FFS Paddy Power Cup – Quarter Final Draw

The Paddy Power Cup has reached the Quarter-Final stages and with our final eight now having qualified for the Fantasy Football Scout Shield at the end of the season, they turn their attentions to their next opponent, on the trail of cup glory.

Former Fantasy Premier League leader Iyad Zahlan and his side, Giavara555, was the name that everyone wanted to avoid but it’s MileHigh who gets the “privilege” of that particular match-up. The sure-fire certainty for the televised tie, MileHigh goes into the weekend sitting in 224 position in the world, just 218 spots behind Iyad, and will fancy his chances of a giant-killing, having enjoyed another climb in Gameweek 19.

JMS was the other high ranked manager in the draw. Now sitting 149th in the world, he will face Mr.KK in last eight, with “ange1range1” taking on “Ricky Smokes lets go” and “Wild Rover” facing “Tommy Tynans Left Shin Pad” in a stormy community head-to-head battle.

All ties will be played out over Gameweek 20 this weekend. Good luck to all involved.

1ange1range1Vs.Ricky Smokes lets go

3Wild roverVs.Tommy Tynans Left Shin Pad

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    am actually thinking of bringing Guthrie in on my wc at 4.1. Not because I think he offers anything in the way of returns but simply because the rest of my front 8 would be

    Mata, Bale, Michu, Fellaini

    RvP, Berba, Ba/AN Other. Might as well just get the cheapest possible mid in the last slot as you're not realistically gonna bench any of those options. If they get injured you sell, if they get suspended you play him or go 4-3-3

      Pretty sound. Guess that's how Ferguson worked last year. Only risk is Guthrie actually plays so there's the risk of a 1/2 pointer if one of your mids doesn't show up.

      Could go even cheaper then!

    Michu Sterling Mata Cazorla
    RVP Tevez Berbatov

    Federici Puncheon Clyne Davies

    1 FT, 0.1 in the bank.

    Would it be madness to do
    Tevez -> C.Cole
    Sterling -> Bale
    (-4)

    That`s basically the only way to get Bale because I don`t want to lose any other player. City have been poor and Tevez might get rotated/benched anyway.

    Cole has rdg/NOR/sun and after that DGW (QPR ars). I will play my WC after the DGW so can get rid then...

    Good evening everyone. Hope everyone is recovering well from their Holiday hangovers 😀

    I'm thinking of doing a series of 4 point hits over the next 2 weeks in preperation for the DGW.

    This week: Michu and Torres OUT ➡ Cazorla and Hernandez IN

    Next week: Sterling and Enrique OUT ➡ Walcott and O'Brien IN

    Thoughts? I'd end up with a midfield of Mata - Silva - Bale - Cazorla - Walcott and have RVP up front with two rotating cheapies until the WC (Benteke and Hernandez). My team is linked 🙂
