Dugout Discussion – Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

Gameweek 32 concludes at Selhurst Park as Crystal Palace – with victories in four of their last five Premier League matches – look to maintain their recent revival against London rivals Arsenal.

Sam Allardyce’s’ Eagles have kept clean sheets in their last two home outings but a shut-out looks unlikely this evening: they face an Arsenal side who have scored in each of their previous twenty matches in the Premier League, with key Fantasy asset Alexis Sanchez a big factor in that statistic.

    Last night I was leaning towards A, but after today's Arsenal performance I'm not sure I want Alexis much longer...

          Me too. I sold Sanchez for Zaha and upgrade Origi to Kane. I keep Kun and Lukaku. My Mid is currently very week but I still have my WC and plan to bring in Sanchez back just before his double DGW.

      I'm in the minority of people who prefer to wait for Kane to prove he's 100% - I don't think you have to drop anyone for hit yet.

      I have a feeling Siggy will come good sooner rather than later, he's a class player. But yes, Siggy to Zaha is tempting. Sanchez to Hazard is very tempting if I were you.

      I think I'd for either Sanchez to Hazard or Siggy to Zaha (probably the former), and use the money to do Nyom to Gibson.

      What is going on with Walker? When is he expected to return?

      Due to the price rise tonight I almost did Sanchez out for Hazard but the fixtures just didn't allow this move... Arsenal play Boro away (Sanchez likes playing away) and Chelsea play Man U away (Hazard does not like playing on the road...) So I will keep Sanchez even though he has been extremely annoying... and playing wide open... One more chance...

            So yeah, if I had to objectively assess which players to get by GW34, it would be Zaha and Gibson.

                No to be honest, if I had to predict a score it would be 0-0. Based on that hunch I've sold Sanchez myself, so I've put my money where my mouth is. If they return to form I won't mind too much, it'll be a good indication I need Sanchez for his DGW.

    Zaha is not worthed after GW 33, fixtures are really tough for Palace, even DGW will be against Pool and Spurs.

    King is better for long term, as BOU matches are relatively easy after GW 33 (MID, SUN, STK, BUR, LEI).

          He is essential, I'm also thinking to get him for Aguero. Eriksen and Alli might be enough to cover Kane's explosion though.

          Think of it this way - if you put Kane in and he scores a hattrick, and Ibra scores one goal and gets 2 bonus pts, you've only gained 5 pts compared to not doing the transfer.

      Did not see the game. But Arsenal are imploding. Two dgws and great fixtures and I am really considering losing Sanchez and not even going to a cheap Arsenal replacement.

        See previous page for Arsenal and Sanchez when I asked for how he played. Personally, I've sold. If he and Arsenal find form, so much the better - I'll be happy to have him back on my wildcard as a triple captain option.

          I have done the Sanchez > Walcott twice already this and had to get Sanchez back. Won't be going Walcott again but have a feeling Sanchez may never be in my FPL team again. 🙁

    Non-Kane + Non-Luakau owners unite?
    ...and are we crazy not to bring one of them in to captain this GW?
    To do this I would need to get rid of either Ibra, Sanchez or Hazard and I'm reluctant.
    Ibra DWG34, so would be very silly to get rid imo!
    Hazard in form and very attractive DGW and end of season fixtures likely.
    After last night Sanchez is close to the door but away to Boro and a slight chance that he plays up top could mean a big haul? He also has two DGWs!
