The ScoutCast – Episode Eighty Three – Kids

The latest episode, created mid-afternoon today, was not recorded amidst a playground, although, at times, the background noise and smutty innuendo would suggest as much.

While the fruit of our loins play merrily in adjacent rooms, Granville and I retire to find some quiet and systematically pull apart another week of Fantasy football with all the usual regulars thrown in. Granville has a 22-point lead to show for his efforts, while I’m doing all I can to remain calm after what can best be described as a false start. The green arrows are coming. Surely they’re coming?

  I have Clark as well and looking at how to get rid. There is only 1 game in the next 6 when I would want to play him. That said looks like you would need to downgrade elsewhere so depends on willingness there?

  haha yes, i replied but yeah I think it's a good idea but for me i can't see any other players in sterlings price range that are good enough and rotate well tbh, and i'm the kind of player that doesn't mind being spoilt for choice because there has been too many times where I've missed out completely because I couldn't transfer them in.

    oh really? huh... i still fancy him for a bigger haul vs villa than lambert vs fulham. can see lambert getting 1 and bale getting nothing or a couple goals/assists. after seeing them put 3 past united you'd think they could hammer villa don't you think?

Before the masses come later, bit of a dilema with the armband this week..

Foster

Baines, Figueroa, Zabaleta

Fellaini, Michu, Cazorla, Bale

Suarez, Podolski, Ba

Begovic, Nolan, Gunter, Cuellar

I count five possible captain choices there, Bale, Ba, Suarez, Michu, Cazorla?

Bale has form and fixture, but played 90 last night. Ba has form and fixture (sry united fans, one cs so far) but still wary to armband with Newcastle weakened, Suarez is on great form this season so far, but fixture is iffy. Michu and Cazorla speak for themselves.

I'm leaning towards Bale captain, Ba VC, but my gut says Suarez.

  it'd be between ba and bale for me with bale edging it. however ifyour get says suarez you should listen to your gut! just make sure its actually your gut and not a kneejerk/wanting to get last week's points

    I think it is 7 goals, 2 assists in all comps now for Suarez, with the most shots of any forwards in the league and chances created. If it was anyone else, no doubt would probably exist.

Have 0.2m and 1FT.

I have a couple of dilemmas
1) I am currently doubling up on everton defence which i am not too keen on
2) I dont have any spurs/chelski/city coverage and all three have great home fixtures. how can i bring in either bale/silva/mata esp since my current midfield might score points
3) The other option i save a transfer and do 2 next gw and bring in a bale/silva without taking a hit

Thoughts?

    I guess so but he is great at home.
    
    I'm going to keep hold of Tevez for a while, maybe swap for Aguero when I've dealt with other things. I find the Tevez-out mania very strange. Before the season started we were all saying how he and Aguero were first choice and we had to choose between them. Then they played really well together in pre-season and he scored a bit and everyone was like "Tevez all the way". Nothing has changed but everyone wants rid. Odd.

    My gut tells me Mata, he got the form (so has Bale though) but having seen him play in the UCL and against Arsenal he seemed to be involved every time Chelsea attacked. Also, I have horrible memories of capataining Bale a couple of times last season.

  I wouldn't have Torres, especially with Hazard. Ba or Tevez would go nicely there. And yes, Tevez is still an option.
  
  I'd also have Rafael over Vertonghen.

    rafael over vertonghen? hmm. i might say before i believe in rafael. but since spurs is in the best condition i'd like to bet on vertonghen for CS. not to mention newcastle(home)-MU. BA surely will try his best to score.
    
    wouldnt have torres when it is against norwich at home? i doubt that. however i agree with you about tevez. since aguero or dzeko might worn out from last game against dortmund.

      I don't think you should pick a WC team for the immediate GW.
      
      Rafael's cheaper (and more attacking from what I've seen) and he has Hazard and Cole/Ivanovic. No I would not have Torres.
