    I'm afraid of benching Petrov because he has been absolutely on fire recently. He's one of the best transfers I made this season I think. But he may well draw a blank at Stoke... But Bolton are fighting for survival...

  I like it, if you can bear to trust the English team with Cahill and Walcott.
  
  I wouldn't get M'Vila either, hes a DM, all he'll get is recovered balls bonus, not much available for 5.5 though. Andrews of Ireland is a 4.0 starter. Can you afford an upgrade to Mandzukic at 6.0?

  I think not having Ibrahimovic Matchday 1 is a mistake - Llorente a risk vs Italy. better options than Lewandowski - howabout Keane Matchday 1. Ozil vs Portugal a risk - Walcott a risk - M'Vila a waste of funds. Defensively I think Olsson a good choice as is Tzorvas. If going to risk on a midfielder - would risk on Karagounis, especially Matchday 1.

    In fairness every single player is a risk, there are no guaranteed wins in national football, especially in tournaments. I really think Lewandowski is a great shout, a player who has played brilliantly this season.

      Dont have anything against him, just Poland in general. Greece play ugly football and can hold up against any team. Plus there is no desperation for matchday 1, more motivation to not lose as a loss can end your tournament.

      this is true. I feel having 2 teams for Matchday 1 and 2 is prob the way to go. Matchday 3 many groups will be decided(pretty much) and teams will rest key players. After that, unlimited transfers for quarters, after that 8 transfers for semis. Dont think wildcard is necessary after Matchday 2 unless there are many surprises.

        And Blackburn cant stay up either - its a training session for him - not like he needs to play 90 minutes - prob will play 70. Dont think its the kind of game where either team needs to be making hard tackles. Id rather have a player on 6 days rest with a "scrimmage" game then a player on 14 days rest. Just my opinion, but then again it's English football and it always confuses me. Just like I was confused with their lineup vs Liverpool with 4th place still a possibility.

        They've had champs league games in between and FA Cup games as well. He will absolutely start this weekend. You cant go into a final with your players not playing together for 2 weeks. Only in EPL do they seem to do this and it is past its time - teams need to keep playing together. You never see teams in other leagues taking out players as often as you do in EPL. But this time, I cant see it happening. Dont want to go into the final cold.

Bale, Valencia, vDV, Sigurdsson (Maloney)
RvP, Adebayor, Aguero

or

Bale, Yaya Toure, vDV, Sigurdson (Valencia)
RvP, Jelavic, Aguero

Which one looks better? Both are for hits. Basically it's Jelavic or Adebayor out for Aguero, and Dempsey to Maloney or Yaya Toure to fund it.

  Touch call as I prefer Ade over Jelly, but Yaya over Maloney
  
  I'd go with the Yaya option for 2 reasons
  
  1) Every chance Yaya will be pushed into an advanced role on Sunday
  
  2) You;re bringing Maloney in and benching him, which is frankly a ridiculous use of a 4 point hit.

      I agree, I just think that if you take a hit for player you need them to get some points to make it back otherwise it was a pointless hit, I am against benching a player you need to take a hit for.
