Scout Notes

Scout Notes – Gameweek 8 – Monday

Two moments of quality emerged from Monday night’s Gameweek 8 climax. Unfortunately, neither were from significant Fantasy assets, and both wiped out the clean sheets on offer.

Here’s the notes on Monday night’s encounter at the King Power Stadium.

Mahrez steals Vardy’s thunder

It was left to Riyad Mahrez (8.4) to rescue a point for Leicester City, atoning for a dreadful miss earlier in the match, as the Algerian snaffled up Islam Slimani’s knock-down to drill the Foxes equaliser.

Owned by just 3.6% of Fantasy Premier League managers, Mahrez is unlikely to convince as a potential asset in the current landscape, with midfielders from Man City in particular currently dominating his price bracket.

Monday’s goal was his first of the season which has arrived from 18 shots so far, with just four hitting the target.

But Mahrez tops the Leicester ranks for attempts overall, with Jamie Vardy (8.6) back on 15 having mustered just a single effort on Monday night.

Vardy was partnered with Kelechi Iheanacho (6.7) who surprisingly replaced Shinji Okazaki (5.6) in the starting XI. The Japanese international stayed at home over the break, so Craig Shakespeare’s decision was unexpected. Over 51,000 managers had signed Okazaki prior to Gameweek 8.

That was dwarfed by the 294,000 who moved for Vardy. They will have been disappointed by Monday night’s showing but will remain confident of returns from forthcoming fixtures with Swansea (a), Everton (h) and Stoke City (a).

Foster misses out as Baggies are breached

Ben Foster’s injury was the big pre-match news, confirming reports on Saturday that he had sustained a problem in training.

A knee complaint, the full prognosis is not yet known, but Foster remains a doubt for the visit to Southampton in Gameweek 9.

It seems the injury was sustained while Foster played with his son on the garden. A freakish setback which Tony Pulis described as “an enormous worry”.

“At the moment we don’t know exactly what it is. He was playing with his son in the back garden and he’s just tweaked his knee and we’re a little bit concerned because he’s had the cruciate. There was no way in a million years we were going to take the risk with him.”

Boaz Myhill stepped in but was unable to prevent Mahrez’ second-half leveller. Indeed, the stand-in keeper suffered his own injury – confirmed by the player himself as a dead leg. He will need to be assessed ahead of the St Mary’s trip with the 21,993 managers who have Myhill in reserve for Foster now facing the unlikely prospect of having no active goalkeeper.

West Brom’s defence have now kept just a single clean sheet in their last six Gameweeks ahead of a gruelling run of fixtures. Man City (h), Chelsea (h) and Spurs (a) all loom in the next five Gameweeks.

That run is also unlikely to promote any interest in Nacer Chadli (5.7) despite his superb dead-ball strike for the Baggies goal.

The Belgian was making his first start of the season, having been out of favour to this point, while also struggling with a recurring hamstring injury.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    Where does everyone sit overall?
    I'm currently on 330744

And who's your most consistent player?
Mine I think is Phil Jones, only one GW when he scored less than 6 points.

I’m about 640k - which isn’t bad for me at this stage of a season. My most consistent is probably Lukaku to be fair - only 2 out of 8 have been blanks. Since I got Gross for GW4, he’s only blanked once too.

Down to 104,000 after a poor weekend. Yoshida probably my most consistent even though I ditched him on WC. 3 clean sheets, a goal and an assist in the 7 weeks I had him and picked up a few bonus points

Pretty happy with my current midfield:

Salah - Eriksen - Sterling - Atsu (Carroll).

Eriksen is very consistent, and Sterling is looking great value. Atsu enabling the rest of the team.

Salah is a little annoying because I don't expect him to get anything versus Spurs so that will be 3 games blanking but I'm confident he'll return after that.

If I get rid of Vardy I may go cheaper 3rd FWD and beef up that Atsu spot, and I'm also looking at Richarlson on wildcard.

I'm jealous of your mids Andy, and I wildcarded last week..Eriksen, Sterling and Pool mid look like what I'd like to have in few weeks time. Currently on Hazard, Silva, Choupo and Richarlison so probably that's not too bad as Hazard can become anyone. Little frustrating feeling to not have Eriksen/Sterling nevertheless.

People getting cold feet on Eriksen but the guy is delivering every other week. Averaging 7ppg so far.

Fixtures about to toughen up but with this ability to get bonus from just a single attacking return he's looking good still for me.

Silva looks a good alternative to Sterling, has been consistent and looks nailed. Sterling is scoring impressively though, same amount of goals as Aguero and Jesus!

Hazard could do well this week but I still think Morata is the one to have from Chelsea.

Coutinho is a cheaper alternative to Eriksen with better fixtures and just as much potential for consistency/bonus.

I guess a lot may not want Kane and Eriksen over this tricky period and with Wembley thrown in, you can see why some may look to move away from him for 3 or 4 weeks.

Fair enough if you don't already own Eriksen you might not want to bring him in but I don't see many arguments for using a transfer to get rid

I own Eriksen and I'm considering the Coutinho switch next week, don't see why you need to be scared of hopping on to an equal player with better fixtures.

Did the same this week, went Salah to Sterling, no complaints, there's no such thing as a season keeper this year when there's so many talented players to chose from and not enough slots to have them all.

I shipped out Eriksen short term to get Silva and Sterling in. He is class though, had him consistently for the last 2 season. If Davies minutes decrease Eriksen corner taking will go up also.

Also agree with Morata statement. I think Morata and Chelsea defender will be all my Chelsea stock.

Eriksen is looking great this season. WC him out this week to bring in Silva, Sterling, Which overall paid off. Will be looking at when and how to get him back.

I think you have to keep hold of Salah now. If you were going to take him out, it should of been this week, but you've got 2 solid, consistent(ish) mids and 2 gamblers. Thats a good balance.

Vard to Abraham is quite likely in the next few weeks for me, where this money goes though will depend if Midfielders continue to perform.

        Hazard......Sanchez ......who???

The lesson you should have learned is to have a balanced team. Some weeks defenders will score, some weeks attackers will score. If you have them all covered, you'll make progress.

Agree with this, trying to chase certain areas is something you'll rarely win, finding balance so you have chances to score well in each area makes more sense.

You have 5 defenders, 3 should be strong.

5 mids, 3 should be strong.

3 strikers, 2 should be strong.

Allows more flexibility to jump on and off premiums and less chance to get caught short like in this past week where Kane and Lukaku both blanked, their ownership didn't hurt anyone this week.

Disagree with this. What difference does it make to get to spread your points across each GW, rather than get highs and lows? If the individuals in your team are better on average in the "unbalanced" team than in a "balanced" version, then you'll get more points in the "unbalanced" team, and vice versa.

Cover more bases, more chances with better players all over to produce points.

I agree with you, having a balanced team is correct to start but if you have defenders and forwards, (like this season so far) out scoring mids then thats where your money goes. Injuries, formation and overall tactics change from season to season biasing your funds to different positions is where you win this game - hence the topic, is it time to re-distribute funds to midfielders.

Your rationale still groups players by position, but points come from individual players. I wouldn't pump money into midfield simply because the midfield average is high. I would want to get the specific players that are likely to bring returns in the coming weeks, whether they are midfielders or not.

If I were to WC, it just so happens that I would likely have room for 4 or 5 decent midfielders, but it might be that I can't quite afford them, and could easily find myself with a 2- or 3-man midfield because I found better value from a different combination of players.

I wouldn't try to think of it as defs vs mids vs forwards too much. Sure it can be useful to factor in the value elsewhere in each position, but this view can also be the source of many myths. I like to remind myself that points come from individual players as much as possible, but the problem is that other people don't, so my views often clash with polar opposite thinking on here!

I think this is where a lot of WC fall down. they concentrate on starting 11. Flexibility in defence and mid is vital IMO, or you find yourself forcing a transfer/taking a hot if one players doesn't play - prime example is Davies this week, a lot of guys in my mini league had him, playing a 4/3/3 but had Carroll on the bench.

    Morning all.

What to do with Harry Kane? If Morata is fit I may bring him in and captain him.

Still not sure how confident I am in captaining a Man City player, although if Sterling misses out in Champions League I may go for him, although I wouldn't predict Burnley to get rolled over either.

I personally wouldnt ditch Kane. He will get a bag full of goals this season. Im not falling into the trap of transferring him out one week missing a haul then bringing him back in the next week. I do stuff like that far too often, I know people have their doubts about Wembley but its not like some curse is set in stone. Kane will score at Wembley its just when, and why not vs Liverpool

Think Kane is a season keeper and don't want to start playing hokey cokey. Currently big 3 up top which may change on wildcard. Agree Morata is a good option wiht very decent fixtures over the long run, but will probably be Lukaku or Jesus who make way over Kane.

Pretty smooth this week. Took a hit (-4) and got rid of Salah (3), Lukaku (2) and JWP (0). Brought in Sterling (15), Jesus (13) and Silva (7). Interestingly, when I floated these moves on the site I got a fairly lukewarm response but went ahead with them all the same - mostly because I was sick of JWP stinking up my team.

Anyway, absolutely delighted with a net gain of 26 points and now have the city boys in place and ready for Burnley at home next week. Also jumped up nearly 100,000 places to 63k overall.

      Me me me me !

Decided to save a transfer and go with no Man City. After fails from Lukaku Hernandez Kane (c) and a no show from BDavies watching Man C scoring 7 was tough but it was OK I had Sanchez and Ramsey against a Watford side who are suspect at home. Both Arsenal players werent in the squad resulting in me only playing 10 players and ending up with 35 all out. The only positive was Jese's assist from the bench...

Played WC. Gained 30p on that. I'd say thats a well played chip.

Kept Kane, Eriksen, Silva, Abraham (tempted by Vardy all IB), Elliot, Jones.
Transfered Hart out when i avtivated WC, put back in once he fell 0.1 and played him. Captained Kane btw.

Rank rise up to 21k from 200k

      Lukaku -> Jesus
      Mikhitaryan - > Sterling
      Ritchie - > Richarlison
      Kolasinac - > ben davies

Rough: transferred in Azpi for Mendy (used free hit last week)
Smooth: got Jesus for -4 and got TC off the 2nd (yes) bench spot because of Davies and Mbemba no-shows!

Finished on 64 and in the top 20k 🙂

Took out Bavies on my WC thinking Rose and CL will affect his mins.
Was happy looking at the Spurs team sheet with no Bavies and had OTA, Luiz, Ward and VVD atb.
Only to realize later I had Carroll as my 1st sub and couldve got 8 points instead of all the 1s.

Smooth: Utilised my Free Hit Chip to gain ground on ML Rivals and improve rank. Picked the 3 top City scorers. 65 points. Moved almost a million places up in the ORs.

Rough: Captained Kane, Bavies benched, Doubled up on Chelsea Defence and had Hazard...Could have been so much better! Happy with the result overall though 🙂

Smooth - 58pt WC, usual suspects.
More importantly, my OR now (21K) is already better than my final OR last season. Halved every week for the past 4 weeks.

Terrible 41 pointer, lowest score of the season.

Rough; Bailly & Davies both missing shut-outs, only Suttner available as a sub so fielded 10 players for the second week running. Kane (c).

Smooth; Mkhi>Silva went ok, Jesus, my man Gross.

Dropped from 51k to 90k. Got 2 FTs though to have a tidy up.

Rough = selling Eriksen as part of a -4. But did get in Silva and funded Firmino to Jesus as a result so should pay. Just hurts to sell a player for a hit and watch them get a double figure haul.

Rough:10 points from my non-Swansea players. Kept Morata to save a transfer, but left no subs on the bench. Sanchez and Davies no-shows meant I'd spent a whole lot of money on a whole lot of zeros. Azpi scored an own goal, and Kane captaincy disappointed again. My main differential, Carroll, seems to be joining everyone else's teams via autosub anyway! My worst week with the 5-2-3 formation, with GR 4.95m (I didn't know there were this many teams in FPL!).

Smooth: 14 points from my Swansea players, Carroll and Fabianski.

Rough. Selling Aguero when I saw he was out for weeks, played the free hit chip the week before so still had him when the GW opened, was fuming when I saw him training, had to take a hit to stay on my transfer path as a result.

Smooth. Brought Jesus in for him who hauled and my hit (Salah to Sterling) also hauled, 70 point week, up to a 6k rank.

Still not happy about Aguero and his dodgy injury but happy with the positive outcome.

Smooth: Slight green arrow after WC. Brought Jesus and Silva in.

Rough: Captained Kane despite being on Jesus all week because of ‘guaranteed minutes’. Ryan loses clean sheet and potential 10 pointer in the dying minutes. Thought I’d confirmed Tom Carroll as first sub for Davies but I had Choupo-Moting ahead of him 🙁

The remaining 9 players scored 12, yes 12 freaking points and 2 of those players were autosubbed in for Davies and Clark (Romeu and Cork). Dropped from 400k to 850k. Captained Kane.

I've finally had a smooth week after a tough start to the season. I wildcarded the likes of Mkhitaryan, Firmino and Lukaku out during the international break and brought in Sterling, Eriksen and Jesus among others. I ended up with 67 points, rose from 1.5m to 695k, and my WC team did 34 points better than the team I would have played otherwise.

Rough gameweek in the end with 41 bang average after wildcard. My punt on Pedro didnt work but the worst part was haing 3 defenders (Saints double up and and Dunk and Vardy going into sunday and accumulated a meagre 5 points from them. With all those big hitting defenders not getting any points and cs very few on saturday i thought i could really climb but no such luck. Dunk and van dijk came so close...
Smooth, nothing really but Fabianski cs was nice and Jesus brace too. Davies no show was awful as people ted to get Carroll as sub as i git Dunk, so not only lost 5 points but even more so because aof the autosub

Pretty happy with my team but Pedro making me a bit nervous, i might take him out but waiting for that Chelsea team sheet wednesday before i decide.

      Woof, mostly rough this week:
      - Played my WC and netted only 32 points, worst of the season, which resulted in a bunch of red arrows.
      - Had brought in Jesus at the start of the WC, but dropped him at the last moment for Hazard (and Joselu instead of Abraham).
      - 5-man defense of Davies/Luiz/Ward/Stones/Maguire nets 6 points.
      - Captained Kane.
      - Half my WC drafts included Sterling, but the final one did not.

Searching in vain for some smooth:

      Long post incoming...

Is this season all about balance and flexibility?

So far in just 8 gameweeks we started with going with expensive mids (remeber start of the season with Pogba,Mkhi,Eriksen,Salah,Silva all doing great), then everyone was on 3 big expensive forwards (with Kane,Lukaku,Morata,Firmino,Lacca fireing goals for fun) and after that we had rise of defenders(ManU,City,Arsenal etc keeping CS in series) where lot of people going with 5-2-3 formation which was until this season unimagionable.

Is going with let's say 2 big hitters in each line (2 expensive def, mids and forwards) right way to go, building your team in a way that it is very flexible, and that you can with just 1 or max 2 transfers switch formation.

Flexibility seems to me to main theme of the year, not just with formation but with teams also, jumping between teams seems to be delivering points, everyone who WC-ed during int break and got rid Liverpool and ManU attackers in favor of ManCity players got hugely rewarded, but in a couple games fixtures will turn, and maybe getting back players like Pogba, Mkhi,Salah, Lukaku will be on the cards. Should we be ready to load up on players from few teams for a short period of time, and move them around as fixtures and form turn? Is the time of put Sanchez, Haz, Kun in my team and relax and look at the points over?

i think the idea will be looking at fixtures and teams xGs. Thats why it is easier to load up with teams that have greater xGs such as the big six compared with teams like Brighton or WBA. Flexibility is always key, for instance, the back five heavy hitters need their team to concede just a goal and the entire clean sheet is wiped out.

may also be worthwhile to as well leave some money iTB to allow you more flexibility such as the case or argument for replacing Jesus with Lukaku or Aguero

I did exactly that on my WC...left some money in the back so i can switch Jesus to Kun or Lukaku in case there are sign of him beeing rested

Flexibility is not the theme of this year, it is vital every year.

That is why 3-4-3 is so great. It is only a small tweak away from 4-4-2 by upgrading 1 defender, or a tweak away from 3-5-2 by upgrading a mid.

5 at the back formations might work for a while but are the most inflexible in the long run.

A 12.8m striker cant score at home to Swa, Bur and Bou. Is he really required in the team?
A frontline of Kaku-Morata-City striker provide better balance in the team with great captaincy options every week even to cover Kanes easy away fixtures.

With UTD, seemingly winning the battle of the clean sheets, and City winning the all-out attack battle, who else should we consider in our defence? (Despite Cities 5 clean sheets, I'm thinking that maybe a wasted City spot when their midfield offers such amazing value in attack)

      Spurs? Anyone else?

With Liverpool and Arsenal huffing and puffing and even Chealsea not consistent enough, should the core of the team be made of Spurs, City and Man Utd? After all they are they main contenders for the title and will offer consistency all season (barring key injuries). I think having 6 players of these teams is a bare minimum with four of them in the attacking department.

With so many quality players in the league and not enough slots to have them all, is this the season to un-handcuff yourself from the fear of ownership?

Will the fear of ownership prove to be as big a danger to players as it would in previous years when there was a clear template to get on board with?

Is this the year to focus on making sure you have 11 players you feel will score points and not worry so much about getting hurt by players you don't have or be forced into a position of having to keep players because you're too scared to sell them?

With just the 4 clean sheets out of 20 this game-week, is it a worry having a lot of funds tied up in defence?
Do you feel that pricey attacking WBs/FBs (Alonso, Bellerin, Valencia,Walker, Davies, etc.), from top six teams, will prove worth the outlay? If so how many would you like in your squad going forward?

Burnley have (my recollection) really bad stats in terms of expected goals against and shots conceded, but have managed some big results away from home against big teams. Will they defy the stats again and should we captain elsewhere or are they onto a hiding?

Do we need Harry Kane when it seems like that seems like theres much better value up top this year. Kane will start firing at home at some point but for the most expensive player in the game not to be producing against Burnley, Swansea and Bournemouth at home, as well as Spurs being poor, is he really worth the money with the likes of Aguero, Jesus, Morata and Lukaku for less?

This season is making transfers to protect team value by avoiding price drops and gaining team value worth prioritising over other options such as changing formation or fixture swings?

With so many expensive players performing this season in all positions, surely team value is more important than ever but at what cost?

Is it so that those players who do not play regularly their value drops more easily comparing to those who play. And the same other way round. Players who not play every GW just do not raise? Mbemba now 13% owns him, ownership has raised more than 10% points? Still 4.0.

      1) Should we change our mindset on premium goalkeepers?

      2) How many clean sheets will Manchester United keep this season?

      3) How many blanks in plum home fixtures will it take for Mark to stop unequivocally praising Harry Kane? Can we keep the most expensive player in the game if he can only perform in 19 games out of 38?

      4) Have Man City broke fantasy football? Is triple Man City attack essential?

      5) If you have Eriksen, do you need Kane?

      6) What's in Andy's back pocket?

      7) Will Sanchez and Hazard make it to their usual 200 points this season?

      8) What advice would you give to fantasy managers who have had a bad start to the season?

      9) Is it time to get rid of Ben Davies?

      10) What are your thoughts on Jonty's and Luke's Wildcard teams? Is it sensible to have Five-Sixths of your main attacking players from just two teams?

      11) How many successful captain picks have you had so far this season? Do we need to change our approach and take a few risks when picking our captain?

      12) What practical applications does the new xA and xG data have for our teams? What can you tell us that will help us get ahead in our mini leagues?

Scarcity of options in defence? And should be stick to the heavy investment in defence ?

Only last week, we had lots of options to choose in Defence. But as of now there is a real scarcity of options. People are favouring triple city attack so city defender for most are out of the option who are infact such good options to have out of all.

Jones Looks fixture proof so he is the one. But after that....

Cheslea are without Kante and with over 6m outlay in their defenders 2 2 points are just not worth it.

Arsenal are shaky with bad fixtures coming.

Spurs have some tough fixtures and our favourite darling Davies is now fading out a little due to Rose coming back.
Saints defensively have been pretty poor.

Are there any good defenders that are not mainstream but worthy to look at?

Should we stick to our guns with heavy investment at the back?

Or Should the funds be now allocated more to our forward areas instead of splashing big on shiny Defenders?

Saints defenders.. are they all that despite fixtures in their favor until GW12? Forster doesn't look so great... And Bavies... twice now something unexpected has come up on game day which means he's rested. Seems suspicious, should we be swapping him out given this AND Spurs tough fixtures.

        Eriksen is going nowhere.

Not sure whether to move on Bavies or Monreal at the moment, Spurs fixtures are terrible though Aresnal's not great.

Depends on definition of dullard - eg - to some ditching Lukaku and Salah was very risky - to me it seemed the dullest move in the world as was just following fixtures.

Big decision this week - ditch or keep Kane - arguably ditching given home form and fixtures is actually dull.

@FFScout_Jonty Question. Zaha has great fixtures, scored the match winning goal but got no bonus. Is this a worry for future returns?

          6 years, 6 months ago

I think i can answer this one before the scoutcast, Zaha looked dead on his feet very early on in the second half (understandably so as he's just back from injury) but this led to him losing the ball a hell of a lot and his main task seemed to be to just dribble for as long as he could to kill time which was Roy's tactic

Wouldn't be too worried as most matches wont go this way as he'll be fitter and they wont always come up against a Chelsea

        Eriksen
        David Silva
        Sterling
        Sane
        Coutinho
        Salah
        Richarlison
        Zaha

All reasonably priced in comparison to the strong strikers, all looking good with nice fixtures to follow.

Is the game slowly evolving into a period of the 5 man midfield?

I think a discussion on Chelsea would be worthwhile. They have an amazing run of fixtures from now for about 18 weeks, but their form is inconsistent. Are they being affected by Morata and Kante injuries, or are there problems behind the scenes which are more deep rooted? There's a lot of speculation about Conte leaving at the end of the season etc.

Therefore, is it wise to own a Chelsea player over this run? If so, who? And is it more sensible to hedge your bets on them by only owning one of their cheaper players, rather than an Alonso, Hazard or Morata?

Would appreciate a discussion on what’s going on at Chelsea.

As a new Luiz owner, what do we think is going on in the defense department. Surely letting a team like palace through should be a good enough shock to the system! Or do they miss Kante THAT much!

For those of us with both a Chelsea and Man City defender, who would you lose first in order to upgrade elsewhere?

Is a cheaper 3rd mid like Richarlison or Zaha viable over players like Eriksen, Silva, Sterling & Pool mids?

        So basically which is better?

        A) 8-8.5 mid & 8.5 fwd

        B) 6-7 mid & 10.5 fwd

        Appreciate your thoughts! 🙂

Does it matter than Man City attackers are vulnerable to rotation, if they're still going to score 15% more points than anyone else when they do play?

Dealing with rotation particularly the CL sides?
It is basically 2 games a week now until January except. IB. Could well be 2 games then for many players.
City have so many mids that can be rotated in that really don't weaken the side - gundogan, silva (the other one).

How do the top managers tread the line between making the safe captain choice and going for the slightly risky one

Please dont answer grow some balls 😛 I was dead set on Sterling captain but in the end chickened out and went for Kane who i felt was safer and that everyone in my ml would captain, although i expected Sterling to outscore him.

My question is about fear itself :O

With just the 4 clean sheets out of 20 this game-week, is it a worry having a lot of funds tied up in defence?
Do you feel that pricey attacking WBs/FBs (Alonso, Bellerin, Valencia,Walker, Davies, etc.), from top six teams, will prove worth the outlay? If so how many would you like in your squad going forward?

In Pep's current setup one of Aguero, Jesus, Sterling and Sane will be on the bench each week. Does this mean we should just be happy to own them and not trust them with the captaincy?

          How many is too many?
          Best option in midfield?

Not quite all the mods are biased towards Kane, just most of them. I don't currently own him and captained Jesus this week instead, rising from 15th to 8th in the Mods and Cons League as a result. Doing something different sometimes pays dividends - but not always. It can lead to big gains or losses, whereas playing safe is likely to result in smaller gains or losses. Many players are scared of possible failure if they try to be different, even when they suspect that the alternative might actually be better.

I suppose that Kane is currently part of the template, which is not surprising considering the number of goals he has scored in the last two seasons and the number he is continuing to score apart from in Premier League matches at Wembley. But there are alternatives and, as Ruth_NZ pointed out the other year, following the template or the wisdom of the crowd does not necessarily guarantee success - it just results in finishing in a similar position to the others who do the same thing.

De Gea has 51 points this year, behind only Valencia, Eriksen, Aguero and Lukaku, for an affordable price of 5.6. Question: why are we all missing out on this player.

If Harry Kane and Aguero/Jesus are undroppable (big if) then is it Morata or Lukaku in the 3rd striker spot for the next 6-8 weeks? Is this the opportunity to take on Lukaku's massive ownership, in order to climb the rankings, or is it potentially fatal - United have 2 tough games but then a decent run. Or is it the opportunity to drop Kane for a stint - potentially much more risky.

I've gone for Hazard in midfield and Lukaku/Kane/Aguero up front - so am firmly on the fence.

With a current ownership 42.3%, would so many of us still include Kane in our teams more out of fear of what he potentially could score as oppose to what he does score?
Is it time we looking at Kane's fixture difficulty in the sense of Home or Away vs his opponent?

By that, meaning (for Kane at least) is there an argument for fixture difficulty being more player focused instead of team focused.

I only include Kane as he is one of the most clinical strikers when on a roll, and Spurs play to him most of the time.. Ownership means zilch , lost Lukaku on WC.
