Line-Up Lessons – Gameweek 5 – Part One

Both Alexis Sanchez and Eden Hazard have to settle for spots on the bench for the stalemate between Arsenal and Chelsea, while Bournemouth return to a back four and pick up their first points of the season.

Elsewhere, Burnley switch back to defensive mode for the siege of Anfield and new man Roy Hodgson eschews the fashion for three-man defences for his first match in charge at Crystal Palace.

Here’s part one of Line-up Lessons, assessing the teamsheets and formations from Gameweek 5, with one eye on what’s to come at the weekend.

Arsenal

Starting XI: Cech; Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal; Bellerin, Ramsey, Xhaka, Kolasinac; Welbeck (Giroud 72), Iwobi (Elneny 79); Lacazette (Sanchez 65). Subs not used: Mertesacker, Ospina, Walcott, Maitland-Niles.

  • What we saw: Mesut Ozil missed the trip to Chelsea with a knee injury, but rather than hand a first start of the season to Alexis Sanchez, Arsene Wenger opted to use Alex Iwobi alongside Danny Welbeck in the attacking midfield positions. The Gunners boss kept faith in his usual 3-4-2-1 formation, with Alexandre Lacazette leading the line. Wenger introduced Mohamed Elneny late on, helping shore up the midfield in more of a 3-5-2, leaving substitutes Olivier Giroud and Sanchez in attack.
  • What we learned: The defence and midfield now looks more settled, with Wenger seemingly set on the 3-4-2-1 system. Sanchez could be handed a start against Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night to build up his match fitness, with a view to starting against West Bromwich Albion a week on Monday. He is likely to replace Danny Welbeck, who was forced off at Stamford Bridge due to a groin injury, with Ozil likely to return in place of Iwobi if he’s available.

Current Status: Settled
Risk Areas: Attacking midfield

Bournemouth

Starting XI: Begovic; A Smith, Francis, Ake, Daniels; Fraser (Ibe 65), Arter, Surman, Pugh; King (Gosling 90); Defoe (Afobe 78). Subs not used: Boruc, L Cook, Mings, Mousset.

  • What we saw: Having used a three-man defence for the last couple of matches, Eddie Howe switched back to the 4-4-1-1 formation for the home meeting with Brighton & Hove Albion. Steve Cook missed out with a knee injury, so Simon Francis slotted in at centre-back. Marc Pugh was handed a start on the left wing, with Ryan Fraser on the right, while Andrew Surman was recalled in central midfield. Dan Gosling was introduced late on, seeing the home side switch to a 4-5-1 as they looked to hold on for a first win of the season.
  • What we learned: With the return to a four-man defence reaping immediate rewards, it’s likely that Howe will stick with the same formation for Saturday’s trip to Everton. Cook remains a doubt, but if he is fit, could replace Francis at centre-back, with the club captain then battling with Adam Smith to start at right-back. After changing the match as a second-half substitute with two assists, Jordon Ibe will be pushing for a start at Goodison Park. Junior Stanislas is closing in on a return, and may be ready to feature from the bench.

Current Status: Fairly Settled
Risk Areas: Right-back, central defenders, right wing

Brighton & Hove Albion

Starting XI: Ryan; Rosenior, Dunk, Duffy, Suttner; Knockaert (Izquierdo 77), Stephens, Propper, March; Gross (Murray 77); Hemed. Subs not used: Maenpaa, Hunemeier, Murphy, Goldson, Schelotto.

  • What we saw: Chris Hughton was forced into making one adjustment from the side that beat West Brom 3-1 for the trip to Bournemouth, with Liam Rosenior replacing captain Bruno at right-back. He was ruled out due to a back injury picked up against the Baggies. The Seagulls boss switched from the 4-4-1-1 to a 4-4-2 late on, with Glenn Murray joining Tomer Hemed in attack as the visitors tried to engineer a late equaliser.
  • What we learned: The Brighton side still remains relatively settled, with Hemed having the edge over Murray in the pecking order in attack. Jose Izquierdo got some more minutes under his belt, this time on the right wing, and is pushing for a first start in place of either Anthony Knockaert or Solly March. Bruno looks to have a good chance of being fit to return this weekend, so Rosenior may drop back to the bench.

Current Status: Fairly Settled
Risk Areas: Right-back, flanks

Burnley

Starting XI: Pope; Ward, Tarkowski, Mee, Lowton; Brady, Cork, Defour (Westwood 87), Gudmundsson (Barnes 60); Arfield; Wood (Vokes 87). Subs not used: Legzdins, Bardsley, Walters, Long.

  • What we saw: As expected, Sean Dyche did switch back to the more defensive 4-5-1 formation for the trip to Liverpool, with Chris Wood getting the nod over Sam Vokes as the lone striker. Scott Arfield returned in central midfield, while Nick Pope replaced the injured Tom Heaton in goal. Dyche did switch to a more attacking 4-4-1-1 on the hour mark, with Ashley Barnes operating as a support striker. Robbie Brady moved from the left to the right wing, with Arfield shifting across to the left flank.
  • What we learned: Playing against tougher opposition away from home, Dyche continues to roll out the 4-5-1 formation. But with a home fixture against Huddersfield Town this weekend, he could hand a recall to either Vokes or Barnes in attack alongside Wood. Arfield could be the midfielder to make way, although Gudmundsson’s spot is perhaps also at risk. Jeff Hendrick (thigh) could provide another midfield option and has been passed fit.

Current Status: Fairly Settled
Risk Areas: Flanks, central midfield, forwards

Chelsea

Starting XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Cahill, Luiz; Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Willian (Hazard 69), Pedro (Bakayoko 46); Morata (Christensen 88). Subs not used: Caballero, Rudiger, Zappacosta, Batshuayi.

  • What we saw: Blues boss Antonio Conte resisted the temptation to start Eden Hazard, instead choosing Willian and Pedro to support lone striker Alvaro Morata in attack. Gary Cahill returned from suspension to replace Antonio Rudiger in the three-man defence, while Cesc Fabregas was preferred to Tiemoue Bakayoko in central midfield. Conte had to reshuffle things at half-time after Pedro was forced off with an ankle problem. Fabregas moved into a more advanced midfield role, with Bakayoko partnering N’Golo Kante in the middle of the park. After David Luiz was sent off, Conte brought on Andreas Christensen to retain a back three, with Morata sacrificed.
  • What we learned: Luiz will miss the next two Premier League matches due to suspension, so Rudiger looks in line to return to the starting XI. Chelsea play Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night, so Hazard may be handed some more minutes, with a possible start against Stoke City on Saturday in mind. He could potentially replace Pedro in the advanced midfield positions. Bakayoko provides a more physical option in central midfield if Conte feels that will be required at the bet365 Stadium.

Current Status: Fairly Settled
Risk Areas: Central defenders, central midfield, attacking midfield

Crystal Palace

Starting XI: Hennessey; Ward, Fosu-Mensah, Dann, Schlupp; Townsend, McArthur (Milivojevic 69), Cabaye, Puncheon; Loftus-Cheek (Sako 77), Benteke. Subs not used: Speroni, Van Aanholt, Tomkins, Lee Chung-yong, Kelly.

  • What we saw: New Palace boss Roy Hodgson rolled out a 4-2-3-1 formation for his first match in charge, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek returning from injury to start in the No 10 role. Jason Puncheon was stationed on the left wing for the Eagles, leaving James McArthur and Yohan Cabaye in the double-pivot.
  • What we learned: With few options available to him, we didn’t see radical changes to the Palace side under Hodgson. Bakary Sako did return from injury as a substitute and could provide a possible alternative to Puncheon out wide. Luka Milivojevic also impressed at the base of midfield coming off the bench, and may well push for a start away to Manchester City on Saturday. Mamadou Sakho and Pape Souare are set to start the Eagles’ Carabao Cup clash with Huddersfield Town tonight, and the former, in particular, could be fast-tracked to the teamsheet for the Etihad test.

Current Status: Slightly Unsettled
Risk Areas: Central defenders, left-back, central midfield, left wing

Everton

Starting XI: Pickford; Keane, Jagielka, Williams; Martina, Schneiderlin, Gueye (Calvert-Lewin 76), Baines; Davies (Sandro 66), Sigurdsson; Rooney (Mirallas 81). Subs not used: Klaassen, Besic, Stekelenburg, Holgate.

  • What we saw: After using a 4-2-3-1 against Spurs in Gameweek 4, Ronald Koeman switched back to a 3-4-2-1 formation at Old Trafford. Phil Jagielka was recalled in central defence, while Tom Davies joined Gylfi Sigurdsson in the central attacking midfield positions behind lone striker Wayne Rooney. Davies did make way for Sandro Ramirez shortly after the hour mark, though, with the Spaniard then taking over as the lone striker, seeing Rooney drop deeper. Sigurdsson ended up moving into central midfield, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Sandro and Kevin Mirallas forming a front three for the final nine minutes.
  • What we learned: With Everton’s run of tough matches now over, it’s possible that Koeman will return to a back four for the home encounter with Bournemouth on Saturday. Should that be the case, one of Jagielka or Ashley Williams should make way, while Mason Holgate is an option to replace Cuco Martina on the right side of the defence. One of Sandro or Calvert-Lewin should start to provide some pace in attack, perhaps seeing Rooney move back into the No 10 role, and Sigurdsson to the left in a 4-2-3-1. Davy Klaassen offers another alternative in midfield.

Current Status: Unsettled
Risk Areas: Right-back/right wing-back, central defenders, flanks, attacking midfield, lone striker

Huddersfield Town

Starting XI: Lossl; Smith, Schindler, Zanka, Lowe; Sabiri (Hogg 82), Williams; Kachunga (Quaner 74), Mooy, Ince; Depoitre (Van la Parra 90). Subs not used: Coleman, Malone, Billing, Hefele.

  • What we saw: Steve Mounie missed the home meeting with Leicester City due to a knock, so Laurent Depoitre was handed a first Premier League start as the lone striker in the usual 4-2-3-1 formation. Elsewhere, Abdelhamid Sabiri got the nod in the No 10 role, seeing Tom Ince move to the left, while Danny Williams replaced Philip Billing at the base of midfield. Jonathan Hogg retuned from injury to come on as a late substitute in central midfield, Aaron Mooy moving into the No 10 position.
  • What we learned: David Wagner chose to freshen up his side following the 2-0 defeat to West Ham United, showing he does have some decent back-up options available to him. Rajiv van La Parra could now struggle to get back into the side in place of Sabiri. If he is fit for the trip to Burnley, Mounie will push Depoitre for the striker’s role, although Wagner may keep faith with Saturday’s goal scorer. Williams, Billing and Hogg all look to be battling it out for one spot alongside Mooy in central midfield.

Current Status: Fairly Settled
Risk Areas: Central midfield, lone striker

Leicester City

Starting XI: Schmeichel; Simpson, Morgan, Maguire, Chilwell; Mahrez, Ndidi, King, Albrighton (Gray 67); Iheanacho (Okazaki 68), Vardy (Slimani 82). Subs not used: Hamer, Dragovic, Amartey, Iborra.

  • What we saw: Craig Shakespeare was forced into making a couple of changes for the trip to Huddersfield, with Ben Chilwell and Andy King coming in for the injured duo Christian Fuchs and Matty James. The Foxes boss also handed a first league start to Kelechi Iheanacho, who was stationed in the support striker role in the 4-4-1-1 system. Jamie Vardy was forced off with a groin problem late on, with Islam Slimani taking his place in a straight swap.
  • What we learned: Vardy’s groin injury will have to be checked ahead of the home meeting with Liverpool on Saturday – indeed, he is still a doubt to face the Reds in the EFL Cup this evening. Slimani and Shinji Okazaki provide alternatives in attack. Fuchs and James should have a decent chance of recovering, and could return in place of Chilwell and King respectively. Demarai Gray still appears unlikely to oust Marc Albrighton from the starting spot on the left wing.

Current Status: Fairly Settled
Risk Areas: Left-back, central midfield, forwards

Liverpool

Starting XI: Mignolet; Alexander-Arnold, Klavan, Matip, Robertson; Milner, Can, Coutinho (Solanke 77); Salah, Sturridge, Firmino (Oxlade-Chamberlain 77). Subs not used: Karius, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Henderson, Moreno.

  • What we saw: Jurgen Klopp handed a first start of the season to Philippe Coutinho, who was stationed in central midfield in a 4-1-2-3 formation. Daniel Sturridge came into the side as the central striker, as Roberto Firmino shifted over to the left of the front three. Andrew Robertson was handed a recall at left-back in place of Alberto Moreno. Trent Alexander-Arnold came in for Joe Gomez at right-back. In search of a late winner, Klopp brought on Dominic Solanke and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
  • What we learned: We again saw Klopp rotate his side following a UEFA Champions League match, with seven alterations to his teamsheet. After the attack failed to fire against Burnley, Firmino could return to the central striker role against Leicester City, with Coutinho or Oxlade-Chamberlain perhaps starting on the left. Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum and Moreno should all earn recalls, while Dejan Lovren could replace Ragnar Klavan in central defence. Joe Gomez is also a viable alternative to Alexander-Arnold at right-back and may well earn a starting role, given that he is suspended for the Champions League clash with Spartak Moscow just three days’ later.

Current Status: Unsettled
Risk Areas: Defence, central midfield, left wing, central striker

Chances of Virgil van Dijk playing this weekend pretty high?

If so, who loses their starting spot?

The difference between an average and a great fpl manager is one chases last week's points and the other chases next week's points.

There's further refinement within form though. Awesome stats without expected results can point to imminent success (but not "in form"), the same stats with great results say "in form" but maybe they got lucky that day / were clinical. I know some of this is against FFS groupthink, but variety of ideas is healthy.

Chasing next week's points involves quite some luck on top of strategy.

Just saying we shouldn't let last week's points cloud our future view too much. It is reactionary and good managers will be predicting the next hatty rather than buying the last one.

In all seriousness, heres my issue. Yes Aguero is in form but there is a Manchester City fixture tomorrow and if he plays 90 minutes he might not play much on the weekend since it is a weak team, Crystal Palace. (Look what happened to Ben Davies). Another possibility is that he gets injured during this game.

Secondly, they are playing Chelsea away after Crystal Palace.

Thirdly, Gabriel Jesus still currently provides better value. That extra 1 million is significant. 2 more fixtures before the international break will provide more conclusive data as to which of the two to pick.

This being said I will wait as I need to improve other areas in my squad. Dont think my logic can be faulted.

it depends who's points you are chasing

Aguero is one of the best fantasy players in history

hardly the same as chasing say Gross or some Stoke guy who's played for 5 minutes

I think we're spoilt for premium forward choices this year. Lukaku, Kane, Jesus, Morata. Easy to jump off one and miss their hatty because you flinched. Aguero was in his own league previously but not anymore. One hatty and we've all forgotten the last 12 months.

I agree entirely with what you say. But the difference between this year and last year is that this City team look unreal and they seem to know what system they are playing. Aguero and Jesus will only get better playing together...

If you ask me theres 50 goals between those two and a similar season to when Suarez and Sturridge were firing on all cylinders.

I'd put good money on Aguero winning the golden boot this year if he stays fit because City will score the most goals in the prem this season by a mile.

Many managers simply buy the player that had 'hauled' the week before, irrespective of form, fixtures, the team etc. with Choupo-Moting the latest FFS knee jerk.

However when a big hitter looks to be hitting form it is a foolish manager that ignores this on the basis of 'chasing last week's points'

        1. ChristoBisto

We'll see what turns out to be foolish. A transfer in needs a transfer out. It depends who you are getting rid of to make way. A few concerns surrounding Aguero that don't apply to alternatives, but that knee-jerk tendency you refer to sweeps any doubt aside and suddenly we are foolish not to buy him. If Kane explodes this week and Kun is rested you'll be chasing your tail.

In relation to this key question, how confident can we be that Aguero will not be rotated by Pep? Personally, I would be worried about putting the armband on Aguero over the likes of Kane and Lukaku if there is the potential for Aguero to be rested or to only come on for the final 20 minutes.

Is it time to go with the Power 3 attack of 'Aguero Lukaku Kane' upfront.?

Even with the power 3 upfront we could still form a very good team. (thanks to cheapies likes Atsu and Gross who are viable options)

            Elliot (Krul)
            Bavies Cedric Jones (Naughton Rosenior)
            Salah Mikhi Gross Atsu (Caroll)
            Kane Lukaku Aguero

Do you think United's recent run of goals have been fortunate? Three teams collapse in the final moments out of five games to turn tight wins into big hauls.

Can this be sustained against a better level of opposition in the next few weeks? Is it time to bank the points and move on to equally as talented players in good form and better fixtures?

United have Southampton, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea coming up, all teams who can defend (yes, even Liverpool can in a derby like situation) do you expect Jose to let his 'horses run freely' or do you expect Jose to revert to type and make sure they don't lose first?

Is this bad news for United's attacking assets and might it make their defence seem like better options as clean sheets will likely be a priority?

        1. Is Kun essential? Or just another trick to see him get benched against Palace?
        2. If yes, who would you drop to get Kun?
        3. Top 2 premium strikers?
        4. Might be too early to judge, but is Kane a no-captaincy option at Wembley with Spurs struggling at Wembley?
        5. Is 433 the way to go now with so many emerging wbs and limited mid price midfielders?

Why is the average always so high?
Even in weeks where it seems like nothing special has happened the average score is very high.
Since last season you need amazing weeks to beat the average by 10pts or so. 3 or 4 players doing well is not enough anymore, you need 6 or 7 plus captain success.
But why? FPL managers getting better? Chips? More options who are doing well? Even ownership tactic doesn't work anymore.

there were also a lot of clean sheets from top teams this week and top team defenders tend to be very popular with casuals (not saying they're always bad picks, mind)

        1) Is there an Aguero-shaped hole in your team? Is he the best route into the Manchester City attack?

        2) Spurs's record at White Hart Lane last season was incredible. How good are the likes of Kane, Eriksen and Alli if you take away home advantage?

        3) Was it madness for Andy to sell Lukaku for a -4?

        4) Is it time for Firmino to go already?

        5) What advice would you give to fantasy managers who endured a massive rankings drop this week: Keep calm & carry on or wildcard/take hits?

        6) It's impossible to afford all the best players. So what's wrong with a bit of coverage?

        7) Is this the most difficult season in recent memory?

        8) 4 blanks in 5. A goal conversion rate that is nearly 5 times worse than Aguero's. Do we need to get rid of Kane?

        9) Is 3 heavy fitters up front an absolute must?

Is Spurs' attack best ignored this season? United and City have managed 16 goals while Spurs haven't even managed half. Not only are they playing 38 away games but their assets are also a lot more expensive this season.

Here are some questions for todays scoutcast:

        1. If you where to bring one expensive defender in to your team, who would you prioritize for the coming three weeks? (bear in mind, many are planning on wildcarding GWK 8, so this could be for only three games). Perhaps you could prioritize these suggestions: Davies (TOT), Kolasinac (ARS), Mendy (MCI), Otamendi (MCI), Alonso (CHE) an Everton defender perhaps?

        2. For those of us that stuck with KDB and got 2FT this weekend, would KDB  Silva be a good move to free up cash for mby one of those defenders above? Don’t have to comment on the exact move, but what are the toughts on Silva. Has a history of injuries as well…

We have to now come to realisation that there's a physiological block at home for spurs players. There for Kane's 12.5 million price tag seems excessive given Jesus and Aguero are cheaper alternatives and are scoring both home and away.

        Chips?

Despite all the scrambling around for Aguero there's not much talk of chips being played. Is the free hit chip an option this week to load up on Aguero, Jesus and De Bruyne? What about triple captaining Aguero? There may not actually be a double game week to play TC with the introduction of the free hit chip.

Or is it still simply the case that playing chips in the first half of the season is a no go? Surely if this coming weekend was game week 30 on wards there would be a lot of these chips activated.

One of the scouts on here posted a reply that basically said 'don't rotate your big hitters'.

With all the big hitters available and coming in and out of form, different fixture difficulties, we can't have them all - so I think that is exactly what we should do, rotate to suit

Assuming the Aguero + Lukaku + Kane + Salah attack template is essential (big assumption), in order to finance this we'll all need to PLAY 2 budget midfielders each week, and only one other premium (8.0+) midfielder.

Which 3 are best for the next 6 game weeks?

Does this force us to rotate through the "other" premium midfielder until January, as the 3 strikers and Salah are undroppable?

My question regards player ownership. Much has been made of "team coverage" recently and the general consensus seems to be you shouldn't really buy players for "team coverage" and should just get the best players.

However this doesn't seem to hold for ownership, we're constantly told we need to have high owned players in case they score big, why is this different? Surely we should just pick the best players regardless of ownership too?

Many wildcards I see are unbalanced ( including mine) . Are we forgetting that a wildcard should be made with more than 2 or 3 games in mind

Many have planned to wildcard gw8, two gameweeks from now. Is this a good time to have a team you wouldnt normally have, for ex 5 at the back, KunKakuKane. What players/teams would you bring in for two gameweeks only? I might have both Kolasinac and Bellerin for WBA, BHA.

normal wisdom on here is not to chase points.
Is this striker situation a classic example of this?
Too easy for some to be tempted to swap these big strikers on almost a weekly basis chasing fixtures.
I did lukaku to Kane last week based on next 3-4 weeks and it obviously cost big time. Big red arrow from 16k to 137k (almost exactly the 20 points i lost by making the move).
Also is it too easy to lose focus on the rest of your side whilst burning transfers on swapping strikers?

For those playing a wildcard in the next few weeks would it be worth switching formation and strategy from the conventional 3-4-3 to 4-3-3 investing in 3/4 of the attacking wingbacks, going cheap in midfield (4.5m-6.5m) and having 3 10m+ Big Hitters up front?

I know it wouldn't be the traditional way to play the game as I would always have gone fairly cheap in defence but it looks like its the way to go this year, Particularly with a lack of reliable mid priced midfielders to choose from (6.5m- 8.0m)

        Thanks very much in advance

My question is what do all you guys think is the best formation to go with at this current time? I've been playing 3-4-3 so far but there seems to be less value in the midfield as things stand. Been tempted to move to a 4-3-3 with 3 really big hitters up top

        Elliot
        Naughton Davies Löwe/Dawson

        Jesus Kaku firmino

For those investing in the back line, who is the 2nd best wing back option after Ben Davies? Would it be Kolasinac for his goal threat, Mendy for his chance and cross creation in a free flowing city team, old fave Alonso or someone else?

Is there merit in a 5-2-3? Cheap mids(5-6m range).

Keeping defense and mids constant and swapping between forwards?

Good defenders+100 point cheap mids+Elite forwards, could easily give us 1500 points IMO. Then factor in captain points....

        1) Will Hazard have a positive impact on Morata or not?

        2) Will Sanchez be a factor now, after Welbecks injury?

        3) Is Aguero worth 11.7 if you don't Captain him?

        4) Is Kane worth 12.4 if you don't Captain him?

        5) Palace have 3 tough fixtures. Another manager change after that? Why doesn't Mark try to be the manager. He would be good at it. #PVAFORWARD

What area (defense, midfield, forwards) have the best budget or value options appeared? Seem like budget midfielders and wingbacks have shone the last few weeks. Unless Abraham performs in the next few swans fixtures, might be best to forgo with budget forwards.

Is it premature to not look at midfielders , score 5 for a goal and clean sheet point was always mentioned .......there has always been a few premium strikers to want

        Hey Jonty,
Iv brought in Joselu, D Silva and Otamendi for Firmino, Mooy and Dawson. I watch MOTD and seen Joselu miss a bucket load of chances and surprised he didn't score atleast 1 of them he had atleast 3 or 4 great chances, im thinking if hes getting that many chances hes bound to get some goals. i also brought in D Silva and Otamendi to hopefully cover Aguero or Jesus's pts, i couldn't bring either of them because i already have Kane and Lukaku and the rest of my team would be all budget players if so.

        Are these good picks?

I'd not say less interesting, but with fewer stand out options in that price bracket there's a lot more luck involved.

3 big hitters and 4 decent defenders seems to be the way to go until somebody emerges from the confusion to help build a more balanced midfield.

Naughton's underlying stats aren't that great at the moment despite playing wingback (13 crosses, 3 chances created, 0 goal attempts). If your budget is 4.5 Ward or Mee from Burnley seem better shouts.

If you have 5 Aaron Cresswell looks amazing going forward (47 crosses, 9 chances created, 4 goal attempts). You do have to rely on the odd clean sheet though.

I don't wanna go crazy in defence already own Jones davies and Alonso

I was tempted by kiko Naughton and lacelles or however you spell it

Really good - thanks. Do either match well with Stoke by chance?

Can you afford Kola with Kun? If so do that.

B looks good but I'd rather Joselu to Abraham (and Kola over Mendy)

Anybody else wondering about Andreas Christensen at Chelsea as a potential CB option for the next few weeks while Luiz is out? Rudiger's started more but Conte seems to be utilising him as the cover/competition for the outside spots (Cahill, Azpi) in the back three, whilst AC is the main backup for the sweeper/libero role that Luiz plays.

Possibly just seems an unnecessary risk for 3 weeks though.
