Pep sunk his teeth into our Gameweeks, while an old moggy took a chunk out of my partner’s arm, depriving me of my appearance on this week’s ScoutCast. I’m not sure which was more painful.

At the mercy of the local A&E, Jonty, Andy and Az became my other emergency service as they stepped up on this latest episode.

Inevitably, Guardiola’s Man City teamsheet dominates your questions and the ensuing chatter. Elsewhere the boys re-appraise Kane after his Wembley haul, revisit Liverpool with their fixtures about to swing and consider whether the heavy-hitting midfielders are poised for a renaissance ahead of Gameweek 10.

As far as I know, I’ve edited out all the “pussy” jokes.

    Reasonable to expect Kane to fall at least 0.1 till next GW?
    In that case not keeping him on WC, rather buy him back at a 0.1 TV loss.

        Re: Free Hit Chip from FPL as a lot of questions being asked about it. 2nd time posting this today...

        Hi TFF,

        None of the players you sign during your Free Hit Gameweek (before or after you activate the Free Hit chip) will remain in your team when the deadline passes, and your team will revert to the previous line-up.

        You should find that the TC column for the Gameweek in question on your 'View Gameweek history' page displays a 0, indicating that you weren't deducted any points when playing your Free Hit.

        Please also note that when playing the Free Hit chip, any saved free transfers will be lost, and you will be back down to one free transfer for the next GW.

    Put it this way, this is the one GW for months that most of us weren't going to captain Kane anyway.

    He has Palace after Man U. Palace.

    Is anyone in their right mind really going to sell him? I would still bring him in on WC.

        I understand that not risking him tomorrow will be with a view to him being able to play against Real.

        I know nothing's definite, but he should be OK for the next GW.

          If not, we will have a clearer picture on who starts out of Aguero/Jesus vs Arsenal by then.

          If you were going to choose a fixture for Kane to miss, United away isn't at all bad. Particularly if you've got Jones who is now far more likely to get us points.

    So in the short season we've had so far Mourinho has said two players are 'out but will be assessed' (whatever that's supposed to mean), Pep has rotated more than any manager before and Poch has said he's not injured he's just tired even though he didn't know that. We cannot trust managers comments re injuries to important players
