Last weekend’s headliners get the Gameweek started as Swansea face West Ham at the Liberty in the day’s early kick-off. Following that, we’ve no less than seven other Premier League matches in a bumper Saturday programme. Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open to soak up your real-time reactions as today’s matches roll on.

The team news from Swansea finds Michael Laudrup not surprisingly keeping faith with the same XI which scored five at Loftus Road. Chico recovers from a knock to start in defence, then. As for West Ham, they give £10 million man Matt Jarvis his debut, while James Tomkins also returns to the starting lineup and could well occupy a midfield role. Ricardo Vaz Te and Matt Taylor have made way.

Enjoy the game and all today’s action.

    i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again;

    last season i was ranked 1.5m in GW21, then i made a couple of good transfers and ended up in the top 10k.

    just going to patch up my team, maybe take one hit and carry on regardless.

      Pratik says:

      Who knows maybe you could have ended up in the top 1k, if you had set things right much earlier on in the season…

      I for one, am very susceptible to change of outlook when it comes to fpl. The need to adapt is crucial. So to avoid the Moses mistake (Have faith in your player, you took him for a reason, lost 0.5 on him by the end), I’m starting off the season with a few transfer hits and will cool off towards the latter half of the season.

      Fellaini is OOP and was epic last week. I’d wait for MOTD – see how far up the pitch he played with Naismith starting.

“I love to attack and I love to go up front...It is a little more difficult than when you are playing centre-back. If you play the way that I want to play, I think my influence is better as a left-back. For the team, it is best that I play as a centre-back. I like to bring the ball out. You need to move the game quickly, and that is one of my qualities as well.”

Jan Vertonghen outlines what he feels is his best position for Andre Villas-Boas
