As Tottenham’s momentum under Tim Sherwood continues to build, two of their first-team have emerged as leading contenders for our Fantasy attention. Since the departure of Andre Villas-Boas, Emmanuel Adebayor has played a part in six (three goals and three assists) of Spurs’ 11 goals over five matches, whilst Christian Eriksen has chipped in with three goals and an assist.

With 36 points apiece in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game, many wildcard drafts currently include one of the duo in light of Sherwood’s penchant for attacking football. Both are still very favourably priced, with Adebayor slightly more expensive at 7.8 to 7.3 and, as interest intensifies, we cast an eye over the pair’s recent displays and also compare them to other options in their respective classifications.

      It's very good although I'd be a bit worried at your 3 cheapies, could end up with only 0 or 1 of those before you know it. Also don't like 1 GK with FA Cup 6th round going to cause postponements sooner or later.

    Hey Chaps. I just need to decide between Ward and Azpilacueta.

    My midfield is going to be inflexible, so keeping cash could be key. It looks a cheap midfield, but statistically a bargain.

    I have also ensured that I can do Wilshere>Ramsey with both plans.

        I've had him since my GW3 wildcard and love the guy... Just wondering if the option to go 4-3-3 and 3-4-3 would be a nice differential. But is it worth keeping just 0.7mill on the side when my midfield has two 'weak links.'

        I could also cause myself a selection nightmare.

    I can still afford this WC team, but only 0.2 price margin:

    B) Boruc - Mannone
    Coleman - Ward - Sagna - Zaba - Chester
    Puncheon - Özil - Silva - Pozuela - Hazard
    Suarez - Aguero - Giroud

    If I wait and lose that margin (Aguero up, Luka down), I can safely still do this for GW 23 or GW24:

      If this story about Tom Ince going to Monaco is true...disastrous move in terms of his development.

      They won't play him - will just pay minimal compensation for him and then sell him for £5m in six or twelve months time.

          Ox has been unlucky with injuries.

          The thing that annoys me with Moses is he would almost certainly have been given more chances if he had "stayed English", so to speak. Played for all the England youth teams then switched allegiance at the first opportunity to play senior international football.

          There's a premium on English talent and a lot more pressure to give them game time. He'd have got into the England squad long ago.

        Pozuelo's a good choice, Gnabry's a favourite around here, but I think he'll only last a couple of games before Arsene drops him. Ki's also a good choice, he's the one I'd go for with 4.8m.

        If you will not need him to play in the next few weeks don't get Pozuelo. He will be dropped when the regular mids are back. Best choice is Ki, and if you want to save some cash for a guaranteed 2 points when needed get Parker.
