Suspensions

The Suspension Tightrope Returns

Five Gameweeks into the season, we felt it was time to add our regular Suspension Tightrope widget.

This is now available under the Watchlist rankings in your right sidebars or via the slide-in menu on mobile and tablet.

For those unfamiliar, the Tightrope keeps a tally of cards accrued from all domestic matches across the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Premier League fixtures.

The table is updated after each Gameweek, and we aim to share the Fantasy implications of the latest yellows and reds collected in articles like the one you are reading now.

We’ll bring you news of all the latest suspensions, along with updates of the yellow card totals of the most regular perpetrators as they edge towards a domestic ban and clamber onto the ‘Suspension Tightrope’.

Crucially this season, it appears that the FA have changed the curfew rules for accumulating five and ten yellow cards.

Previously, players had to avoid collecting five domestic bookings before New Year’s Day, when the “tightrope” was extended to 10 cautions. They then had to get to the second Sunday of April and avoid receiving a two-match ban for 10 cards.

However, presumably to make this fairer for teams who played more matches before those curfew dates, the FA now specify the following in this season’s handbook.

A Player accumulating five cautions will be automatically suspended for one first-team competitive match if he has accumulated those five cautions in (up to and including) the number of matches in the relevant League as set out in the table below:

LeagueLeague Matches
Premier League19
EFL19
National League23

A Player accumulating ten cautions will be automatically suspended for two FTCM if he has accumulated those ten cautions in (up to and including) the number of matches in the relevant League as set out in the table below:

LeagueLeague Matches
Premier League32
EFL37
National League37

This effectively means that, regardless of when their fixtures fall, players have to avoid five bookings over their team’s first 19 Premier League matches and ten bookings over the first 32 matches.

In Fantasy terms, this means that Gameweek 19 – on December 23 – is currently the curfew for five yellow cards. Gameweek 32 on March 31 would be the second curfew, although, for some teams, that will be disrupted by postponements around that period.

The FA Cup Quarter Finals fall in Gameweek 31 currently, while the final of the Carabao Cup will take place in Gameweek 28. Those teams involved in either of those will face a postponed fixture and, therefore, their players will have a curfew for 10 cards extended.

I have contacted the FA for clarification of this.

As it stands, already two players are just one yellow away from a single-match suspension and look destined to serve a ban unless they can somehow navigate another 13 Gameweeks without a caution.

Crystal Palace’s Jason Puncheon and West Ham United’s Pablo Zabaleta are those two players. Both have received four Premier League bookings and were understandably omitted from last night’s Carabao Cup ties with that in mind.

That pair walk the tightrope against Manchester City and Spurs in Gameweek 6.

Below them we have eight players on three bookings and these include another Palace player – Christian Benteke. A suspension for him would be a major blow given their lack of options up front.

Newcastle United’s Matt Ritchie is perhaps the key asset in that list. He’s produced four assists so far this season and has earned over 93,000 new owners ahead of Gameweek 6. Pick up a yellow card at Brighton on Sunday and he will be just a single caution from an untimely one-match ban.

Of course, throughout this article we will also update you on existing bans and their progress.

Chelsea’s David Luiz is our article’s poster boy, having been the latest to be served with a suspension. A three-match ban has him sit out tonight’s Carabao Cup clash with Nottingham Forest along with Gameweek 6-7 encounters with Stoke City and Manchester City.

Elsewhere, Liverpool’s Sadio Mane, along with Newcastle’s Aleksandar Mitrovic and Miguel Britos of Watford can all make returns after Gameweek 6, having served out their own three-match suspensions.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Is it just me who's considering embracing a budget 3rd striker?

Tammy Abraham has Watford (h), West Ham (a), Huddersfield (h) and Leicester (h) in the next 4 and allows me to keep my 3 premium mids (Alli, Salah, Mkhitaryan), none of whom I want to ditch

    1. Botman and Robben

Personally I would avoid Abraham as he is really not a good striker, but will give you 2 pointers very regularly. His only goal was against the dead last team in the PL.

Feel like richarl and sterling could have a good weekend but long term not sure, Mooy included, feel like his fixtures are too tough.

    Elliot
    Alonso Davies Naughton

  26. The case for selling Lukaku
    Freddo
    • 6 Years
    6 years, 7 months ago

    The case for selling Lukaku.

Aguero destroying Watford has made us question our front lines and I just wanted to explore the possibility of losing Lukaku.

The scoutcast triggered this where they refused to contemplate losing him and justified it by the quality of his chances he's had without following that up with the strength of his fixtures, home games against West Ham, Leicester and Everton with away trips to Swansea and Stoke, well, Jose couldn't have picked an easier run if he did it himself, I think it's fair to say that regression will kick in as their fixtures stiffen up and they meet stronger sides.

When looking at their fixtures, while some may look decent on paper, if you're willing to scratch the surface, they may not be as decent as you think.

GW6 Southampton A - Looks ok on paper but with 3 clean sheets out of 5 games it wrong to assume that they are a poor side just because they can't score, most would expect Van Djik to come in to match Lukaku physically and the midfield will be a battle with Romeu and Lemina looking very good at the weekend, Southampton have done well against United under various managers so this is not going to be a walkover unless they join the list of teams who give up around 80 mins.

GW7 Palace H - On paper this looks like a TC quality fixture for Lukaku but United play in Russia on Wed, will probably be back home on Thursday, a warm down and light training on Friday with the game on Saturday, not ideal preparation, bodies and minds will be tired and I'm sure Jose will rotate in this to freshen things up considering the tough week they had due to the trip to Russia, Lukaku will play I'm sure but this has a leggy and tired performance written all over it and perhaps this won't be the hammering it looks on paper, I'm sure Hodgson will set his team up not to lose so it'll be a test for United's travelled side and the only thing that matters will be 3 points, not how they get them.

GW8 Liverpool A - Well we know Jose won't go there and open up against Liverpool, you only have to look at last year's game to know what he'll do, I'm sure he'll set up not to lose and take a point which will be a good result, can see them grinding out a win but don't see them losing, I'm sure Lukaku is going to have to put a shift in for the team in this one and do more defensive work than in their easy opening run.

GW9 Huddersfield A - Nothing to see here, routine win and haul expected, nothing less is acceptable.

GW10 & GW11 Spurs H & Chelsea A - Don't feel much needs to be said here that you don't already know, do need to point out Lukaku's record against the top 6 is particularly woeful and has been since he's been in the PL, any points in this would be a massive bonus and a surprise given his history against the stronger sides.

So, on reflection it seems that only GW9 looks like a comfortable situation with four out of the six games away from home, is there really any reason to fear selling him for this spell other than his huge ownership?

Those who can think back to a similar time last year when Ibra also had a huge ownership and went on a disappointing run, those who moved on to lower owned Costa left those who held on to Ibra behind so being handcuffed to is ownership has its big dangers even though it looks the most secure idea.

Meanwhile, in this same period, Aguero has four home games against Palace, Stoke, Burnley (this is C material in GW9 when Lukaku has his one good fixture) and Arsenal (who he always scores against) with away trips to West Brom and Chelsea (who he has a great record against, six goals in the nine games he's played)

So then lads, those with an open mind, are you willing to contemplate/discuss it and what are your thoughts or are you going to stay protected by his stats from his kind opening run and hope he don't regress when their opposition steps up in class?

Mods, any chance you can make this green please so we can get a proper discussion on the go for what could be a key moment to get right/wrong for the start of our seasons? Fear this will get lost in a sea of RMT's within 5 mins otherwise.

      This is a great post.

I've been firmly in the not selling Lukaku camp, partly because I have Jesus but also partyl because he's consistently scored so far this season.

But the above does provide food for thought. For me, i won't be moving lukaku on just yet, but potentially after the palace game

Interesting points, and formed part of the reason why I ditched Lukaku last week. Obviously that hurt this week but I feel he was exceptionally fortunate to get 12 points against Everton, and while not being captained regularly across this run of fixtures, 11.5m is a lot to be paying for him.

Yeah was a late kick in the balls haha. On the other hand though I profited from their late goals earlier in the season! Seems to be a pattern bought on by teams having to chase games late on when only 1 goal behind. Not sure how sustainable that output is....

Important thing to note is Lukakus stats v the top sides was as an everton player where he had a lot less support and chances created.
Only reason im not doing lukaku to aguerro is the risk he will be rested for champions league and I think at best he will only play 70 mins

I think around champions league anyone is vulnerable....but less so with Mourinho, who does like to stick to the same teams in competitions.

Southampton have yet to encounter a tough game. With weaker sides form follows fixture much more. Southampton's clean sheets are all against weak sides, meanwhile Everton have conceded lots against strong teams.

This will be Southampton's first test and you should check their underlying stats at home too - joint third worst in terms of shots in the box conceded.

I think on paper Lukaku could have a field day against Southampton and Palace, and as we've seen with Aguero it can be dangerous to overthink things around fixtures and assume rotation will strike.

But also worth noting that one of the scoutcast team has already dumped Lukaku so there was by no means a concensus around the issue.

I think what he's done here is that he just dwells on United fixtures and wants to create unnecessary reasoning for Lukaku to Aguero transfer. I don't find this post objective enough as you could write in similar style about City, Pep, rotation etc.

That was sort of my take on it too.

It would be like me saying ditch Aguero ahead of Palace because City play CL and Chelsea afterwards so he may be rested or be tired. He may, he may not - but I think any CL player can be at risk, so all we can do is pick good players and assume they will play unless we get some strong evidence to the contrary.

And with returns in four out of five Lukaku is certainly what I'd call 'a good player'.

      3. Freddo

That's part of the issue, sticking with the same players who play on Wed, travel home from Russia and play them again on Sat doesn't bring the confidence that they'll be anything other than lethargic and will just look to get through it economically with 3 points, Jose has that about him.

You contradict yourself slightly here, impossible to discredit Southampton keeping clean sheets in easy fixtures while at the same time over playing the credit to United because they scored goals and created big chances in easy fixtures, as you say, form follows fixtures so fully expect a dip for United in the upcoming run.

Shame football is not won on paper, anyone who captained Kane last week will surely agree, not sure it's a case of over thinking rotation but merely pointing out how difficult a week they face and how often team who play in Europe take time to get going on the following weekend.

Not sure what you mean about contradiction re form following fixtures.

This is specifically about Lukaku playing against Palace and Southampton - same, if not worse, level as their current easy games. No change for them.

But for Southampton they have yet to face a team as good as Man Utd.

Are you saying that Southampton is a hard game for Man Utd, in comparison to their other games so far?

In the last six times they've played eachother, United have won three, Southampton won twice and the game there last year was a 0-0 draw.

Yes, I'm saying Southampton will give United a sterner test at their ground than United have had so far where teams have thrown the towell in around 80 mins and made their final score look much more flattering than their actual performances.

Watching the games tell you more than just reading numbers.

Well then you should even look at how bad was Manutd record vs Everton till last season.
Manutd is totally different beast this season and it will be crazy to bet on fixtures over form especially in case world class striker like Lukaku playing for a top team

He makes up for first touch by holding the ball perfectly even in opponents penalty box with his super strength. If a player scoring 20 plus goals for years who is still 24 is not a world class player then dont know what is your definition of world class.

I think you are using stats for confirmation bias Jonty. Saints defensive stats are naturally going to be pretty ropey playing the weaker teams as they are pushing on trying to win games leaving themselves open.
When they play utd they will likely suit back and hit utd on the counter which will make them much more compact unless utd get an early goal.

The truth is we can't read too much into saints defensive stats as we haven't seen them play any big teams at home yet to see what they are likely to do defensively in these types of games.

Southampton have a good record against United, taken points off them since they came up, Palace is not a difficult fixture, said it's a difficult week with a trip to Russia and back and then zero time to recover/prepare for Palace on the Sat.

I sold him to bring in Kane.

From watching every United game, I could see how poor he was generally, how little he offered, noted the luck in a few of his goals and am chancing that the goals dry up with the hard fixtures.

I went for Kane based on the brilliant fixtures and matches away from home to give him a final chance to capitalise.

Ownership is a big worry but I just don't see him scoring big (unlike Aguero or Kane who can easily get hat-tricks).

He seems to be more of a slow and steady player at United but the first half of the season is the time to own him as when Ibra returns he will eat into his minutes.

Have a look at a compilation of Gary Lineker's goals - what you will see are scuffed shots in, goals coming off his head one yard out...no one ever talks about his wonder goals....yet he was one of England's most prolific strikers and did the business at the highest level for clubs.

With top strikers they can look awful...but if they are in the right place at the right time they get rewarded - that's their skill.

Lukaku isn't lucky to walk away with a goal and an assist from a match - he's doing his job perfectly. May not look like Messi or Ronaldo as he's doing it, granted.

Maybe his goals will dry up in hard fixtures -but Southampton and Palace are not in that bracket.

              That was my take too.

If you ask for a post to be a hot topic then that is inviting people to give their views - some of whom will agree, some won't.

Some may look at Southampton as being some incredible defensive unit that Lukaku will struggle to break down as his mind wanders to flights to Russia.

While others will look at a side low on confidence that has yet to face a tough side this season.

No one side is right but its good that both sides can put their points across.

To be fair, no one stated they were an incredible defensive unit (although in your five things to learn from GW5 you yourself praised them for being able to defend while waxing lyrical about their new centre half) it was more of a case of debating why you think United will turn up there and easily have their wicked way with them like they are a rubbish team, they aren't they can't score but in your own words, they can defend, it was only Palace but their midfielders looked great, not sure why that can't be praised in an easy fixture if you put United up there based on easy fixtures 🙂

Interesting that Mark also thought it was a tricky fixture last night, his judgement over the last 12 months has been pretty good.

        2. Still Unsure
            6 years, 7 months ago

Not sure that's a fair comparison to Lineker. There's a difference between being a poacher (that was Lineker's game) and looking awful.

Lukaku scores better goals from different ranges and angles, but that doesn't mean he doesn't look awful a lot of the time. And his first touch at times really isn't good enough.

Points wise, doesn't matter I know - they come how they come, but as I say, bit unfair on Lineker IMO.

I did exactly the same for the same reasons & it was too big a financial jump from Jesus to Kane.
I would add if Lukaku was around 11m I would have been more likely to keep him as maybe at that price he can justify "trundling" along.
I'm not sure his goals will try up but do see more potential for Kane to have bigger hauls in the short-term.
It seems a bit like last year when Kane was getting the stats but not scoring then Watford (a) it just changed. Wasn't playing well that game but then put one away and was off on a run.

Slow and steady is a good point, their defence is also steady, doubling up on the defence is probably just as appealing as owning him.

I thought just 12 points in 3 (swa, LEI, stk) was pretty meh - Pogba played in those three matches and his absence would suggest things will get worse, not better

He was only a few minutes away from another 2 pointer at the weekend
United may well keep scoring after 80 minutes but does that mean Lukaku will be playing 90 minutes of every match

Ive sold Lukaku after GW2. Not looking back eventhough Kane C hurt my OR with the Aguero and Lukaku hauls last weekend...

For me, right now, it's basically Aguero > Kane > Lukaku > Jesus > Morata.

Going with the first three is fine but if, like me, you're happy with someone cheaper (Vardy in my case) as your third striker, then it's ideally Kane + Aguero (or Jesus, maybe, but Kun now seems like the best out of the two).

If there's any team that can help Lukaku thrive against the top 6 sides, it's Jose's current Man U team. That's my only thought on why keeping him might be worthwhile long term.

Really? Jose seems quite a safety first guy in big games, parked the bus against the Ajax kids in the Europa Final, not sure he's going to go on the front foot which Lukaku needs to be on.

True, but if you're looking for an improvement from playing for West Brom and Everton against the top 6, then this fits the bill. He's getting better service than he's ever had, and even if Jose brings his bus Lukaku is more than able to get the goal or two he wants in any of those games. Drogba proved that's possible under Jose.

As if you'd ever get rid of him whilst he is consistently scoring goals and cheaper than Kane.
We seem to forget these are highly trained athletes, so a trip away to Russia isn't going to absolutely knacker them out is it.

Fixtures wise, not an issue unless you're expecting them all to be 0-0. Utd can easily win those 1-0 and it's likely to be Lukaku scoring.

Absolutely no reason to get rid until he stops delivering.

Isn't this just confirming the point? You say Lukaku can easily score in a one nil in their tough run, why would you settle for 9 points max from an 11.7m striker when Aguero, Jesus, Morata or moving his money on to Hazard or Sanchez who all have fixtures where big hauls could happen?

If he was 20% owned I don't believe this would even be a talking point, you'd move on and then back when the fixtures are kind because as a flat track bully, he is essential.

I think the basic issues that is making this discussion go round in circles is that you think Southampton is a tough game for United and others see it as an easy game.

Can I ask you why it's not listed as green and 1 and an easy fixture as opposed to 3 on the fantasy site?

It's not important but it seems only you want to convince yourself that it's an easy fixture and you are forced into captaining him.

The game last season was 0-0, as already stated, United have won three, Southampton two with the last game being a draw in their last six meetings.

I'd say that's quite an even recent record, if you tell yourself enough that it's an easy game you might start really believing it.

I think Southampton are a lottery to call right now, as they were in pre-season. With Lukaku you are looking at their defenders, and at the moment you have a very new CH pairing. With VVD about the picture it is even more unclear. But with home advantage and a few cleanies already in the bank I'd predict United score 1, no more than 2.

Because its an away game and they rarely if ever give a 1 to an away game,

Man City away to Watford only got a 2.
Tottenham away to Everton was considered a 4.

There is a wider discussion to have as to whether FPL are underestimating away games, perhaps. Or perhaps some feel that all away games are hard.

Sensible reasoning but it's not all there is to it - if you get rid for say Kun or Kane and they both score 4 in the next 2 while Lukaku blanks, you were right to get rid.

One of the real factors to consider might be the start that people have made. With his high ownership those without him may feel their poor rank is worth a non-Lukaku gamble (and yes it could backfire and REALLY do in their season). It may not even need a swap to a Man City guy, as the likes of Lacazette and later Morata and Vardy have tempting fixtures - together with a reinvest of the saved cash.

My thoughts are that United will start getting the 1 and 2-0s soon and Lukaku will do the same sort of thing as Costa last season and grind out the 6 pointers - which if you are looking to maintain rank is great.I'm at 2.5 million and I think selling him might be worth the clear risk.

Prefer Lukaku for the next 2 (sou, CRY) over Aguero (CRY, che). Personally I think Lukaku can match or even do better than him in the next 2.

We need to see if Aguero can get benched around CL fixtures. He has been benched once for no reason.
If Aguero is not benched and continues to do well next 2 games I’ll get him on wildcard during IT break.

        Great post.

I've sold Lukaku for Aguero as I believe he is less explosive than either Kun or Kane and less likely to hurt me in any given week.

I thought Lukaku was poor on Sunday and very lucky to get the goal as well as assist and I think Man U less likely to score big in weeks to come than Man City and Aguero.

Sticking with Kane and Kun for the medium term and will ride any Aguero rotation.

As someone with Cedric in my back four I rate Southampton's defensive set-up and I think they will stifle Man U on Sunday and Lukaku won't score big.

FPL is all about listening to views, looking a stats, watching the games and after that backing your own judgement.

One thing people do when comparing is sort of try to say Kane's 7 goals in two last games don't count from last year. Ok yes, those teams were down and out but he still scored 7 goals in two premier league games.

There is also the fact that he was injured for quite a few games. Kane's goals per minutes record was off the scale.

Kane and Kun are the top two. Then it's arguable if Lukaku is next, ahead of Jesús and possibly Morata after.

If Kane had returned 4 in 5 matches & spurs had the upcoming fixtures that utd do would their currently be a hot topic about selling kane?

Completely agree. I have Lukaku and Kane, only one player I'm considering selling and it isn't the joint top scorer. It is the player that has 2 goals in 5 games (including one cross/shot) and 2 blanks against the so called 'lesser' teams

More to do with him losing pens and therefore losing a big part of the chance for explosive returns imo. Utd have laboured in a lot of games but due to being a goal up they have managed to make the score very flattering in the last 10 mins of games. Maybe this will keep up all season but I doubt it. To me they still look like the will struggle to break down some teams leaving many blanks for lukaku..

The argument for getting Aguero is strong no question.

The argument for selling Lukaku this week less so.

Lukaku xG are unparalleled with his overall xG nearly 2 goals clear of his nearest rival (Aguero).

Lukaku will likely regress with tougher fixtures but his next 2 are fine and unequivocally better than Aguero next 2.

To talk about Aguero having got his points in less minutes misses the point that Lukaku is the most nailed on striker in the league.

He does not get dragged because he does not tire at the end of games.

He scores late goals because he does not tire at the end of games and he is still on the pitch always to score them. Defences struggle with his pace and physicality as they tire.

And like Aguero he has history of scoring goals.

The argument to switch this week really comes down to this one fixture where Aguero is standout captain but Lukaku is just as stand out in the same fixture next week.

Personally I'm holding Lukaku next 2 but will definitely look at it again when his fixtures truly turn week 8.

Some of the biggest problems with xg are it doesn't take account of fixture strength or game state. You will almost always get more big chances therefore higher xg if you are able to hit a weak team on the counter attack than if you are taking shots against a team camped in their own box.

If you are going to use stats you need to look at the reason behind the stats and not just use them to confirm your own bias.

No stats take account of fixture strength or game stats. They just tell you objectively what happened. In this case they are telling us Lukaku has had better chances to score more goals than any other player in the 5 matches played so far.

Of course you are free to apply your own subjective explanation for why the stats are as they are, though I am not completely clear what your point is in your second sentence? Southampton and palace are comparable to their previous 5 quite easy fixtures. If man utd get the lead early they will have opportunities to counter, especially late on. If they don't it will be harder. Same for any top 4 team playing a weaker team.

Your 3rd sentence is unnecessarily condescending, thought you were better than that Dino.

Apologies it probably is a bit condescending but people who use stats to promulgate their own theory without adding some form of caveat as to why these stats might be misleading or regress going forward just kind of annoy me a bit.

My main point is you are trying to draw conclusions based on xg stats from a ridiculously small sample size where utd have had almost everything go their way in the games. This is an almost futile exercise imo.

Take spurs as an example they have had the total opposite to utd in terms of not getting any time with opponents chasing the game so therefore don't have many big chances created either.

Re fixture strength that is a subjective thing so I won't go any further with it but re United's penchant for late goals I don't think it has anything to do with lukaku speed strength or stamina but all to do with game state. United do bring on some real pace v tired legs late on but these speedsters would not be half as effective if the opposition were camped in their own box holding out for a draw leaving no space for them to utilise their pace. Getting the first goal is of course a skill but there is a huge element of serendipity about it to. Would utd have got so much v Everton if they had not got that lucky screamer from Valencia (I say lucky as in very low chance conversion shot but great skill to execute)?

Depends which way you look at that, at Everton everything was about him, don't think playing for a lesser team ever held him back, they relied on him a lot more and fed him well.

Sometimes it's probably better to be a big fish in a small pond, his numbers were great there.

Of course it holds his stats back. Against the bigger sides, far less chances and no pens = less goals. Just unfair to compare him to kun with stats like those, which are incomparable.

Fair point, going to a better team doesn't always mean that results improve though, Berbatov was amazing at Spurs, slowed right down at United, Keane at Liverpool, Torres at Chelsea.

Not saying Lukaku won't score more in the bigger games but don't think it should be taken as a given either especially if Jose goes into cagey mode in those games like he has a habit of doing.

He still doesn't have pens though so you have to allow the pens in the comparison as they could be worth another 8-12 goals to kun in a season.

Hehe, this hot topic just won't die... seems everyone has an opinion on Lukaku.

My take is that he is doing the exact job he is being asked to do in the wider scheme of Mourinhoball: to be a big nuisance of a lump up top, occupying two defenders minimum, and then (when it's panic stations for the opposing defence and they forget about him) barge in and score by whatever body part available.

So, after the first week, let's review the points from this Hot Topic.

Was watching the City game but it sounds like the mighty Southampton defence hatred the United Juggernaught while they had to settle for grinding out a result.

Lukaku one goal and a yellow card.

City rampant again, Palace did well but once the first goal went in, it was one way traffic.

Aguero, one goal AND one assist.

Meanwhile, Kane explodes with a brace and Morata scores a hatrick.

To summarise the first gameweek, Aguero explodes, Kane explodes, Morata explodes, Phil Jones outscored 11.7m worth of Lukaku.

I think this thread has been justified even if Jonty lolled a bit too soon.

Starting to favour Brady over Gross in my WC team - is this madness?

Leroy Fer, may be one to consider.

No, makes sense, you got rotation plans for Brady or playing every match ?

I got Brady in a couple of weeks ago and don't regret it, stats are good, he passes the eye test, some decent fixtures and has already brought in a few points. I think he is a decent choice and prefer him to Gross

On the same choice, think Brady is better, more creative threat.

wheres the best place to get players performance/stats such rather than just fantasy points?
from watching recent weeks I really fancy the following to get on the scoresheet in the next few weeks..

        Ramsey
        Abraham
        Duffy
        Xhaka
        Mee

No need for a WC this week, just sort out that defence!

I'd be looking to bring in Jones, Kola, Otamendi perhaps.

Daniels > Jones looks the obvious move and possibly do Moreno > Burnley 4.5 for this week.

          That would give you

Bavies - Jones - Burnley4.5 at the back
