Disastrous. 78 points all in. ML rival had 115 points and now leads me by 2 points. Gutted.

    My injury issues are.
    Rooney
    Kun
    Rambo
    Jones

I'm right in thinking no chance on GW38 for Jones & Rooney aren't i?

    What about Kun and Rambo?

The hits will destroy me this week I fear

Rooney has a 2% chance of playing IMHO
      Kun - 5%
      Rambo - 25%
      Jones - really don't know

pisses me right off that cheap, inconsistent Dzeko has been cleaning up with the infinitely more talented (and on spot kick duty) Kun Aguero gomes in and out of the lineup for a few minutes to ruin gameweeks.

    Options:

    1) Rooney + Aguero > Dzeko + Sturridge (Puncheon plays if Ramsey unfit) (-4)
    2) Rooney + Ramsey > Dzeko + Gerrard (-4)
    3) Rooney + Ramsey + Aguero > Dzeko + Aguero + Gerrard (-8)

Not got enough gametime to show how under-rated he is or he's so under-rated he didn't get enough time. Either way it's a good call, a class act, great team player.

Going into the final gameweek of my first full FPL season I'm:
    - ranked 40k
    - 1st in 3 of my MLs (leading by 20, 57 and 3), 2nd in a 4th trailing by 42 and 3rd in the last trailing 1st by 22
    - can still put together a solid XI without a hit

Will obviously look back on the season with a fair number of regrets, but I also learned quite a bit.

    Roll on 14/15!

Rival turned a 4pt lead to 38pts this DGW. Absolutely gutted.

Means nothing to you all but it makes me feel better to write it down and wallow. Absolutely zero chance of making up a 40pt difference with one week left.

As with most of you it appears, I had a horrible gameweek. I am now just 2 points ahead in my ML.

    My team:
    Mannone
    Zab - Azpi - Ward - Alonso - Bennett
    Mata - Yaya - Ramsey - Sterling - Noone
    Suarez - Rooney - Aguero

    Rival:
    Mannone - Howard
    Demi - Kos - Zab - Shaw - Azpi
    Sterling - Yaya - Gerrard - Lallana - Sidwell
    Pod - Suarez - Naismith

I feel his team is more than 2 points better than mine currently, so feel hits will be needed?
Doubt I even have a full starting 11 atm :/ thoughts?

      Learnings for next year:

      1) Get on the band wagons early ... don't let pride get in the way of a sensible transfer (Yaya, Ramsey, etc.)

      2) Continue to make own decisions; advice is great but gut feel and an educated decision delivers best results.

      3) Manchester United are to never be trusted again

      4) Hits can work

Nah. I think you need to adapt to the trends of the game.

Some here say bandwagons were a success this year.
Man utd under a new management could be trusted esp if a character like van Gaal would be appointed.
One of the trends this year is taking hits.

So it's either you adapt or perish.

All about #4. I took hits, lots of them. Too many people see them as serious penalties, the secret is to see them as a 4pt strategic move. A clean sheet or a single goal can net you a 2pt profit.

32 pt lead to win my league and a nice pot. Going to take another hit!

What a disappointing DGW. Rivals were 10pts ahead I had the more DGW players so thinking of claiming the 2nd spot for the country league is more possible then. Games rolled on, injuries popped up, some are rested and at the end of the GW rivals puts a 40pt gap just to claim 2nd and I now sit on 5th.

Last GW to catapult and claim 2nd. I think I'll go for a punt with transfers and captaincy .
It's "win or bust" transfers time.

    Rant over.

Bad luck - I turned down Rooney - Dzeko this week in favour of Delaney - Kompany. To make things worse I forgot to updated changes and he was stranded 3rd on my bench. Luckily backing Sunderland and Yaya for the DGWs pulled me through this and other mistakes.

Going into the final GW with a disappointing rank of 26k, 7m in the bank and this team:

    Mannone
    Zabaleta Ivanovic Koscielny
    Nasri Ramsey Mata AJ
    Dzeko (c) Suarez Sturridge

-4, with Ward coming in for Ramsay if he doesn't play. Will risk it with Dzeko (c) and hope for a miraculous GW that would get me top 10k. I know it's kind of impossible, but I can at least hope...

    Aguero->Borini
    Rooney->Jelavic

How does it sound? Jelavic against his former club would be interesting?

Am I right in thinking that other than city and Liverpool the only other 2 teams with anything to play for are spurs and Man U who will both desperately trying to avoid Europa league?

Yep. I got a feeling the sot-utd game would be a high scoring one with united to lose.
Both teams are trying hard to miss out Europa.

Here's a guy in my minileague - just outside top 50k and 18 transfers this season (last one in GW 25). In fact, his ranking is roughly where it was when he stopped managing his team 13 weeks ago. Wisely ignored Man U this week. There must be other passive teams with good ranks?

Who's been your favourite player this season? Close between Mannone and Hazard for me.

Enjoyed Ramsey early on, Hazard for the most part ... and just when you think about getting rid of Coleman he'd pop up with a goal or CS.

Almost every defenders I have owned have been my fav which include Baines, Ivan, Cahill, Alonso, Cech
In attack, not many were exciting prospect to own but Yaya/Ozil/Oscar are my fav
