Dugout Discussion

The Dugout Discussion – Saturday

A trio of three o’clock showdowns continue Saturday’s proceedings before we drop in on Stamford Bridge for the evening encounter.

Palace host Southampton at Selhurst Park, with the likes of Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert hoping to spoil the hosts’ clean sheet. Norwich entertain Stoke at Carrow Road – Robert Snodgrass will carry the Canaries’ attacking threat as John Ruddy and his defence attempt to register a fifth successive shut-out in front of their own fans. Finally, the bottom two go head-to-head in Wales, as Cardiff and Fulham attempt to clamber out of the drop zone.

Those matches lead us up nicely to the concluding match of the Gameweek, where league leaders Chelsea entertain Spurs at the Bridge. Leader of this week’s Captain Poll, Eden Hazard, carries the armband hopes of many as Jose Mourinho’s side look for a win that would stretch their lead at the summit to seven points.

As always, you can look to our Twitter feed for news of today’s teamsheets, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open and will accompany you through today’s matches right through until the last kick at the Bridge.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

TSherwood deserbes this loss. question fo time b4 he lost big.
As i said erlier b4, You do NOT bench a player like paulinho for the likes of Bentaleb, Sandro, or at the expense of putting an extra Def Kabul o play Walker as a mid.

Walker as a mid instead of Paulinho?? thats just a a joke. either TS in an [diot, or he just was lucky before. and yes, TS help turn around for Spurs, but Ade was clearly responsible for that, and moreover it was a HUGE undererforkance of the other idiot AVB TS not using Eriksen is proof of this. Eriksen has bad bak, but Paulinho in bench...

Paulinho is 100% guaranteed starter for Brasil Squad. yes that does not imply he can never be benched, but his style of play of defending & attacking has put in the brasilan bench incredible players. paulinho is a starter in ANY team unless he cannot walk. he scored when noone expects him, and moves swiftly from defence to offence like few i have ever seen. Paulinho made Corinthias world champ ag Chelsea w/ a very avg brasilian squad back then,

Stupendous: hopefully you can understand & read btn the lines. As english is only my 4th language. How many languages do you speak Sir?

Better to try writing in a foreign language, than to not express one's ideas because of people like you whp will try to get a laugh at other's expense for something so cheap. If you were not tryng to be funny, then dsregard this comment.

Stupendous: so how many languages do you spak or write in?
and if you're able to speakn & write in a 2nd language (much less a 4th language which english is for me) then please answer my comments that I posted here now.

as far as i am concerned\, this website is not only for uk born, canuck, yank. Thus, margin of error in grammar might happen with those who are not born in a country which Enlgish is not 1st language.

stup: if you in all honesty were praising, then my apologies.
but it sure did not come across as such, the way you wrote it. (came across quite condecending, something i do not tolerate.)

Don't agree with you at all, he's tactics were working perfectly, even Terry admitted this. Perhaps you should study the goals more closely then point the blame at those responsible, individual players who are paid huge money yet make such appalling errors.

Oscar is a 100% starter in the Brazil squad, yet he didn't start today either.

        Crounch:
1st oscar is nowhere near as critical for brazil as is paulinho.
2nd_ oscar is not as critical for che w/ Che's beanch as paulinho SHOULD be critical for Spus.
3rd__ dont try to take things out of context.
4th__as i said b4, its not only me, Big phil coach said , as goes thiago silva, paulinho & neymar, so go brazil.Actions speak louder than words. just go check the history of brasil in past 16 months,

Would you get rid of him? He has a DGW coming up so I'm a bit reluctant to take him out. I could put Silva in for him or possibly Toure.

Does anyone have a selection dilemma for GW32 which consists of having 4 midfielders (lallana, nolan, stirling and colback) that will have DGWs and then Hazard that has one game? I've got SAS up top so the only person i can see dropping is Hazard. Risky move or not?
