The Paddy Power Cup has reached the Quarter-Final stages and with our final eight now having qualified for the Fantasy Football Scout Shield at the end of the season, they turn their attentions to their next opponent, on the trail of cup glory.

Former Fantasy Premier League leader Iyad Zahlan and his side, Giavara555, was the name that everyone wanted to avoid but it’s MileHigh who gets the “privilege” of that particular match-up. The sure-fire certainty for the televised tie, MileHigh goes into the weekend sitting in 224 position in the world, just 218 spots behind Iyad, and will fancy his chances of a giant-killing, having enjoyed another climb in Gameweek 19.

JMS was the other high ranked manager in the draw. Now sitting 149th in the world, he will face Mr.KK in last eight, with “ange1range1” taking on “Ricky Smokes lets go” and “Wild Rover” facing “Tommy Tynans Left Shin Pad” in a stormy community head-to-head battle.

All ties will be played out over Gameweek 20 this weekend. Good luck to all involved.

    Good gameweek, up to 22,000th, my highest position yet. However, I’ve got a few stokes in the fire and don’t know how to handle them. Never have I needed advice more than now!

    Begovic, Jaaskelainen – these two are fine
    Baines*, Hughes*, Cuellar, Mertesacker, Nelsen
    Silva*, Mata, Michu, Sterling*, Puncheon
    van Persie, Suarez, Berbatov

    2FT and 0.1 in the bank.

    Baines or Hughes out would be my priority. I’m more inclined to leave Baines in there for his forthcoming positive fixtures, there’s no way they can keep conceding goals and he’ll definite bring in some attacking returns soon. Hughes has been dropped so he’s a bigger issue.

        It's the Bale, Mata, Silva, Cazorla roulette.

        I think Bale and Mata are the ones capable of scoring most goals, thus I'm most likely to go with them.

        Everything Tottenham do goes through Bale, similar with Mata at Chelsea. I think Cazorla and Silva tends to assist the assister a lot more.

    Yay or nay? Fletch's next 2 aren't great but his 3 after that are. Benteke's next 3 are great but I'm unsure about his form. Looked rubbish past 2 games.

      I'd either keep Fletcher or look for alternative options. Both are mainstays of poor attacking sides, so you'd be looking to get somebody in from a side who score more goals.

      IMO that is the best midfield you can have as you can have balance elsewhere. I'd be inclined to downgrade one of your defenders and get Suarez though.
