We’ve been chattering for several weeks on the much anticipated “fixture swing”, and now we’re all set to put ourselves at its mercy.

What does it mean for our Fantasy line-ups?

In truth, with multiple transfers and Wildcards at our disposal, Jonty, Andy, Luke and myself started this latest episode still seeking our own answers. Over almost 90 minutes and with your community questions providing the steer, we do our best to reach some conclusions.

We weigh up Manchester United exit plans, Liverpool’s blunted attack and Jamie Vardy’s recuperation techniques, before previewing Gameweek 8 in the usual hap-hazard style.

      Very similar to mine except I've gone for Sterling instead of Silva to upgrade my defense. A bit worried about Wimmer being nailed but it's a risk worth taking IMO.

    If Jones and Ritchie are out my team is in total disarray with kol mbemba RLC as well. No city or Chelsea and replacing these injured ones doesn't give me cash to bring them in.

    Any news on Ritchie or Jones? Or do I have to painfully wait till 1.30

        Their positions are different. Azpi gets his assists from deeper usually, whereas Alonso camps in the oppositions penalty box.

          the difference is .5m for pretty much the same thing. Azpi is a bap magnet when Chelsea keep cleanies and now he has has regular attacking returns. its a no brainer.

            no, they're nothing like the same thing at all due to Alonso's goal threat. Azpi is chipping away and Alonso will likely score big less frequently. Alonso owners guess he will come out on top overall and there's a good case for that

              but we have not now also seen that Alonso is also expendable for contes tactical changes during games if Cheslea are struggling?, this wasn't the case last season. Caesar gets the full 90 every time

        What's baffling about a player with considerably higher goal threat and a history of scoring more than one goal in a game? There's a great case for Azpi also, but one good game and Alonso would just surge past him. There's nothing baffling about the case for either and they have similar ownership
