Dugout Discussion – Leicester vs West Brom

Gameweek 8 concludes at the King Power Stadium with Leicester City hosting West Bromwich Albion.

The Fantasy Football community will be torn heading into this encounter, with allegiances split between the home attack and the Baggies backline.

Jamie Vardy is undoubtedly the star turn on show. Owned by 16.3% of managers, the five-goal striker was brought in by 294,000 ahead of Gameweek 8, the third most popular transfer target. He has goals in his last two in front of his own supporters, but is yet to score against West Brom at home in three attempts.

Elsewhere for the Foxes, Harry Maguire boasts an ownership of 7.4%, attracting just over 40,000 new managers prior to Saturday’s deadline. The centre-back has a goal and an assist from his three home appearances so far.

Ahmed Hegazi remains the most popular asset in the West Brom camp. Still part of 1.3 million squads, he’s been benched by 353,000 (26.9%) ahead of tonight’s clash.

Meanwhile, Ben Foster was due to be backed by an ownership of just over 800,000 but will play no part in tonight’s match having been ruled out with a knee problem. Over 347,000 of his managers named Foster in their starting XI and now turn to their reserve keeper.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Which of these looks stronger:
    A) 4-3-3
    Silva, Eriksen, Richarlison
    Aguero, Morata, Kane

    B) 3-4-3
    Silva, Eriksen, Coutinho, Sterling
    Abraham, Morata, Kane

(The extra defender in A would be 5.0 or under)

I was watching LEI-WBA last night hoping for some unlikely Hegazi points off the bench.

Noticed that Gibbs is quite attacking in the current WBA set-up. More so than Dawson. Whats peoples view on him as a differential?

Morning guys. Save FT? I could do with some encouraging words after opting for Silva and Hazard instead of Eriksen and Sterling on wildcard 🙁 probably would just have to get over it now and look forward to having those 2FT's on GW10. Luckily gameweeks start to go fast forward now.

    Elliott
    Davies, Jones, Stones
    Silva, Hazard, Richarlison, Choupo-Moting
    Jesus, Kane, Vardy

Not too worried about Rose atm, I think he’s another Walker in the making. Poch will prioritise Davies (he deserves to keep his place anyway). There will be some rotation but probably not as much as we think. In addition to coming back from a very long injury Rose is reportedly on his way out of Spurs, possibly in January. Thoughts?

He is best LB in the PL imo. If he has recovered well and once he builds up match fitness, I think he will play frequently.

Depends on what formation you play. In a 4 defender formation the occiasionni show by Rose shouldn't matter. Assuming the spare MF or striker gets regular starts.

I'm looking to ditch Davies in the coming weeks..I think Rose just is a better player and after he can build up match fitness I think he'll start over Davies. I don't think he'll move forward in January but that's just my gut on that.

I know it is almost impossible to read into Pep's team selection, but imo if Jesus starts tonight and plays most of the match, I can see Kun starting at the weekend with Sane and Sterling. Jesus played all that time for Brazil too, I think he wants to give him a breather soon.
