Gameweek 4 gets underway with the showpiece fixture as Manchester City host Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium.

From a Fantasy perspective, the focus will clearly be on the attacking players.

City’s strikers head into the contest with impressive statistics to back them up. Sergio Aguero has scored in each of his five home meetings with Liverpool since arriving in the Premier League. As for Gabriel Jesus, he has been involved in 12 goals in his 11 starts, scoring eight and providing four assists.

But they will face a super confident Liverpool, boasting their own in-form “forward”. Roberto Firmino is the most bought asset over the international break, having found his way into 374,000+ squads since the Gameweek 3 deadline. The Brazilian has scored two goals and earned two assists in his four appearances against City.

Then we have the twin threats of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah – when they’ve started this season, they’ve scored, with five goals between them so far.

Salah is backed by over 238,000 new owners ahead of today’s encounter, only Henrikh Mkhitaryan (241,000+) saw more traffic among FPL midfielders since Gameweek 3.

    Did Jesus to Morata this week and I also have Mane (red card) and Yoshida (not starting) and TAA as my only sub to replace yoshida .. Currently listening to Dry your eyes by The Streets

    Got 2 ft and 1.4 itb

    A) Lukaku + Yoshida + Mane ---> Kane + Salah + Bertrand (0.5 itb)

    B) Morata + Yoshida + Mane --> Kane + Silva + Cedric (0.4 itb)

    B) Lukaku + Yoshida + Mane --> Kane + Silva + Mendy (0.5 itb)

    D) Firminho + Yoshida + Mane --> Kane + ox/fab/willian + Cedric

    E) Lukaku + Yoshida + Mane --> Kane + hazard + 4.5 def

    All options is a -4 (obviously)

      Probably not Silva. Wonderful player but master of assisting the assister. Proved today that he's not viable 'coverage' in this City team where the points will be spread out all season.

      Forget Ox/Fab/Wil.

      I like Salah, and Bertrand will have another good run of fixtures soon.

      See what Hazard does today. And Morata, if you're thing of getting rid.

    73 with 3 to play.

    Very pleased, but disappointed I finally caved and sold KDB. I only sold him because I had 2 FTs and nothing else I wanted to do. If only we could save 3FTs or more, I would have continued to be more patient!

    Well done to those who stuck with him. I just hope Mkhitaryan can emulate KDB's returns to help me get a much-needed monster gameweek. Lukaku blank would be a bonus.
