Suspensions

Suspension Tightrope – Serene

Gameweek 32 proved to be a remarkably calm affair, with not a single player sent off over the 10 fixtures. In addition, none of those at the top of the Suspension Tightrope toppled either, though five players remain just a single yellow card away from an automatic two-match ban:

The quintet in question are Steven Gerrard, Ramires, Gareth Barry, Phil Bardsley and Mathieu Flamini. Gerrard is obviously the biggest worry for Fantasy managers and Brendan Rodgers handled his skipper with care last weekend – with his side 3-0 up and cruising at home to Tottenham, Rodgers replaced his captain with 20 minutes still remaining in light of an upcoming schedule which see the Merseysiders face fellow title challengers City and Chelsea in the next four.

The extension deadline is the second Sunday (13th) in April, meaning Gerrard has to avoid a booking against West Ham and City in order to remain free of suspension. Bardsley and Barry also have two games apiece, though Flamini has just one to navigate – the reason being is that Arsenal’s Gameweek 34 clash with West Ham doesn’t take place until Tuesday 15 April.

Ramires also has a single match to avoid picking up a booking. He is currently set to serve the last of a three-match ban against Stoke this weekend before returning to action in time for the Gameweek 34 clash with Swansea – pick up a yellow in that one and he’s immediately back on the sidelines.

Four players return from suspension this week. Fernando Amorebieta, Jon Walters, Jonas Olsson and George Boyd are now available for selection once again. Marouane Fellaini also remains suspension-free. The FA have reviewed an alleged spitting incident in last week’s Manchester derby but have cleared the United midfielder of any wrongdoing.

I think there is a very good chance of at least one of Clean sheet if not two and if the scores remain low then all three have a great chance for BPS. And Baines and Coleman are also goal threats so there is a possibility of picking up some points there too.

Ribéry and Müller countered with 2 against fecking 6. You can't just put passes behind a defence that is sitting in front of its goal. It's awfully annoying that people don't get it that it is the team that refuses to attack that makes the game boring.

Funnily enough, Mourinho said the same about Arsenal when he came to defend a 0-0 at Emirates. Bayern is at least able to break the bus.

Only one team wants to play. The other one wants the game to end as soon as possible. Bayern is playing beautifully. The reason they pass it around is that ManU is sitting in defence and not willing to come out and play. They need to stretch that defence to make some space there. It's Moyes who needs to grow a pair, managing one of the biggest, richest clubs in world and is scared to go out to play the game.

Arsenal actually had them shaking until Ozil missed the penalty. That game was actually entertaining to watch. Tonight Rooney is about as attacking as Neuner. Parking the bus from the first minute when playing at home is poor.

This is also one thing. Both Arsenal and City have gone to attack against Bayern. That can be done, if you just find your manhood. But ManU is playing like a young girl protecting her chastity.

You don't need to go all out attack against Bayern. Just don't fecking say that it's Guardiola lacking balls when he's the one playing active, aggressive, attacking football, and Moyes who cowardishly keeps his team in his own half.
