The 2016/17 season comes to a close this afternoon, with all 10 Gameweek 38 matches getting underway at 3pm.

We’re spoilt for choice in terms of armband options for the final round of fixtures, with the top three players in this week’s Captain Poll – Alexis Sanchez, Harry Kane and Philippe Coutinho – are serving up their highest hauls of the season in Gameweek 37.

Kane’s four-goal blitz at the King Power takes him two ahead of his nearest challenger Romelu Lukaku for the Golden Boot, while Sanchez welcomes Everton on the back of three successive double-figure tallies.

Throw in champions Chelsea at home to relegated Sunderland (Eden Hazard and Diego Costa both start) and Man City’s trip to a decimated Watford defence and it’s fair to say that goals look very much on Sunday’s agenda.

So sit back and enjoy the frantic next couple of hours’ action – it won’t be until August 12 before domestic action comes back our way again.

        Oh I'd love to see that. I chased rival down from 240 pts behind to 25 pt win today. Can't believe it actually. Had no hope it seemed.

      When was king news out this morn?? I was doing some one a favour and at two mins past 2 I realized he was out. And my mate in ML warned me on watsapp 15mins before deadline and missed that too. Could have been costly ..

            Go to 'The Scout' page on the FPL website. Generally they put up two 15 minute clips on the Friday each GW. FPL Show Pt 1 and Pt 2.

              I meant more from a personal stand point as i don't remember a game as important and as much hinging on it as this EL final but to an extent i think it does.. if we miss out it's no longer a one off like we could have said previously imo.. Griezmann for examplewouldn't entertain us even for 300k a week i don't think

      Thanks to all those who suggested that I kept Pedro and Eriksen. Even though the replacement would have been Sane or Coutinho the hit wouldn't have been worth it.
      Pedrito was benched but he came through big in the end

          I believe FPL last year started on the next Monday 1 month before the season started, so it could be the 17th this year, just a guess though
