Our work behind the scenes, which is set to bring referee data to the members’ section early next week, is now close to completion.

From that point, members can expect another Development Squad article, updating you with details on the full data on offer.

With that in mind, we thought we’d roll out an introductory piece will share some data and offer a basic analysis of the “men in black” ahead of Gameweek 12.

Essentially, the idea is to look for any patterns in the numbers which could potentially help shape Fantasy decision-making for the round of fixtures ahead.

    A bit late but: fantasy managers in search of a cheap top 6 defender were dealt a stroke of luck as it was confirmed that Nathaniel Clyne would remain injured for another three months, making way for Joe Gomez to come in as an almost assured starter at right back. The feeling of joy quickly faded as managers were reminded that Gomez plays for Liverpool.

    B) Salah+Atsu+Chilwell (5th DEF playing, hopefully)
    C) Salah+Gray+Mbemba (better chance for attacking returns from 4th MID slot)

    Think rotation will be a nightmare soon. For example, 13 games in 45 days for Liverpool, some like Sevilla/Spartak being VERY important. Seems like we've accepted rotation of City assets due to their explosiveness when they do play...

        Lukaku is against some smaller teams in the next 3, he is a very good captain pick and he also has some form! Mkhitaryan did not do too bad over the break too.

        Time to wait on Aguero news but his health problem is concerning

    I like the warm fuzzy feeling that having 2 FT gives me but I'm weighing it against Cedric + Brady - > Mee + Zaha. Don't know if it's a good idea when there is that injury doubt namned Kun in my front 3...will obvoiusly wait for some kind of words coming out of Pep's mouth before the deadline.

    Saw many comments regarding ManCity assets in terms of rotation risk - "to have strong bench". How that helps, while if benched, all of them usually have from 5 to 30 minutes as a sub?

      There's been a fair few occasions where the benched player hasn't had a cameo (Aguero vs WBA, Sterling vs Burnley)

      Better to have a strong bench for when that happens.

    Looking to swap Ritchie for Zaha at the expense of Davies. Leaving me £5m for a defender. Any ideas, Scott dann at 4.7 has crossed my mind because of favourable fixtures. But then again his form is terrible.

    Any reason I shouldn’t do Bellerin + Vardy -> Daniels + Morata (-8)?

    I know this place is very averse to hits but:

    Morata is a huge upgrade on Vardy and Chelsea have great upcoming fixtures. Outscored Vardy by +6 last week alone.

    Daniels is a downgrade on Bellerin but Arsenal have a tough run until Christmas whereas Bournemouth have some of the best fixtures I’ve ever seen.
