Dugout Discussion

Dugout Discussion – Swansea City vs Leicester City

After goals from Pedro and Robbie Brady saw the spoils shared at Turf Moor, we make our way to the Liberty as Swansea seek to build momentum under Paul Clement.

Gylfi Sigurdsson is the focal point in the 4pm kick-off, with the playmaker looking to score for the fourth successive Gameweek, having netted against Liverpool, Southampton and Man City in each of his previous league outings.

With a pair of assists also accrued over the last five, the Icelandic international was the most transferred in player for Gameweek 25, with 229,000+ new owners snapping up his services.

Given that the hosts are currently one of just six sides set to play in both Gameweek 26 and 28, the likes of Fernando Llorente and Alfie Mawson could also play their way into our short-term plans.

Leicester, meanwhile, have struggled for form at either end of the pitch. With one goal in seven and a single clean sheet away from home all season, Claudio Ranieri’s men have done little to persuade us they are worthy of investment right now.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

No surprise that the run-of-the-mill (C) obvious choice destroys the more punty Siggy (C) this week with a handball goal and a pen.

    That's FPL 16/17.

Huge surpise that one of the best players and highest scorers in the league, playing for one of the best teams in the league, scored well at home against one of the worst.

It's the nature of how the score came given the circumstances. You're right of course in that he's a great player.

Fair enough and yes it was jammy. I always try to keep it simple with the captaincy, every time I try to be clever with it it's a disaster!

      Im fairly happy!
Missed out on 4 points only by keeping spurs mid so not too bad, plus if i did get him in i would've been tempted to captain & not do sanchez.
More annoyed about not doing amat to mawson, i thought about it but then decided to save the FT & play brunt.
So now i have 2 FT
