One man’s personal battle to mastermind his beloved Fantasy Football team through extreme adversity steals the show in this week’s episode of the ScoutCast – and we’re not talking about Granville struggling with his BAFTA award-winning hangover.

Episode 99 has all the usual ingredients as we look back on Gamweek 28, rinse through the Gameweek 29 options, pop in to disturb the Professor and his Rate My Team computer, analyse the transfer ins and outs and, of course, give another community member the “Fully Jonty” treatment.

Jonty delivers a heart-warming and rather humbling account this week, emphasising just how far the dedicated Fantasy manager will go to steer his ship. Postponing your bedbath to play your Wildcard? You better believe it.

I was born in an igloo in a country called Iceland, or more commonly known as Canadia.
As a child, I partook in a wide variety of sports including ice hockey, ice skating, doing ice and curling.
My best friend was a penguin. He was a nice guy. I loved everything aboot him, eh.
My favourite band is Simple Plan and my favourite singer is Justin Beaver.
Nowadays, I’m a full-time professional FPL player. Although my rank clearly states that I am ranked 1820th, I believe that I am the best in the world at FPL.

Yeah they should be allowed to do the first part but not the second bit i.e. get away with it. The press can report whatever they want, even if it is a blatant attempt to derail the club and upset the camp. What I don’t like is that the club and Sir Alex are the bad guys when they show these liars the door and essentially tell them to go f*$k themselves.

Both are within their rights to take the action they did IMO.

Just starting to look at my transfers this week, planning to get a midfielder in (I only have 2 available as it stands) but there’s such a paucity of options I’m really struggling to see who’s worth using a transfer on. Michu (Swansea don’t score away and West Brom are tight at home), Snodgrass? N’Zogbia? Sessegnon? Taarabt? Meh. :?

struggling with my FT’s so need some advise

    bunn (ddg)
davies cueller harte — onouha baines —
michu bale wally — maloney fellaini —
    rvp sturridge benteke

Planning to take out a mid + def (fellaini/maloney/onouha/baines) >> xxx + xxx but not sure which mid and def to take out. I really want mata for gw30 onwards. Which combo do you prefer

    A: any def upto 6.4 + onouha + sissoko + mata
    B: baines + wilson + maloney + sissoko (then sissoko > mata in gw30)
    C: debuchy + onouha + fellaini + sissoko (then sissoko > mata in gw30)
    D: baines + wilson + maloney + sissoko (then sturridge >suarez in gw30)

If mostly planning on playing a 3-4-3 (Like most of us are I assume), is there really any decent 5th mids left in the game that haven’t gone way up in price or aren’t just 2 pointer players?

Have previously had a got rid of Sterling and Puncheon and am now stuck with Guthrie and it doesn’t seem there’s anybody worth replacing him with!
