Maybe I underestimated Granville. Maybe his throwaway comment made at 10.32 on a weary Wednesday evening wasn’t throwaway at all. Maybe Granville is a Fantasy football mind games genius.

Regardless of whether his plan was pre-meditated and devious, it certainly worked as you’ll find out in this, episode ninety of the ScoutCast.

Aside from my sidekick’s scheming, we give dear old Leighton another rinse following his twanged hamstring, tackle the template midfield yet again, check on the market movements in “all aboard” and, of course, look forward to the weekend action.         Just brought Mata last GW only to have him benched so may as well keep for this weekend when he will start. Thinking of dropping him for Michu after that with Enrique coming in for either Neslen, Gorkss or Clyne. Or I could scrap the whole thing and buy Hazard back now that he plays behind the sriker. Thoughts?

        Also tinkering with the idea of swapping Caz for Theo down the line or maybe even Mata to Theo this week and ditching one of the Ars boys later on.

          I was planning on sitting on my transfer this week and next week downgrading Ivan to get money for bale. However for some unknown reason I just made the drastic decision to sell Baines for Enrique.

          Boy do I hope that doesn't come back to bite me.

              Don't have the cash, Yossi. I also don't trust the team I support. Depending on your views, Suarez has either found a new level of performance or he will regress back to his previous level. I believe the latter, which also has implications for the over-hyped Sterling and all L'pool players. I'm sure we'll score some with our good run of fixtures but I am very wary.

              The only Pool players I'd consider are GJ & Jose.

                Interesting viewpoint. I had the latter view and sold Suarez two games after what I thought was a fluke Norwich hattrick. He then basically scored against everyone.

                I do think his conversion has improved, with the explanation being his chances are better now.

                Definitely agree on the baps, but I think they'll probably only keep one cleanie in the four... I'd tend to just go for Mert and spread the risk, or try and stretch the budget to GK if set on the double up...

                  I don't really see it being a risk. Doubled up on Stoke and it worked great. Arsenals fixtures are good on paper but they are against decent attacking sides. Liverpool look pretty tight and Lucas is back.

            He is pretty much the only forward from the top two you can count on to play now. That and united's building around him (Chica is not proving himself as a starter anyway) means you're taking out a steady stream of goals in the future.

          So what's the difference between Suarez this year and last? I held him a couple months too long last year and he scored 11 goals total. Is he being more clinical? Getting more opportunities? Or did I put a curse on him last year like I did with Baines this year? I prefer the last one because it gives me an inflated sense of importance.

                  If you can afford that then well done. I do think there is a lot of value in having Enrique and Sterling for pool cover. It might be enough to not need suarez and its much better value. I do like Ba as well, with HBA back their form will pick up.

                        I don't agree. I do think he's been much improved and the OOPness is obviously a BIG attraction but i still don't think he's very accomplished in the final third. Certainly not enough to say he is bound to be amongst the goals

                Sounds sensible enough. Bale looked pretty decent against Liverpool. At times in the first half hour he looked right back at the top of his game

            Was wondering the same thing and I am bringing in Michu and upgrading a def to Enrique. If Theo does well, will change Caz for him. Even thought of doubling on Ars at but they're too inconsistent.

            I have both Silva & Walcott but Santi is still a great player with brilliant fixtures. I just prefer Theo over him.

              Why is everyone saying Silva? He still has a midweek UCL and quite thought fixtures leading up to the derby. I would get him in after that.

                Not a bad idea that either. Maybe shelve that transfer for now till after the CL. (although they are already knocked out so he should be rested for that one)
