The Fantasy Football Scout Leagues – Round Up

This season we are running leagues across the Fantasy Premier League (FPL), Sky Sports and Sun Dream Team games as well as a link up with PlayON. In our first Fantasy Football Scout league round up, we profile those with plenty to cheer about and take a look at our own contributors and moderators league.

Fantasy Premier League

With a momentous score of 131 Stumanchu tops the Fantasy Football Scout FPL league and lies seventh overall. His decision to captain Christian Benteke proved crucial to his mammoth Gameweek, which included five other double digit players, such as Frank Lampard and Seamus Coleman. Stumanchu is just three points off the highest point score of the week, achieved by three managers who share joint first overall. Second place in the Fantasy Football Scout FPL league goes jointly to MS and Jennifer Lenharth, who both have a score of 122. Thanks to their exploits the Fantasy Football Scout league currently tops FPL’s league of leagues. The code to join our FPL league is 1580-1106.

Topping our FPL FFS Members league is Ian Randolph, who, like Stumanchu, also captained Benteke. He achieved 114 points in the first Gameweek  and is closely followed by Tom Dennerly, Kevin Folks, Mat Martin, Sam Gillespie and Ivan Heneghan, who are all on 113 points and share second place.

With the introduction of HomeCrowd and a team of moderators our newly named Contributors and Moderators league in the FPL game is now 20-strong and tougher than ever. Mark is bossing the new league in first place from under his Robin Van Persie duvet cover, with a score of 103 points in Gameweek 1. Last year’s contributors league victor Andy is excelling again. His RVP-less team is in second with a score of 94, while Torres Magic is flying the flag for our moderator team, with a score of 88 points earning him a third place ranking.

Sky Sports Fantasy Football

Leanne Dean tops our Sky Sports Fantasy Football league and is in 12th position overall with an eye popping score of  228. A closer look at her team reveals that it comes at a cost. With eight Chelsea and three Aston Villa players she is looking at making 11 substitutions in Gameweek 3 as all have a blank due to Chelsea’s Supercup commitments. In second place, with a score of 204 is Josie O’Neil, while Mary Humberstone is in third.

Once again, Fantasy Football Scout’s league also tops the Sky Sports game’s league of leagues – the winner of our Sky Sports league wins £1,000. To join, visit Sky Sports Fantasy Football and key in League Name: FFScout, League Code: 8000112.

The Sun Dream Team

There is also £1,000 prize for the winner of our Sun Dream Team league which, after one week, is topped by Charles Mouzon, who has 122 points thanks largely to 21 pt hero Roberto Soldado, who scored a brace while on Europa league action for Tottenham on Thursday. Charles is clearly a manager to watch, having briefly topped the FPL game last season. Nigel Dodds sits in second on 121 points after picking his entire defence from Tottenham. Third place goes to btrenden Sweeney, who has 118 points.

The Fantasy Football Scout League is currently sixth in the Sun’s league of leagues; a great start for our community across the games.  To join visit  The Sun Dream Team, league name: Fantasy Football Scout, password: ReWOZhn1T1 and PIN: 8061654.

The PlayON £2 Game

The Fantasy Football Scout PlayON £2 Game proved lucrative for Richard Matthews who scooped £243 and first place thanks largely to his selection of Van Persie, Joe Cole and David Silva. Second placed Nick Patrick won £162 with Van Persie and Benteke proving to be his star men. Third placed Matty Bellism, whose players included Roberto Soldado, won £96.39.

    Hi Peops

First time post but have been dipping in and out of the site for a year. Wondered if anybody has any thoughts on my team. Constructive comments most welcome. Had to WC as due to last minute tinkering, I had a disappointing first week, and I can never resist knee-jerk overhalls when doing badly!

    Mignolet
    Shaw Zabaleta Coleman
    Coutinho Mirallas Silva R. Morrison
    Soldado Benteke Aguero

    Lewis Whittaker Ward Jedinak

3.0 mmil in bank for possible RVP upgrade from Aguero

I know I have a couple of risky ones in there (Morrison, Whittaker ) but Hoping Morrison gets his chance and didn't want to miss the price rise on Whittaker.

Thinking about downgrading Migs to Boric to free up cash in case I need the extra 0.5 for Walcott and use 0.5 to upgrade Jedinak to a 5.0 mid like Whittingham.

    Cheers guys

Is Silva actually a safer captain choice than Soldado or Dzeko?
