The Big Numbers – Gameweek Thirty Seven

Yaya Toure’s magnificent brace of goals looks to have sealed the title for the blue half of Manchester. United did their job against Swansea with a routine 2-0 win, but must now rely on relegation threatened QPR to earn a result at the Etihad.

With Monday’s Ewood clash and Chelsea’s trip to Anfield still to come, here’s our pick of the key statistis so far in the Gameweek, together with our take on where the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) bonus could be heading…

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Likely transfers:

    A) Cisse and Bale >> Aguero and Siggy
    B) Cisse and Dempsey >> Aguero and Siggy
    C) Cisse and Bale >> Aguero and Moses
    D) Cisse and Dempsey >> Aguero and Moses
    E) Cisse and VDV >> Aguero and Siggy
    F) Cisse and Dempsey >> Aguero and Moses

    What do you guys advice?

P.S. All options incur a -4 points hit...

    End of last page repost:

Was planning to bench Dempsey away at Spurs, but having watched the highlights he seemed to play v. well.

Currently planning on playing: Valencia, Sigurdsson, Moses, Pienaar

I need to overhaul around 10 points next GW. Looking at the forwards, where the key battles seem to be lately:

    Him:
    Aguero - RVP - Jelavic

    Me:
    Rooney - RVP - Jelavic

Do I do Rooney > Aguero (c) and hope that the rest of my team beats his (Aguero would be my no.1 choice of captain)?

Or Rooney > Tevez (c) for a differential?

Or Jelavic / Dempsey > Aguero (or Tevez) / Moses - 4 points

    Thanks

Don't think you'll find one, that's a pretty tough call.

I expect an open game, Newcastle with everything to do, Everton at home won't just let them walk all over them. Both will probably score, but Jelavic with the home advantage edges it for me.

          Jelavic to keep.

Had a glance at your team, I can see your selection dilemma. I can't really recommend an optimal starting 4, its very debatable. But I would suggest you keep 3 up front if you're bringing in Aguero.

ok wll, I will keep to the plan and sell Cisse and bench Clint. Way I see it, if Nani plays he is likely to do well, if he doesn't, I get Clint. But last time I benched him he got 16 points

So after the Fa Cup final had finished, Torres went into the Liverpool changing room to meet the players and to swap shirts with Reina. Reina later on revealed in a interview that he asked Torres whether he will come back, but Torres remained silent. He then asked Torres again, when Torres replied that he misses Liverpool.

    Oh Nando, Nando, Nando. 🙁

Missed all the footie today. Looks like it was an exciting day. And Metrov saved my week again. 17, 7, 10(+baps). Best transfer of the season!

And the best news of the day: Spartak Moscow has beaten Zenith in Saint-Petersburg even despite all the efforts of corrupted referees and corrupted idiots in the football league administration, yeah baby!
PS if you play against Zenith and you are black, you get sent off even for celebrating goals:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-J061qql9Og
But even that doesn't help! 3rd goal in the 90th minute playing 10 against 11 and that's 3:2! Yeah baby once again!

It would be even more fun if you could understand what the commentator is saying. He is a famous Zenith fan, he's commenting all their matches and is infamous for talking some unbelievable nonsense.
In this video, he said that this was a right decision by the referee, because the whole world knows this gesture and how incredibly offensive it is!

4 point turnaround in the space of one minute, incredible! Bit worried when I remembered Stoke lost at home to Wigan last day of the season last year to keep them up so we need Crouch to do us a big favour next week!

I've felt all week that if we beat Stoke and Bolton failed to win against WBA that would send Bolton down.

They have a tough last day too against Stoke, who are pretty hard to beat at home.

I think we'll park the bus against City and hope to frustrate them as long as possible. Bolton have to win now so they have to go for broke. Think that could leave plenty of gaps for Stoke to exploit.
