The 2016/17 season comes to a close this afternoon, with all 10 Gameweek 38 matches getting underway at 3pm.

We’re spoilt for choice in terms of armband options for the final round of fixtures, with the top three players in this week’s Captain Poll – Alexis Sanchez, Harry Kane and Philippe Coutinho – are serving up their highest hauls of the season in Gameweek 37.

Kane’s four-goal blitz at the King Power takes him two ahead of his nearest challenger Romelu Lukaku for the Golden Boot, while Sanchez welcomes Everton on the back of three successive double-figure tallies.

Throw in champions Chelsea at home to relegated Sunderland (Eden Hazard and Diego Costa both start) and Man City’s trip to a decimated Watford defence and it’s fair to say that goals look very much on Sunday’s agenda.

So sit back and enjoy the frantic next couple of hours’ action – it won’t be until August 12 before domestic action comes back our way again.

    Wow.
    Score of 86 only took me from 25,851 to 25,168.
    So hard to get higher this season.

        Similar. Stuck around 30k to 50k since GW2 for most part. Flirted overnight at 7k once and that was it. Well played all.

    Every year when the season is over it happens the same thing and i see like i don't know it how much important is a -1 from a yellow card and generally the 1 point.

    Thanks for all the tips and advice received over the season - so very much appreciated.

    Josh King did us a big favour this morning, didn't he! I ended up going Haz King > Cout Alli which didn't end up too bad.

    Not sure whether to be gutted or elated with 1,006 OR. Didn't think getting 1k was possible this morning...110(-4) later it turns out all I needed to do was play Yoshida instead of Stephens 🙂

    My first FPL season, original aim was not to come last in my mini league... happy to say I finished 1st and just outside top 50k OR! Thanks to everyone for the knowledge and assistance, now enjoy the summer!

    I discovered FFS at the end of last season and set myself a goal of top 100k having left my team for dead for a lot of last year. Finished today on 2328 points and 6151 final rank. Thanks FFS for helping me keep motivated and for all the OMGs on here. Looking forward to coming in the top 1 next year 😀

    Finished 80,866 OR, which is my best season ever, so I am very happy. Next season's aim will be a top 50k finish, and less than 10 hits all season.

      Well done and a solid or to aim for. Less than 10 hits might do more harm than good so wouldn't hinder yourself with that one imo

        tbh we have very similar teams.i think ive missed out on couple of big captaincy hauls. 4 goal lukaku and tekkers in dgw comes to mind ( mark nailed them)

        plus chasing 3rd strikers this season didnt work for me at all . Marks early adoption of 3-5-2 did wonders

    stagnated in 200ks from GW24 until GW36 WC.
    THen 216k to 66k in 3 weeks.
    Worst finish in 6 years but not the disaster I thought it was going to be. Seriously considering 2nd WC a bit earlier next year. Momentum it can (even compared to 1st WC) is impressive for many players this year.

    Dearest scouters,

    Great season for many on here, including me. Finished just outside the top 5k which is awesome, although pipped at the last for £s by a carefully crafted Cahill CS. Hope you all have a superb couple of months before we resume for next season!

      My worst FPL season ever but that's how it goes. Finished 199k OR. Proud of my Spurs for an awesome season. Thanks for all the tips guy's! Gonna come back stronger in August. Enjoy the break all.

      My first season. So much frustration and so much fun. Climbed from around 750K to 119K in the end.
