Having indulged in the numbers behind the top ten individuals in Defence and Midfield, we end our series of articles for members by examining the top performers over the Christmas period amongst the forwards.
Just as Steven Gerrard dominated in the midfielders bracket over the Christmas period, Luis Suarez reigned supreme amongst the strikers. With five goals and two assists making him the most profitable forward on show, surpassing even Robin Van Persie’s FPL returns in the same window.

Fulham rotate pretty well H/A with SOT (Lambert), so you might think about a cheapy like Sidwell and save the cash to bolster your defense.
God it's frustrating having to read pages of RMT's hoping to find opinion on my own dilemmas as I can't ask myself due to cup opponent lurking... 😐

Cheers, yeah will be getting rid of some of the defence after this and next week, just have luiz in for the DGW, getting rid of johnson with wildcard.
Don't want to get rid of Suarez for RVP, and don't really see RVP being worth the extra 4 mil as stupid as it sounds, have done without him this year pretty much and am not doing too shabby at the moment

Thoughts on going without Van Persie for the next 2 games (LIV, tot), then getting him in for Southampton at Old Trafford?
Would allow someone to play 4 games against Van Persie's 2 (say Ba this week, Podolski next).

If you can still afford him then Ba is a good idea, not sure 2 x Pod is better than RVP though.
Don't have him now. Sold him at 13.7m and made a 0.3m profit, so would be losing 0.7 - 0.8m to get him back in.

I know it will be slightly different for each person but generally which strategy are people going with:
A. Taking hits to get in dgw players for both weeks and then playing the wc after that to set the team up for the rest of the season.
B. Playing the wc now to get in as many dgw players as possible and then using transfers to get out dgw players and get in players for the rest of the season.
