Fantasy Football Scout Cup VIII – Sixth Round Draw

The Fifth Round results in the Fantasy Football Scout Cup VIII, sponsored by Paddy Power, are rolled out this evening. We also cast an eye over the upcoming head-to-heads – these will occur in Gameweek 19, as the competition takes a quick breather during Gameweek 18:

With all our previous winners eliminated there will be a new name on the cup and among those vying for that accolade, along with the winner’s prize of £100 worth of free bets and a £100 Amazon Voucher, will be the Fifth Round’s highest scorer Cunny Funts. His score of 95 was just enough to edge out CanTheyScore, who heartbreakingly leaves the competition with a score of 90. Cunny Funts will be up against Gaillimh73, who beat Goaldigger.

Meanwhile Applebonkers continues to fly the flag for the Fantasy Football Scout moderators and contributors. His score of 72 was enough to defeat BJ’s tally of 60. A tie against Noel B, who heads into Gameweek 18 with an overall rank of 7,361th, awaits our intrepid moderator.

The highest ranked remaining manager is pifffc, who goes into Gameweek 18 placed 7,243rd overall.

Other site regulars into the Sixth Round include HillbillyPete, who had defeated current champion Wild Rover along the way. He is up against Ericantona_707 after seeing off one of our regular hot topic posters The Sarjeant in the Fifth Round.

Tommy Tynans Left Shin Pad also marches into the Sixth Round draw. He successfully negotiated his way past TOMDN and will now face 11 Men In Flight.

The lowest scoring team to advance into the Sixth Round is Tony Hibberts Love Child, whose score of 66 was just enough to move past Nepalock and his total of 65.

Good luck to the final 32 as they brace themselves for battle in the Sixth Round. Please be aware that the cup takes another break during Gameweek 20 but will be back for the Seventh Round in Gameweek 21.

    Should I be worried that the main thing I look forward to at Christmas are the Boxing Day matches?

    Is Williams + Distin > Mert + Coleman just crazy talk? (one bottle of Cotes du Rhone down...) Feels like they could both be vital 2nd half of season, but could be priced out.

    Have this lot;
    Howard Camp
    Distin Walker Williams Clyne Burner
    Ozil Ramsey Oscar Whitt Ravel
    Suarez Negredo Luka
    1FT, £3.9 bank
