The title summons up imagery of Granville straddling me at the Potter’s wheel, lovingly helping to craft a clay creation as we unite to sculpt out a Van Persie bust – in true Lionel Ritchie’s “Hello” style.

That’s probably lost approximately half of our potential audience who are too young to recall the analogy. The other half are likely to be repelled by the image of Granville and I caught in a Swayze/Moore-like clinch.

Bugger this. No hits. Still to many variables(Citeh striker injury/rotation and DGW scenarios) and Mata can wait. I can't see myself slapping the armband on him or any other milf in any case.

I've been looking at the FA Cup fixtures and the Premiership fixtures that will have to be moved depending on results.
I’ve assigned the % chance of each premiership team winning – let’s not argue over random 5%’s!

Fulham (70%) vs Sheffield United
Sunderland (50%) vs Southampton (50%)
Cardiff (70%) vs Wigan
Man City (60%) vs Chelsea (40%)
Everton (65%) vs Swansea (35%)
Arsenal (55%) vs Liverpool (45%)
Brighton vs Hull (50%)

Using these %’s here are the fixtures for week 29 with how likely they are to be on:
WBA vs MUN 100%
NOR vs STO 100%
CHE vs TOT 60%
CPL vs SOU 50%
WHM vs HUL 50%
MCI vs AVL 40%
NEW vs EVE 35%
ARS vs SWA 30%
LIV vs SUN 28%
CAR vs FUL 9%

In the worst case scenario we could have only four games being played.
One of Chelsea and Tottenham will have a fixture.
It is possible that the only other game to be played in week 29 would be either CPL vs SOU or NEW vs EVE.
I thought my Boruc/Mannone rotation meant I was safe in week 29 but if Southampton and Liverpool win (23% chance) then I end up with no keeper – and barely any outfield players!

We'll have two gameweeks to plan once we know the results (assuming no replays) but with no MCI, MUN, SUN or WBA the week before this is going to be tough!

    So Brom Utd Sto and Nor are definitely playing GW29. This if you understand will increase your chances of making some points on rivals in GW29. 15-20 points easy.
    
    If you can bench 3 utd in 28 then you have 3 Utd playing in 29. Away to Brom.
    
    Also makes Snoddy attractive to an extent. Nor cheap defender is a must. Wham keeper also looks good.

      Interesting stuff. Already played my Jan WC but have the first one saved - you reckon it's worth planning to play the first one for GW28 (with enough players in the squad to ensure 11 get out in GW29)? May not get a better opportunity.....

  I'm trying to move around on my budget so that I can have Puncheon and Johnson for two GWs, then downgrade Johnson to a Cardiff mid of my choice (once I know more how they'll be lining up), and rotate CPL/CAR.

Are Yoshida and Mariappa worth it if you just want to squeeze out that extra cash over Clyne/Shaw and Ward/Gabbidon?

They seem to have no attacking fibres in their body whatsoever though. I would like to go Ward, can't really see Hooiveld challenging for the CB spot so Yoshida should play for the next 5-6 weeks I guess.

      Comparison tool actually just helped me out here.
      Delaney actually bosses around with Mariappa and Gabiddon when it comes to goal threat, but Ward is an even better choice after that considering his OOP. Think'll be worth the extra investment.

So i'm going to try helping the wild carders. Understanding the scenarios now. If you plan this could benefit you.

GW28

Definite blanks

Man Utd
Man City
Wbrom
Sunderland

GW29

% chances of teams playing
WBA vs MUN 100%
NOR vs STO 100%
CHE vs TOT 60%
CPL vs SOU 50%
WHM vs HUL 50%
MCI vs AVL 40%
NEW vs EVE 35%
ARS vs SWA 30%
LIV vs SUN 28%
CAR vs FUL 9%

So if you load up on 3 Utd that you will bench in GW29 it is a viable strategy if you avoid the very low % teams.

West Brom have a blank in 28 so avoid them.
Stoke have Arsenal away in 28 so avoid them.

Nor have good fixtures GW28 and 29 so definitely have a Nor cheap defender.
And a cheap NOR 5th mid now makes so much sense.
Puncheon makes sense too since their odds to play are relatively higher.

      Utd don't have bad fixtures though. And City defence. Pass. Midfield one of Yaya/Silva. And that striker. I'll just gamble on that striker. Except Yaya there is no nailed on player. City have their positives, but negatives as well.

Hmmmm, tempted to get Adebayor as my Aguero replacement over the next four... He's returned 13, 8 and 13 in his last three away games, and Spurs have three juicy away fixtures in the next four...

Benteke is probably my second choice ATM.

Have Silva and Yaya so not too fussed about a City striker, with uncertainty around who'll get the starts, the blank in GW28 etc.

RVP and Rooney are also options, but RVP's pricey, and not sure about Rooney with Mata and RVP hogging set pieces.

Thoughts?

      Rooney. Persie equals too many compromises on my team. Also the odds are the reasons making me go Eriksen and Lallana over Mirallas and AJ.

  From what I've heard, he was more or less back to his old self in the derby. The fact he got an assist supports this, suggesting he's getting more involved in the attacking play.
  
  Definitely worth a punt, although I'm leaning towards Ade at the moment, mostly due to fxtures (both in decent form)

Who do you reckon i should get in to replace aguero? Going w/o man city cover the coming gws is a big worry for me, can easily to aguero to rvp too

  Get Rooney and bank the rest of the cash. Or get a City forward(hard to know who is nailed on though).
  I would get a dependable forward because Bony will fail sometimes.
