Actually more opinions make it more interesting as they all have different differentials. Have to say Andy suggested Jones and Stephens and both were clean sheet gold last week.

I think he's the only one out of the regulars that's maverick and goes without big hitters as though it's no problem. I like Luke and AZ too. Everyone plays their part but think the rest are too fearful of a haul by a big hitter and just HAVE to own him.

This. At 12.5 he has to be the standout captain option nearly every week. But now with Lukaku, Lacazette, Morata, Aguero, Jesus and Firmino, it isn't so obvious anymore.

If Lukaku beats Kane GW 2, then GW3 is going to be a really hard captain decision.

I'm sure they got it, more non-cap value elsewhere. The thing is it's not clear after 1 game that that will be the case, next 2 we'll get a much better idea.

Mark was very lucky not to avoid Lukaku, his Cherries prediction v Albions went horribly wrong..He had a shaky- still lucky start to the season. Could have been much worse 😉

Seems a sensible time, all other things being equal, but I reckon the consensus is that you WC when your team needs it.

There are many acceptable WC tactics, during international game weeks is one.
Prior to fixture double ups also popular.
Saving for when you need it...injuries and suspensions is another.

WC pre-GW8 was my plan before the season started, but there's also an argument to do it pre-GW4. Generally, I would wildcard as soon as I feel that I have sufficient new information about captain options, cheap fillers, etc., to build a better squad than my current one.
