The Big Numbers – Gameweek 27

Filed under: Members - Posted by: Mark

With tomorrow night’s Upton Park clash to come, our ICT Index rankings are currently dominated by two Spanish playmakers as both Santi Cazorla and David Silva lead the way off the back of their match-winning contributions. With two-goal strikers Romelu Lukaku and Arouna Kone also pressing for recognition, our rankings reflect a Gameweek where the differential came good, leaving established Fantasy favourites falling short.

Our members can examine the numbers behind the Gameweek in full via the members area tables and match dashboards and, as always, we’ve picked out a selection of stats that have caught our eye…

  1. Hey Scouters. My team so far for GW 28.....

    Huth - Dawson - Davies

    Walcott - Michu - Mata - Bale

    Lambert - RVP - Suarez

    Bench: Puncheon, R.Martin, Mariappa

    a) Bench RVP?
    b) RVP>Aguero/Cisse/Sturridge?
    c) Do Nothing/Other?

    All Advice Always Appreciated....

  4. hello mates, just a small issue ,hope you guys will help me out.

currently i have rvp, rooney in my line up but given man utd involvment in 3 comptt i want to swap rvp wiht either of SUAREZ/AGUERO. who will be a better pick amon the 2 .

or should i wait for man utd gameweek 29 fixture to be confirmed ?

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
    1. Id wait for it to be confirmed but would go with Aguero that week. Even though I'm still not convinced by his stats to date

      • 2 years, 6 days ago
      1. but aguero too has a blank gameweek 29

        • 2 years, 6 days ago
        1. But could potentially score big against Villa.

Cisse is worth a look I reckon

          • 2 years, 6 days ago
          1. i've lambert since gameweek 1 ,third striker has never been a problem . when will man utd and man city gamweek 29 matches will be confirmed ?

            • 2 years, 6 days ago
    2. Dunno....both are playing well although Aguero is still firing too many blanks...but he looked good again yesterday...

      • 2 years, 6 days ago
    2. Lambert, I've got a gut feeling Wigan are going to go on one of their streaks like last season

      • 2 years, 6 days ago
    3. Lambert scores 11 in GW 27, get him.

      • 2 years, 6 days ago
    4. Since you have Sturridge already, and we haven't seen Sturr and Suarez enough matches playing together to see which one is the better option for Liverpool.
      And because of Lambert's consistency.
And because of playing at home
And saves you a lot of money :-)

      • 2 years, 6 days ago
      1. Conclusion: Lambert

        • 2 years, 6 days ago
    5. I have Suarez and Lambert for a while now and it's been in a word, fantastic. I'd strongly recommend both.

As for this weekend, I'd take Lambert. Wigan are in their annual time to start playing mode.....

  6. De Guzman is a _____________

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
    1. Good penalty taker

      • 2 years, 6 days ago
    2. I dont think Nathan Dyer posts on here....

    3. two-goal Swansea hero.

      • 2 years, 6 days ago
      1. This.

Don't see why he should have to give Dyer the spot-kick. He won the penalty didn't he?

I thought it was unprofessional from Dyer. Once De Guzman said no, he should have walked away.

        • 2 years, 6 days ago
        1. Maybe but De Guzman should have offered him the penalty

          • 2 years, 6 days ago
  7. What to do???
    A. Felliani -> Sissko, Ruiz -> Lambert -4
    B. Hughes -> Wilson
    C. Save Transfer

2 red arrows, dropped to 17k

    0.9 in bank

    Bego Bunn
    Hughes Demel Monreal Clyne Davies
    Walcott Mata Michu Felliani Bale
    Rvp Sturridge Ruiz

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
  8. Dawson and Bale(c) to save my gw. Or not.

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
  9. Marveaux to Kebe or McAnuff this week?

Not a ground breaking transfer but need a fifth mf that plays. Would go Maloney but the blank is putting me off

Or are there other options I'm missing?

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
  10. Rebeldogg has gone 'Turbo'

A score of -56 in the bundesliga

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
  11. The best laid plans of mice and men......

Anyway, RVP is almost certain not to play at the weekend? There's no way AF will risk him at home to Norwich.

So I have a dilemma, replace him with a bench player or take a hit to bring in someone else. I was thinking Rooney. I'll have the funds to get RVP back.

I'm over 100 points ahead in my league, but I want to finish in the top 10K overall and in the top 1K in Ireland.

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
    1. That must be a very wack league, if its leader is outside the top 10,000...

      • 2 years, 6 days ago
  12. when will man utd and man city gameweek 29 matches will be confirmed ?

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
  13. What's Puncheon's position under the new manager?

Was yesterday just a rest or is he in and out of the side now?

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
  14. No doubt that Newcastle will be an impressive unit going forward bu from a fantasy perspective, it's hard to pick on player.

Cisse, Sissoko, Cababye and eventually HBA will all be in the hat when it comes to picking someone, but I have a feeling that all the points will be shared among the whole attack.

    • 2 years, 6 days ago
    1. Also potentially add Gouffran to that list.

      • 2 years, 6 days ago
      1. Then take him off when I realise he's £7m and classed as a striker

        • 2 years, 6 days ago
  15. This guy behind Lukaku looks like he has Down syndrome...

“Last year was quite open for me, I was in good positions, but I was quite lucky because I was getting free kicks and some penalties as well.”
