Dugout Discussion – Man United vs Spurs

The Gameweek begins at Old Trafford and a big clash between Manchester United and Spurs which, in Fantasy terms, has been turned on its head by Harry Kane’s injury.

The striker has been sold by more than 750,000 managers ahead of today’s deadline following the revelation of his absence from this match. Son Heung-min is trusted with leading the Spurs attack in his absence against a Man Utd defence which are yet to concede in a home match.

Jose Mourinho’s tactics will be pivotal to today’s outcome and the potential for Fantasy returns. United have set up to mirror Spurs three-man defence with Eric Bailly returning alongside Phil Jones and Chris Smalling. It remains to be seen if this signals the intention to attack the visitors, promoting the prospects of both Romelu Lukaku and the returning Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Lukaku goes into this match on the back of successive blanks with his remaining 52.4% ownership desperate for him to produce today with a Gameweek 11 trip to Chelsea up next. The Belgian has been sold by over 314,000 managers ahead of today’s deadline.

    This GW has broken me.

    Doing Diouf to Kane for -8 at 2AM in the morning.
    The on/off relationship with FH chip with a deadline set at 10.30AM. Still couldn't decide.

    Then panicked and tried building a team at 11.15AM and bailing out as it was too late to commit now.

    Oh and Vardy captain.

      It's just been a funny season. I can't recall a season where we've had to worry about whether 2/3 players will play or not every week. Horrendous.

    Holy moly ML leader was 59 points ahead of me and I was worried about taking a hit, I didn’t. However he took a -20 hit after using his free hit last week and wildcard the week before. I have never seen a -20 on a team that isn’t just going for value.

    Jesus & Sterling last week, i move to Kun early before cup game due to price changes now no Kun or Sterling this!! They gotta go can't handle it anymore!! Luckily both RLC and Wimmer starting if needed from my bench, slight saving grace i suppose until Kun & Sterling both come on for the last 10/15 and blank!!

    Firmino - 6 straight blanks and sat at 18% ownership vs Jones on 11%. Astonishing really considering for big parts of the season a lot of people have tried to go with 3 big up top.

    I'm one of those that's kept Firmino because I've had a bigger problem every week. I won't begrudge the Scousers a late comeback for 2-2 with a Firmino brace.

      Agreed. I own Aguero but knew he wouldn't start. Got rid of sterling for Silva seeing as the latter was rested and former played a mamoth game. Common sense.
