeps a CS he could get double figures easily

Not sure who to play out of McClean and Helguson atm though, McClean has on paper the easier fixture, but I reckon Aston Villa have been too sloppy at home recently and hosting QPR may yield many goals. Funny though that I’d play Sess as a no brainer.
