FanDuel

Introducing the Free FanDuel Survivor Contest

For the first half of April, we have teamed up with FanDuel to launch an exclusive free-to-enter “Last Man Standing” style contest, spanning the next four Gameweeks.

Called “Fantasy Football Scout Survivor”, this latest tournament differs from FanDuel’s distinct weekly and daily contest format as it covers a number of Gameweeks, with competitors seeking to survive through to the final round.

The format for “Survivor” will be instantly familiar to anyone who has participated in Fantasy Premier League “Last Man Standing” tournaments.

After each round of fixtures, those managers that rank in the bottom 50% of scores will be eliminated, with the top half marching on to the next stage. That continues until the ultimate winner is crowned – the highest scoring manager in the fourth round of fixtures.

Existing FanDuel customers, as well as those new to the game, are free to take part in this contest, although it is worth noting that this is only available to UK residents.

There are 300 team slots available and entries are limited to one per FanDuel account, so be sure to claim your spot in this exclusive free-to-enter contest.

Also, for new customers that register ahead of this tournament, FanDuel are giving away a free £5 credit, which can be accessed by using the promocode SCOUTFIVER when signing up via this link.

If you’re building a FanDuel lineup for the first time, we recommend taking a look at our strategy guide that examines which players to target in the various positions.

Getting Started

Click here and pick your FanDuel lineup for the first round, taking place in Gameweek 30.

Once your lineup is complete, you will either need to register an account or log in.

If you’re registering for the first time, Don’t forget to use the promo code “SCOUTFIVER” to claim your free credit.

When your line-up is entered, you can log back in and edit it, right up until the kick-off in the first match via the “upcoming” tab.

Should your team qualify for each next round, you will find a dummy line-up available, allowing you to tinker ahead of the next set of fixtures via the ‘upcoming’ tab in the FanDuel lobby.

Schedule and Prizes

The competition takes place over Gameweeks 30 -33, with the deadline for entries set for 12:30pm Saturday, April 1.

Here is the full list of rounds and the number of teams involved in each:

  • Round one – Saturday 1st April – 300
  • Round two – Saturday 8th April – 120
  • Round three – Saturday 15th April – 60
  • Grand Final  – Saturday 22nd April – 25

The winner is the competitor with the highest round four score, who will receive a £30 Amazon voucher and a £20 FanDuel credit.

The highest scorer in rounds one to three will receive a free entry into the following week’s Fan Favourite competition.

Depends how you like your apples. Eriksen is great in terms of watching him and all his involvement at set pieces as well as open play....nobody better. Alli might get you a few more pts though.

I'll stick with Eriksen for certain.

If someone from abroad wins a season ticket they should pay for your flights to every home game. 😉

But as a more general note it's better to keep the Norway discussion in the community article now that the article is still fresh so we have it all in one place.

Redmond has improved his finishing of late but not convinced this will be ongoing. Has been soooo wasteful most of the season.

Tadic has been quite critical of Puel of late in the media, frustrated at being continually subbed. I'd be a bit wary, something's not quite right between those 2.

I do the £5 Fan Favourite and the £10 double-up (and the Free to Play) - I have had a great run of 6 GWs wins in a row 🙂

Not feeling it this week though - looks tough.

No sadly, I fell at the first hurdle.

Basically when I do well at FPL I do poorly at FD....need to start coordinating them so I either do well or poorly in both at the same time.

You don't wanna do poorly in both!

One thing I really like about FanDuel is you can pick the players that you think will do well that you know you can't have in your FPL team, although dealing with the conflict of interest can be tough.

Why is Sanchez still flagged? He played the whole game yesterday with Chile.

Flagging has been ridiculous this season

I really dont get the obession with flagging. What does it matter if his flag is removed today or next week? 0.1 of a difference at most hardly significant.

    Hi guys,

I know plans never work out but i've been playing around and think the bwlow looks good in terms of getting in a spurs player & also Ibra when the time comes.

GW 30 - Jones to Valencia, Heaton to Valdes
GW 31- King to Eriksen, Llorente to Negredo
    GW32 - Save
Gw 33 - Mane to coutinho or Alonso to Stones
    GW34 - Lukaku to Ibra
    GW 35 - WC

    Current team is:

    Heaton / Pickford

    Jones / Alonso / PVA / Evans / Holgate

    Sanchez / Mane / Pedro / King / T Carroll

    Aguero / Lukaku / Llorente

    Any thoughts appreciated

    Cheers,

      Look Fine to me.
What's your thinking in regards to Gw 33 transfer?

Thinking of Heaton > Pickford (already have Valdes). Time for Heaton to go you think?

I think i'll probably do Mane to Coutinho although he is in terribel form at the moment.

I was set on having Heaton as a season keeper, but with the double GW 34 i think Valdes is as good a shout as Chambers which is popular on here. Seems a good chance to save a bit of cash, get a double in and see what happens.

Obviously you would be going for the same keepes as me which i think is good, pickford plays every week, has some ok fixtures and might get save points. Pickford / vades seems a good budget rotation for rest of the season

Any thoughts on this lot appreciated.

    1ft. 1.7 ITB

    Valdes/Heaton**
    Coleman-Alonso-Valencia-Gibson-Holebas**
    Siggy-Mane-Carroll-Son-Markovic**
    Kun-Kaku- Carroll

Need to free up funds for future Ali/ibra/Sanchez transfers.

    Thinking.

    Heaton > Pickford
    Kun > Vardy
    Holebas > Yoshida or A N Other
Could then upgrade Marko for maybe pedro

    or Save and play 4-3-3

    1 out for Valencia :

    A. Mawson
    B. Alonso
    C. Coleman
    D. Brunt
    E. Maguire

    1.5 Itb.
    Thinking Coleman to free funds
And later on Brunt - Gibson

Bench fodder 3rd Fwd in a 3-5-2 before WC.

Is there any value in getting either Gestede/Stuani over Ashley Barnes with one eye on the Boro double in GW34?

        Lukaku Costa or Ibra
