It's pretty clear he does not like the Spanish. He even refused to give press conferences in Spanish initially at Real claiming he doesn't speak the language fluently. Guess what, he was a translator at Barcelona...No wonder he had so many conflicts with the Spanish players at Madrid, he never really favored any of them - Ramos, Cassilas, even Alonso had issues with him.
