The ScoutCast – Episode 205 – Pact

Turn down the lights and join hands. If we’re actually going to sell a fit Sergio Aguero, we’re doing this together. If we go down, we go down together.

With 31 goals in his last 33 Premier League starts, the fear attached to shedding the Manchester City is so great, we all need support before we can commit to packing his bags.

And so, a pact is drawn up in this week’s ScoutCast, as Granville, Jonty, Andy and myself swear to approach the current dilemma unified and as one.

Let’s see if we can actually go through with it.

Aguero and the Harry Kane alternative dominate much of this week’s discussion.

However, we still find time to sample your Gameweeks in “Rough with the Smooth” and tackle some of your other topics raised, including Gylfi Sigurdsson’s rising star, looming rotation risks, while also offering our views on how struggling managers can find motivation for the rest of the season.

The four of us can certainly offer a wealth of experience on that particular subject.

This episode of the ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Tuesday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

      Why get rid of Pedro?

Keep Pedro would be my advice.

Of the 2, Siggy is safer, Theo has a higher ceiling with an element of risk.

I would keep, but if you really want to do it i'd go Siggy.

Already got Hazard, so feel the need to spread my midfield a bit, especially as I already have Coutinho and Firmino double up.

Not keen on Capoue, Arni + Gundogan, but it'd be easier to sort them out next GW with two FTs. Line up doesn't look too bad for this weekend, so I reckon save the transfer.

    Any replies appreciated!

    A. Arnautovic to Pedro (-4) this would make him my third Chelsea player and i dont own Costa.
    B. Arnautovic to Firmino (-8) would mean downgrading Walker. Already have Cout.
    C. Walk away from the keyboard!

Who would you pick as the best 5.3 def?

    1. Wilshere Knowledge
      • 10 Years

      Cedric or Watford full backs.

Maybe Cresswell from in a couple weeks.

Na, Bellerin not out for long enough, Debuchy played for the U23's last week, and I'd even be tempted to play Coq at right back ahead of him.

Best case scenario is a couple of 6's before Hector is back, so not worth the risk or the transfers, imo.

From the Man United match last night:

    Vintage Rooney - https://my.mixtape.moe/hbenjj.mp4

Some nice pressing and a good team goal for Mata - https://my.mixtape.moe/atzpcj.mp4

I think that's the ideal front 6 for United. Mkh must start in the Prem now, the boy is fire.

Getting Chadli in before his good run of fixtures was supposed to be smart, but turned out to be a massive balls up since he blanked in the two tricky games I got him in before, then was injured before his nicer run. To top it all off, it seems he's still a doubt this weekend.

    a) Chadli ➡ anyone 7.0 below for free

    b) Chadli + Walcott ➡ Snodgrass/Phillips + Firmino -4 (already have (C)outinho)

    c) Save transfer

I've lost 0.2 value on the git, too.

Reason I'm considering selling is because there's no guarantee he'll play this weekend and after that, their good run of fixtures is almost over. What a waste of space he's been..!

Erm, you have too much cash in defence so hard to improve attack without hits. Stick I think
