Im sure I read on here that someone was intending loading up with 11 starters for the DGW and incurring a hit of -20 points. Seemd a bit extreme to me at the time but then I started thinking - loss 20 points - guaranteed minimum 48 points (MINIMUM) - thats based on 11 x 2 and (c) baps.

DGW's are highly over-rated, imo.
Incomplete math... Players can and do produce zeroes and ones. Each four point hit is to bring in one extra game, not two extra games.
That player was taking five hits (x4) for 20 points, presumably to bring in five players who were DGW in place of five who were SGW. He already has 5 DGW then, for 10 matches and can bring in one more DGW for free, to take him to 12 matches. He would have had 17 matches doing just the allowable hit, but will get to 22 (5 more matches) at the cost of 20 points. Needs four points per match from those new players to guarantee break even.
Extreme, but if his team was a mess to begin with, maybe it could make sense.

I'm still a little worried that everton don't have anything to play for. Is finishing above liverpool enough motivation to keep them going until the end of the season? If it is, then i will defenitely be getting jellyfish

No, he isn't essential but his brace has grabbed the eyeballs of many here. Part of it is a kneejerk reaction just the same way everyone went gaga over tevez and aguero last week...
Well I don't have Cisse (chelsea, newcastle) as I can see my other strikers doing better but Jelavic has good fixtures till the end.

I think Demps in order not to double somewhere.
I like Dempsey, and actually have all three of those players, but there really is no rule against doubling up on teams. I've ridden double Fulham (Dempsey/Pog) to great result one week, and had double Arsenal (Walcott/RVP), double 'toon (Ba/Barfa, then Cisse/Barfa) and had double Spurs midfield w/Bale/VDV early on for a while as well.
If the fixtures are good, ride the horse(s)!

I might still put the holy trinity back together for the dgw (if ade is declared fit). My thinking being that if they fail, then that will be great for me, because it should see us in the champions league. If they finally find form, then fantasy points can go some way to easing the pain of missing out on the champions league!

Not sure about benching the 2 top scoring players in the game. Feels weird. Also, would mean I'd have to either dowgrade Valencia -> a 6.7m or below mid (Barfa?) or downgrade Kompany -> a 5.3m or below def (Jags).
Swaying towards the Rooney out for 1 week though right now. Yeah it uses up a transfer, but I can't see any better moves for my lot over the next 3 weeks.
