I like your defense, similar to mine and the guy's who is currently top of FPL, good differential.

My only problem with this team is no Aguero or Sterling.

Why not get rid of Vardy, Firmino and Mhiki,,,,,and bring in Aguero, sterling and a real cheap forward,, also you could downgrade Pickford to make this happen.

Side note for myself;

Drop Vardy, Azpi* and Monreal
Bring in Aguero, Chilwel and Masuaku*
Leaves 0.4 itb.

GW 28 could be brutal for you if blank for the 4 teams

Maybe had too much value in bench players early in season... nothing wrong with a strong bench though. I had a 15 and 10 b2b weeks but nothing like yours!

139 benched points here. Think the key is to have duds that are guaranteed 1-2 points at the very least and are cheap as peanuts. If you're benching too many points then I'd consider taking funds out of those players and rather invest in your starting XI.

IMO people spend too much on their bench. 57 points here all season. You only need 1 playing bench warmer. You get better value spending the extra money on the pitch.

I've only had 114 points on the bench so far this season

What's the total? Someone (Los Blancos) reckons they have lost a total of 250 points on the bench but I don't believe it.

When I last had Ramsey he did wonders for me. Last two GWs, broke my heart. Might not get the nod over Wilshere again?

Shaq looking more promising. Willian rotation risk but I don't understand how Conte can't start him!?

I really think Willian's form has been so compelling he will start most games now. I would include him in the top ten EPL player list. A good replacement for Arnie, who I would also put in that list.

Liverpool were just far too slow and never hit the ball over the top.

For his price he will be good points return i think.

I think people are exaggerating how at fault he was because it's an easy narrative to reach for but he did make a few minor mistakes over a few minutes which ended up resulting in the goal.

He looks dangerous from set pieces and remember Pool's defence is far superior at home. Good transfer IMO

I know it's not a huge help but I think 2 is just edging it. I can see Liverpool feeling humiliated and reacting massively and think the 4-0 thumping and Hazard's goal will give him confidence to go do it again.

21 shots, 4 on target is what I've heard and it seems about right. Mane missed 2 great chances, Salah missed a good chance, Firmino hit the post with a header and Lallana somehow put the follow up over, Van Dijk went close with a header. On another day we win 4-1.

Both, Swansea hardly had a shot at goal but got one in. Pool had lots of shots but didn't trouble the keeper enough. Firmino should have made it 1-1 at the end.

So it means Liverpool were bad with the final finish then

swansea were not interested in playing any form of attacking football and liverpool just played in front of them vvd matip and robertson with most of the ball, created a few half chances could have scored with firminos chance at the end, salah had a chance to square it to mane late on also but chose to shoot (poor decision)
liverpool lacked that cutting edge, people will say they missed coutinho and they did but that is a lazy statement, they were slow and laboured in everything they did and just looked off the pace especially with swansea camped deep in their half

It felt like Swansea were playing a back 7 at times and crowded out at the back.

Liverpool were wasteful with some chances and weren't at the races Tbh. A drab game.

Swansea let Liverpool play in front of them, sat deep and said ‘come and beat us’ and defended very well.

Liverpool had no width and failed to get behind Swansea. This meant that until very late on that Liverpool were held to a few minor half chances reflected in them only having 4 shots on target, one being a free kick.

Liverpool showed that unless they are counter attacking, they do not have the craft, skill and guille to break down a resolute deep sitting defence. Liverpool needed a Coutinho, Sane, William or Hazard type player to break Swansea down, but they simply don’t have that.

Oh, and Swansea had a goal disallowed.
