City and Everton Fixtures Fall Foul of the Weather

After last night’s four fixtures produced a distinct lack of goals, Gameweek 26 has arrived with a stunning twist in the tail this evening. The atrocious weather conditions around the country have wreaked havoc with the fixture list and forced Manchester City to postpone their home match against Sunderland, while Everton’s meeting with Crystal Palace has also been postponed due to building damage.

This leaves four matches remaining on tonight’s agenda, with Arsenal versus United, Fulham versus Liverpool, Newcastle versus Tottenham and Stoke versus Swansea all still scheduled to take place.

The Etihad cancellation means City will, at some point, have two double Gameweeks down the line. They already play twice in Gameweek 31 due to Capital One Cup Final duties but will now need to find space for this evening’s encounter – ironically against next month’s Wembley opponents.

It could be some time before the Premier League announce a re-schedule date. In the meantime, those holding City’s attacking assets have now suffered three consecutive blanks following the defeat to Chelsea and the 0-0 with Norwich.

As Kenny Rogers says: "You got to know when to hold them, know when to fold them, know when to walk away and know when to run, you never count your points, when you sitting at the PC, there will be time enough for counting when the gameweeks done".

All 6 of my defenders got points, and I get to keep all 54 of them. I've never known this happen to anyone, letalone myself

    Had Mirallas/Eriksen/Silva/Coleman/Rooney/Suarez(c)...

    Didn't have Adebayor or Gerrard.

Terrible, terrible gw. Worst I can remember in my fantasy career. Morale-wise, not points. Thank god I had Sturridge and Marshall.

does this sound like a good plan with a 4 pt hit?

    OUT: Clyne, Johnson, Dzeko

    IN: Collins, Mirillas, J-Rod

Or any other suggestions i have 1.2 in the bank?

I had a lovely 94 points with Suarez as Captain!!!!! I had Toure blank, and Silva plus 2 palace blanking on the bench.

One of my best transfers in result ever - brought in Collins, Adebayor and Silva for an 8 point hit - they hit 31 points, and I dropped RVP, Gnabry and Gabbidon who totalled 2 points! Net win 21 points and a big climb!! Brought in Fonte and Adrian last week for -4 and they scored me 22 this week with Coleman and Mannone out scoring ZERO!!
