Loftus Road provides the floodlit setting for the conclusion to Gameweek 6 as Mark Hughes’ QPR host West Ham. We’ve opened up the Dugout Discussion chatroom to catch the items that drop from the messy minds of Fantasy managers while the action unfolds.

The team news from tonight’s game is somewhat significant. There were mixed messages on the likely return of Andy Carroll to the Hammers lineup but, when the dust settled the big Geordie only makes the bench after his recent hamstring twang. He will loom large in reserve tonight, then. Sam Allardyce does make one change, however, bringing in Matt Jarvis for the unfortunate Matt Taylor on the left flank: Taylor is apparently carrying a knock. As for the hosts, they give a start to Djibril Cisse with Junior Hoilett the man to make way. Stephane Mbia is given a first Premier League start, in for the injured Jose Bosingwa.

QPR Starting XI: Cesar, Onuoha, Nelsen, Mbia, Hill, Park, Wright-Phillips, Granero, Faurlin, Zamora, Cisse.

West Ham Starting XI: Jaaskelainen, Demel, Collins, Reid, O’Brien, Noble, Diame, Nolan, Vaz Te, Jarvis, Cole.

  1. "QPR's next three games either side of the international break are against sixth-placed West Brom (a), second-placed Everton (h) and eighth-placed Arsenal (a). Ouch."

    1. guarantee you they'll win one of those games.

      Ouch indeed.

      Next 3 strikers . . .

      Long
      Jelavic
      Podolski

    3. Are we in 8tth now :(

  2. gorkss or nelsen for 3.9 defender?

    1. Gorkss is nailed on and will get 2 or 3 goalss imo

      1. ya but i thought QPR would be more solid at the back.. i don't know

    2. Both crap.

      Nelson.

      1. nelsen. get it right.

  3. Team for GW7 currently:

    Mignolet

    Baines / Fonte / Lescott

    Pienaar / Hazard / Michu / Maloney

Fletcher / Van Persie / Graham

Bench: Fed / Hughes / nzog / demel

Have 3.3m in the bank; 1FT

Plan on doing nzog->bale or cazorla and start them over maloney

have exact cash but bale could rise this eve, can't decide who to get, thoughts?

    1. Bale wont go up tonight

  4. Noble 3 bonus?

    Man of the match tonight

    1. It doesn't work like that.

    2. Noble is rubbish.

      1. So is your opinion ... ;-)

        1. So is everybody's opinion :D

    3. no way mate.

  5. Bad week this week.

    Jaask / Fed

    Ridgewell / Ivan / Baines - Demel/Clyne

    Hazard / Kagawa / Michu / Pienaar - Kaca

    Tevez / RVP / Graham

Got 2 FT's to use, what changes would you go for? Also have my WC that I'm tempted to play.

Was thinking about changing this to:

    Bego / Jaask

    Cole / Baines - Clark/Demel/Nelsen

    Mata / Cazorla / Bale / Pienaar - Sterling

    RVP / Fletcher / Crouch

    Opinions please.

    Thank you.

  6. Any tips - 0.4 in bank - 1FT

    Howard
    Baines - Gibbs - Cole
    Bale - Yaya - Michu - Pienaar - Noble
    Fletcher - RVP

Subs: Fed (inj) - McCarthy - Barnett - Berba (inj)

I could wildcard this week to get players like Fellaini in and get some of the junk of bench out and my midfield.

or just use FT - Noble OUT & Sterling IN (slightly worried about Sterlings starting place)

  7. What's up folks? Can I gloat a little? Just a little?

    1. Please spare us folk who have had shockers this week... :(

      1. Not fpl

    2. About what, may I ask? :)

    3. pls dont,check your overal rank 1st ;)

  8. current squad with 0.1m in bank. 2FT
    suggestions?

    Foster
    Baines | Rafael | Hughes
    Cazorla | Hazard | Pienaar | Michu
    RVP | Tevez | Lambert

    Begovic, Guthrie, Cuelllar, Demel

    suggestions?

    1. Toughie, maybe get rid of Hazard for Silva... save the other transfer for next week...

    2. Drop tevez for Aguero

    1. Ah I was just getting comfortable.

  9. Evening lads, I see that Nolan got an assist. Nice one. :)

  10. Which heavy hitting defender would you stick in next GW if you already had Baines? I want a replacemenr for Ivanovic after NOR.

I was thinking Verm (but i already have Gibbs) or Kompany (but form is shite).

      1. Cheers JK - looking for something heavier though - someone i wouldn't mind playing week in week out. Doubt Vert would fit that bill.

    1. I have the same 2 big hitting defenders & will probably downgrade Ivan & upgrade my Midfield or Strikers rather then get another top price defender.

      1. Am starting to think the same way Reacher - a lack of performing heavy-hitters could make me down-grade. Hmmm.

        1. My thoughts exactly all though if i had to pick a big hitting Def Kompany would be my choice, he is due a bit of form, City due a few clean sheets & a bonus pts magnet when they get them.

I thought it was time to make a leap of faith and play my wild card, as my subs were looking week and some of my midfield. what do you guys think of the new squad?.

    Begovic

    Baines —McAuley – -Rafael
    Fellaini –Dembele –Michu –Walters

Aguero –Jelavic –Ba subs (gkp)Schwarzer) –Vermaelen –Gibbs –Sterling

  12. How bad is this team for this weekend? Any suggestions folks, for now, or for the next few weeks? ...

    Vorm (Jussi)
    Baines, Demel, Clyne (Cuellar, Gunter)
    Pienaar, Hazard, Bale, Fellaini (Kac)
    RVP, Aguero, Graham

Any help woud be hugely appreciated, cheers.
