Had Silva for majority of season. Is it worth getting rid of him just before their 2 home games to accommodate Dzeko –> Aguero, when Baloteli will be back?

If you have Richards or Kompany,Silva is enough with one of them imo, since City attacking points are likely to be spread well around between Nasri, Aguero, Dzeko, Balotelli, AJohnson, Silva.

          But…..

if a team has good fixtures, you want their nailed-on-to-start striker and leading goalscorer – not the rest of the squad.

It’s why the Platinum club strike force at the moment is RVP/Aguero/Ba

How you afford him is another matter.

Zilch in the bank. Any improvements considered. Particularly to Ade.

Can’t see obvious myself, although considered Silva > Mata until saw fixtures. Still been a bit disappointing of late.

Exactly that is the name of the game. What else merits such regular bps. Tackles and fair play? CS are the product of a back 4 and a keeper (even a whole dream effort) so to single out 1 defender who merits bps without a goal or an assist is unrealistic.

Both are good options. I’d have a slightt preference for downgrading Aguero. Remeber, when Balotelli is back, he’s on penalties. Aguero doesn’t seem to get the 90 much either.

rooney and aguero not getting 3. it’s got to be penalties being worth less ppi than goals. for aguero a goal, assist, win (80mins of it anyway), no shots off target and only 30ppi? i reckon a penalty is the equivalent of an assist, with a goal being worth almost 2 assists

I gave Ba a week to prove himself again and he certainly did that. Need him back in my team ASAP but need to take a -4 points hit over 2 weeks to get him back in. I have 7.4M to spend on a straight swap for a forward but is anyone else really worth it or is Ba the man?

    Was thinking Ferguson > McClean
    Enrique > Shawcross
    Helguson > Ba

            TonyVilliers says:

I have implemented a rule for myself this season to not once make a transfer where I have to spend 4 points (but I was forced to one week through injury). It’s not worth it in my opinion. Ba will be unlikely to get the 4 points back for you in that game (although I stand to be proved wrong) and he won’t be at his most potent until the get the other AFC players back. Therefore, by waiting, you get the 2 free transfers, and get him for a better run of games. No probs on advice but the best thing I often find is go with your gut instinct.
